Windy!!!! No!!! Don't let me being bad influence you! Stay strong! You have fireman to work out with!!!!!

Mommyp - KNIVES?!?!?!!?!
:scared: (but still cute and funny)

Mommy P-- Does he want a pocket knife. We saw them everywhere when we were down south. Nicholas wanted one with his name on it but that was a "NO" Hubby used to carry a swiss army knife until 9/11.

UMA-- don't fall for the cherry pies!!! We have to pay 2@ $1.39 no dollar menu here.

Celery-- you sure do have a sweet tooth, not to long ago it was cupcakes...not sure which one is worse.

Lil'g -- should be back from his cruise by now. Wonder how the hurricanes impacted his trip?

Yeah a pocket knife. It will be a cold day in you know where before that child is allowed a pocket knife.

Chad carries on, and I have one in my purse. Just a tiny one. It has come in handy many times.

Why did he stop after 9/11?

mommyp - too much trouble if you fly a lot.

nabbers - it's just since the surgery that I crave sweets all the time.
I want something right now! :rotfl2:

Mommy P -- Celery is right , hard to fly with one and they have metal detectors every where now a days including where he works. So it sits in his night stand now.

I would probably cut my hand just trying to open one. :lmao: Not good with knifes unless I have a mesh glove on the other hand.

Celery-- I could use some chocolate right now...good thing I don't have any here right now.

Marita - Urban planning encompasses farm land being converted to residential use and the issues associated with that. My DD has specialized in the agricultural aspects of rural development, including local food systems and agri-tourism (e.g., farm/orchard visits for entertainment purposes like pick your own pumpkins, petting baby animals, arts & crafts shows).

MP - My tentative plans are to be at WDW 12/5-13.

bbn - So sorry to hear of your aunt's sudden passing. I have personally experienced that, so I know how hard it is It was very hard on my mom. Sending prayers for you and your family.

Thanks for the cute kid story, Twink!

Back later tonight, after work.

Nab - Canada must have higher security. We don't have metal detectors anywhere here except the airport and courthouse. Neither of which are places we frequent. lol.

Moo
- Lucky you. Hope you have fun.

Guess whaaaaat?

It's BUNKO night!!!
bunko.jpg

Can I JUST say, it's not a moment too soon!

I'm completely burnt out with one of my daycare families!

Y'all know the two kids in this family are affectionately named "Pooh Girl" and her side kick little brother, "Blow Out Boy" who DAILY have some kind of pooh accident/catastrophe: poohing of pants, a blow out that goes up the back and down the legs, pooh play-dough....you get the picture ( and you're welcome for todays' BIRTH CONTROL ;) ) and if that isn't bad enough, the mama-bear is constantly pissy with life, job, her DH, and countless other troubles I'm sure she'd be thrilled I'm sharing with you!

This family NEVER pays on time or the check bounces when they DO finally pay and...AND I charge her the same fee she originally had for part time 3 days a week (18 hrs) as the current FIFTY hours. She is known for shopping, tanning, napping after work prior to coming and getting them and her DH is often HOME all or most of the day while they are with me!!!! UGH.

I can't believe what a wuss I am to feel bad in telling her I can't watch them any more and not become and alcoholic or need an extended stay at the TIRED HOSPITAL! The ick-factor is she's my neighbor and "friend". UGH UGH UGH! *

So....really glad for BUNKO tonight where the number one rule is NO KIDS.
And, there may or may not be Mojito night! which I may not be totally opposed to ;) Mama like!

* Rant Over! Thanks for listening!

Wendy - 1st. What is Bunko? 2nd. Do you need to be reminded that you don't drink? 3rd. Mojitos are my favorite.

MONICA!!!!!

Thank YOU for the early Birthday Card!!!! I LOVE it!
:cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

I like the music cards best!

It really made my upcoming 36th birthday fabulous! :rolleyes1

And you mailed it from WDW!!!! :thumbsup2

Hello friends! It's been a pretty chatty day here, I see!

Praying for BBN's family, Brielle, and Cel's friend's family. :grouphug:

Hey! It's the Utah Stat Farm now through the 14th. I got to milk a cow one year. For reals! Plus, they usually have delicious deep fried food items on-a-stick (which is my big lure). I 'm pretty sure they're having a demolition derby...and who doesn't like THAT? Not to mention the pink baby pigs and the 4H Club projects and the life-sized BUTTER COW sculpture! I look forward to the State Fair every year. :yay:

I love a good fair! We ALWAYS attend the Topsfield Fair in early October....it's the nation's oldest agricultural fair, and it is DELICIOUS! --- oops, I mean FUN! Heh. With Clydesdale weight pulls and carnival rides hosted by scary toothless people, and a giant pumpkin contest! Not to mention the plethora of people watching opportunities!!!!! Really, what's not to love? Can't wait to go! :hyper:

Twinkie-- "Amen" to Goldenchild's prayer because with out WDW there would be no thread like this and the many friends that I found here. :grouphug:

Amen, NAB!

