GOOD MORNING!

Lazy day yesterday. Took DS and his buddy to the local Oktoberfest. We didn't gamble or drink beer. Just did all the inflatable obstacle course and the ring toss.

MARITA! I'm all :scared1: for you, too! You're so right...you never stop worrying.

Lynette.....RFC sounds a lil pricey....but easy. I like easy.

Lil G.....I need more details on the mean camera throwing lady story! :scared: How do YOU happen to run into people like that? I guess if she had thrown anyone else's camera, she would've been sued, arrested, or assaulted. So it's good it was you. How did the storm total your son's car??? :scared: Did a limb fall on it?

NAB.....You already have Hannah's Christmas dress? You are SO organized. Down here in the south, a boy's "suit" is his navy blazer which works for any suit-type occasion. Wear khakis, oxford button-down, tie.....add navy blazer. Voila! The thinking is that boys need a suit so rarely that it doesn't make sense to buy the whole thing....just a sport coat.

Pumba....I wish we had a uniform exchange here for scouts. I spent $70+ at the scout store and now he "hates" scouts. But I make them see everything through. We are NOT quitting.

Monica....NO! There is no off button. And the worrying does get worse as they get older because you have no control of the situation. At least when they're little you have confidence in your mama-protection skillz. Good luck on the psych exam!

THE COLLECTIVE YOU.....:wave2:

HAVE A BLESSED SUNDAY!

“May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God,
and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.”
- 2 Corinthians 13:14

I've been up late these late few nights studying and I got to sleep in this morning.

I'm just a walking psychological/adjustment book of knowledge right now. At least the first 5 chapters.:rotfl:

LilG: Wow! She threw your camera? Was she famous? Married to Sean Penn?

Enjoy your sunday everyone. I plan on to.

Cel.. Cel...Cel....slowly tsking my head back and forth..

The dogs will eat this concotion but it is to straighten out their intestinal problems.....and also we had to do it for four days when Megara was sick........We could not feed her anything but that .....no doggie food .....it is very bland diet for the babies....

It just got dark here......must be a storm brewing........but at least it isnt a Disney thunder storm that lasts for hours and the rain is so heavy that you cannot see across the swimming area.....boy those were something else......and noisey too......

Well, looks like I finally settled on dates for my Germany trip. October 4 - 14. Only 2 weeks away:scared1: I spent this afternoon searching flights. None are good compared to the old days, when I could get a direct flight. I am thinking of 13-14 hours via Chicago for around $800. But I need to print stuff out to compare, but I cant print it from the laptop, so I am going to be "cough, cough" too sick tomorrow to go to work......... I also need to start packing and buying sweaters, oh and get nails done that i didn't do yesterday and getting hair colored, and buying more wrinkle creams. And get teeth cleaned. I can just hear mom now, "YOU LOOtK TERRIBLE" :scared1: I honestly am not looking forward to this trip.

Of course I am looking forward to seeing my mom, but I dread the criticismn. And I hate that my brother wont be around.

But I guess mom being able to stay home is a good thing, instead of going to a short term care faicilt.y Honestly, I am dreading this trip. And yes, I feel guilty about it!

Hope everyone enjoyed there last full day of summer.

Told the kids they well go to school in the morning and it will be summer and when it is lunch time it will be fall. 11:44 am I think the news guy said.:lmao:

Marita-- great news on your flight. I have relatives like that too. First thing they will say to you after not seeing you for years is ...boy you got fat. I say no I have always been like this.

Lil'g -- what were you taken a picture of that she didn't like? We were on a cruise once with a lady that got mad at my kids for splashing in the kids pool. She didn't want her son to get wet who was sitting on the stairs of the pool. The grandfather even got to yelling so we left after telling them that is what kids do in a pool.:confused3

Pumba -- looked like rain this morning but turned out to be pretty nice. Hope the wind blows your storm away.

Hope everyone is having a pretty nice weekend. As Mony said, we had beautiful weather here yesterday and I did make it over to Lake Michigan and sat on the beach for a couple hours and saw lots of :boat: pirate:

People were even swimming even though the water was pretty chilly. I sat right near the water line so the waves reached my toes a few times.

Moo...do I want to be a gadabout?
PJ - I meant that in the nicest way! More like you're out and about doing fun stuff with your friends :) Hope the wedding went well.

Allie - YAY on your procedures being covered!!! Sorry to hear about needing to have it redone. And sending prayers for Jackson. I have a cousin who named his son Jackson. They mostly call him Jack now.

LOLing about the Easy Button :goodvibes SO true.

Marita - Glad you are figuring out your trip details! :grouphug: And sending lots of pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust: for your son.

Lil G! Sorry to hear you got hit so hard by the storm  Hope you've been able to get things put back together.

Cel - Poor little Riley dog - glad he's doing better. I thought the same thing too when Lex mentioned Cash. Speaking of which, he gets his stitches out on Wednesday and seems to be mending pretty well.

Lex - Sounds like a goog time was had by all at the birthday party!!! Mari got home from her birthday night out on the town at about 2:30 am and I was still up. She and her (male, "just a friend") designated driver came into the living room and I was sitting there in my PJs so I just had her throw me an afghan. It gets even more fun as they get older @#&*!

I had seen the Deevy See video before and thought it was cute. I wonder if that actress is someone who works at the Studios park doing Streetmosphere.

Nabbie - Be glad Hannah is still young enough to want you to buy dolls for her!