It was the devil dancing in my mouth!"
:lmao:

Now THAT'S funny!

Hmm.....I had a VERY similar situation with my sister-in-law. Luckily, my darling brother is now in the process of making her my EX-sister-in-law. Nice to know that God hears our prayers! Snark.

Mojitos are my favorite.

Ooh, me too!!!!!!! :hyper:

I love urbandictionary.com almost as much as snopes and wikipedia.
:rotfl2:

Hee...did I ever tell you that Crazybossman pronounces wikipedia as "why-kee-pedia"? And Wii is pronounced as "W-2". What a doofus! :lmao:

maraita: any idea if there was flooking along west 192, east of 27? (Vista del lago)?

Smidgy, no flooding in these parts, it was mostly north-east of Orlando.

I need food, badly......... I need a cook!

Wendy - THAT is worth venting over! :scared: :scared: Ugh. Hope you have a fun girls night out!!! Does SpongeMama play bunko too?

I have never had a Mojito. I'm not really a mint person.

L - That ca-razy bossman :sad2: So are you watching Mitt at the Convention tonight? Hubby plans to watch Palin's appearance.

Nabbie - I have been wondering about LilG and how his trip went too.

MP - I will need a vacation by December! End of fiscal year month :headache:

We talked with Mari tonight. We took Cash to the vet today and had to let her know what's going on with him. Apparently he tore a bunch of ligaments in his hind leg jumping over our fence :sad1: We can either see how much he heals on his own or spend $450 for surgery within the next few weeks that likely will not give him back 100% use of his leg. He can get around OK on 3 legs, but he is just so pitiful at times. Poor gimpy boy. I think he misses his mama. But at least she finally got a chance to see some of the sights in DC yesterday.

Marita: EAT something!!!!!!!!!! Make a grilled cheese sammie!

Marita: EAT something!!!!!!!!!! Make a grilled cheese sammie!

OK, I heated up some tater tots!

I turned on the convention too to see Palin's speech, it's sure to be the talk of the talking heads tomorrow. Pretty much ignoring the rest so far.

How long was Lil G's cruise? He hasn't posted in a long time.

Pumba, son is doing well. a bit bored. He reports in at 1o am and gets off at 10:45 am, untill he starts his flight training in a few weeks. Just enough to fly in a pinch, I think, since he can't be a pilot. But he bought an instruction book anyway and is studying that. Maybe later in life he can be a pilot. Congrats to your granddaughter!

EliSabeth, so sorry about your aunt and your mom!

Wendy, I need a Bunko group too!!!!

Nab, YAY for Nicholas!

I am sure there was more more I wanted to comment on, but I forget (surprise!)

Well, here comes Sarah.........

L - That ca-razy bossman :sad2: So are you watching Mitt at the Convention tonight? Hubby plans to watch Palin's appearance.

I turned the convention on just in time to see Palin's speech. I think she is doing a fantastic job! Introducing her family and actually telling a bit about them, instead of just spouting platitudes like the Dems! I LIKE her! Can we vote for her for President instead? Pretty please? She's got more experience than Obama!

Goog Morning!

Why is it dark out at this awful hour? It's no wonder I stay in bed until well past 7am on most days. When Seth becomes president(it's his big goal after working at the ice cream place that I worked and living with his friend ashton) I'm going to make him change the law so no one is allowed out of bed before sun up. ;) Except public service people. :3dglasses

It was just pouring down rain. Where did that come from? Did Ike speed up over night? :scared1:

You watching Ike, Marita? Holy smokes. I just hope it stays way up north in that cone and doesn't come into the gulf and do one of those stupid turns straight into SW FL moves like so many of them like to do.

I've been a busy girl planning faux trips. I had it all planned for a over Christmas little trip, but then I realized I wasn't going to be able to upgrade those MYW tickets to Florida Resident Seasonal Passes because they were during a FRSP black out.

MONICA!!!!!

And you mailed it from WDW!!!! :thumbsup2

Yea you got it!!!! :yay:

That was my intro song when I was on the radio.

Long story, short part of my life.

You have those kinds of parents too? Let me know how it goes. Usually those kinds I just wait it out and things work out in the end anyways. They usually get fired or can't afford me anymore. Have you thought of raising your rates, just for her?:rolleyes1

Did I ever tell the story of the kid I watched who was always dropped off in his zippered up jammies with no coat in winter, drenched in urine, no underwar/diaper, not potty trained, I had to bath every morning?

Yes, it's true and once when I unzipped those rancid jammies there stuck to his chest was a smooshed jelly donut?

Mom worked for Tim Hortons at the time. Guess what they had for dinner at night?:rolleyes1

I should have known better when we were on the phone interviewing and she lost her son and found him asleep on top of her refridgerator.

Have a great day. Back to Biology. Last night was PHED (CPR/Health)
Easy peasy lemon squeezy.