L - Canned pumpkin??? Really?! Never heard of that before. Boris has goog taste - Rainforest Cafe has much yummier food than some place like Chuck E. Cheese and the entertainment isn't as cheesy ;)

Mony - Do great on your test! I sure hope yesterday wasn't the last of our nice weather for the year.

And what kind of pj's do you wear Moo!!! And what were you doing up at 2:30 in the morning.

If only you knew the stuff that Hannah has....one spoiled child I tell you. She has so many stuff animals on the bed you can't find her some nights when we check on her. :lmao:

Hello everyone! Hope you all enjoyed your Sunday. I sure did!

Marita, yay on making a decision on your visit to your mom. You may be dreading it, but I betcha you'll be glad you went when all is said and done.

NAB, Natasha likes to keep assorted "important" toys in her bed with her at night too.

L - Canned pumpkin??? Really?! Never heard of that before.

Yep, our vet recommended canned pumpkin for our old cocker spaniel whenever he had digestive troubles....works wonders!

care to elaborate?????????

a promiss was made an not followed threw with the females in this household...so needless to say I got some yard work done while they settled the matter in a quite vocal manor.:rolleyes1

24000 still without power in Louisville ...but all schools will be open tomorrow....none were open last week.

I figured both if us would feel more comfortable if I had an afghan over my nightie :rolleyes1 I was just playing on my laptop. Time sure can get away from you're on-line sometimes.

I am picturing you using a flashlight to make sure you can check on Hannah before going to bed! ;)

Just made it back to Loouhvull. The wedding was really nice last night. They had out a big picture of the bride and groom at their senior prom for everyone to sign. How cute is that?! I could definitely tell I was with the redneck side of my family, though! Seriously, sometimes I wonder how I am related to some of these people. During the course of the evening, there was a tractor, mass amounts of beer, and a hillbilly band. It was held outside at my uncle's house. He lives in the mamacantfindya of Ohio and has this huge lot with no neighbors for miles and miles. It was a beautiful setting, but when the tractor came out, I was thinking "you know you're a redneck if...."

Marita...Germany in just 2 weeks?! You're looking like you might be coming down with something, you better just take tomorrow off. ;) Seriously, good luck with all the preparations!

L...since I am bff with Gary, et al, I will make sure to pass the message along. p.s. Boris is a freakin genius...I love Rainforest Cafe!

Moo...your day at the beach sounds lovely! I just got a nice painting from the area we used to visit every summer up in Michigan. It has Lake Michigan in the background...so pretty! :goodvibes

BH...ya beat me to it! Yes, we had no school at all last week but yes, we are going back tomorrow. :cool1: :dance3: :yay: :woohoo: They've also officially moved our end date from May 20 to May 28 to make up for the lost time. YUCK!!!! I heard some of the schools still don't have power, but I know mine does, so what do I care? ;)

Sweet dreems, all!
:grouphug:

Wow everyone slept in this morning!

Moo-- no flashlight the hall light lets just enough light in to check them.

Marita-- get packing, two weeks will fly by.

P.J.-- sounds like a fun wedding, were there any farm animals involved.

Well it is Monday and I have a lot to do but don't know were to start. Kids are fed and off to school that at least is a start.

.... lets hope you dont have any snow days...Louisville is good about clearing off the snow all night

I hate cell phones. Why is it that after all these years they haven't gotten any more affordable? Our contract is coming up and we want to get away from nextel/sprint. We aren't opposed to sprint, we had nextel when they were separate and all the phones we've had have been motorola which have all been crap.

I'm looking at non commitment plans too because of the whole paying up the wazoo to cancel a phone before 2 years, just in case we lose our job again.

Everything is so flipping expensive!

Tell me, how does a $69.00 a month plan come to $100 a month on the bill with NO extras? That's a lot of freakin tax. :sad2:

MetroPCS has decent prices, but you have to pay full price for the phones. :scared1: Plus they have NO coverage between here and Orlando. Or in Ga. All the places we would go.

I just don't know what to do. :scared:

Good Luck Mony.....we had Sprint forever....I think its ok but it is expensive...we have 3 phones and its alittle over 120 a month.

Hey all! I'm in chicago.
There's a picture of minnie moo here! I'm going to take a pic and post it later.

I'm drinking diet puppies.
ha.
I was thinking about that on the plane - wasn't that what Norah called them diet pepsi?

morning everyone..

Had an early eye appointment ......pressure in both eyes is low enough to try going a month with no eye drops for my glaucoma......sometime cataract surgery fixes up the pressure and no drops are necessary.......but I had a problem with a drug that shot my pressure up really high so have been on another type of eye drop for the last 8 weeks.....so go back in one month.....I casually mentioned to the doctor that sometimes I have a black area when I look in the mirror on my right eye side....so they immediately dilated eyes again and took another ten minutes and he ran my eyes thru some new machines.....scared the you know what out of me.....I have a type of tear but not a detachment......common after some eye surgerys.....so another month...

Lil G.....you always amaze me with your words.......thanks so much for thinking of me......and Now I will hope and pray that all your area gets back to normal after all your weather problems....

fall has arrived my friends....which means hubby will take my ac out of the window and get the furnace ready to fire up.....although last week when we woke up to 33 degrees......still not ready for heat.....just throw on another blanket.....

Marita........I know what you mean about our moms........My mom would say "GOOD" things to all of us when we would go visit her.......My sister was to fat, My pants were to baggy, My brother should never ever drink a beer......I remember though at her banquet after her funeral .......we all had a beer...ROFL
Having a hard time seeing still......the dilating drops always makes my eyes messy for a few hours.....
