Biology is going to be a challenge. I was grateful that the prof is making some "special" arrangements for me since I will not be around the last week of class. I am losing 100 points cause she won't allow me to take the practicals (lab testing) on a different date, but there is extra credit opportunities and she said she'll double my mid term practicals.

I hope my PHED class and PSYC class profs are as accomodating.

My mom worked along with my new helper Miss Jenni yesterday. Mom said she was really good with the kids.

When I got home my little stink pot daughter did crawl up to me to say hi, but then she bee lined it over to Miss Jenni.

I know that's a good sign, but................

GOOD MORNING!

I am alive. Woke up night before last at midnight and last time I looked at the clock it was 4:00 am! I KNOW! And I had to do payroll yesterday! With no sleep.

Running late again today but at least I got a goog night's sleep.

Celery....Praying for your friend and her family. And yes, cherry pies are of the devil. But the good news is...it you eat only cherry pie for lunch, you're safe.

Smidgy...My pm box is full and I'm too lazy to clean it out right now. Mimi and I pack very light so there would be room for a 4-cup coffee maker I think. I'll look for one at the yard sales. I think 60s lake view might be good for us. Here's a weird question....Those buildings at the POP look so BIG. Do you have to walk around them to get to the other side or is there a breeze-way or something so you can walk through/under/between?

morning everyone.

Our granddaughter called last night and she got a lab assistant job in the chemistry lab....also she was asked to tutor ...she was wicked excited.....she is taking inorganic chemistry this semester.....last year it was the other one.. she is also taking genetics and three other things.....but beats me if I remember....

Megara slept in this morning......and I woke up early.....this does not make sense.....I have to get some things going today ....so I wont be rushing around on Friday and forgetting something......I think on the top of the list are the ponchos.... after all it is September and there are four or so storms on the horizon.....

having a major restoration on the hair this Friday......I will be all primped up for Disney....well I need a dye job for sure.....

shoot just remembered to put shave legs, on the list.........I am sooooo forgetful..I "think" I need some of that ginko stuff too...

I had some sad news myself last night. My aunt (my mom's sister) passed away very unexpectedly yesterday. She collapsed and they took her to the ER, but she never came back around. My gpa that passed away recently was my mom's dad, so my mom could really use extra prayers right now.

My mom was very close to this sister. (she has 3 sisters and 2 living brothers, but my mom was only one year younger than her and they were the oldest of all the siblings) They have been through some unspeakable things together.

My mom is definitely the one that taught me the art of picking yourself up by your bootstraps and moooving on and when life deals you a rough hand, it's not the end of the world, only a stumbling block. I just hate it that the one person that understood everything my mom has gone through is now gone. And while I am very sad, I can't imagine the pain my mom is going through.

And if you think about it, keep my cousin in your prayers too. She is my age and now her mom is gone and she never knew her dad as he was killed by a drunk driver when she was a baby. TIA.

So sorry to get the thread started off on a sad note. Somebody post a cute kids story quick!!

A few nights ago, out of nowhere he switched his prayer on us.



Dear Jesus, Thank you for Disney World. I am going. Amen.

Moo- Nice goat pics! They look so sweet. Like you want to go feed'em oats ("Doe-s Eat Oats and Goats Eat Oats and Little Lambs Eat Ivy, A Kid will Eat Ivy TOO! Wouldn't You?" ) Not "my" trampoline tied psychopath goat. Glad he's gone to the farm/Animal Shelter.

Hey! It's the Utah Stat Farm now through the 14th. I got to milk a cow one year. For reals! Plus, they usually have delicious deep fried food items on-a-stick (which is my big lure). I 'm pretty sure they're having a demolition derby...and who doesn't like THAT? Not to mention the pink baby pigs and the 4H Club projects and the life-sized BUTTER COW sculpture! I look forward to the State Fair every year.

Celery- Geez, that IS sad! Prayering too!

I have to get kids ready for school. Yay!
Norah is starting Preschool tomorrow! Not OPP (Over priced preschool) but a super cool in-home preschool nearby. Not only is she starting, but my 2 daycare girlies are going too!

Day two of school has started.

Yesterday was so busy. Had a billion papers to read, sign and send back this morning. Hannah even had homework the first night but it was more like homework for me. She had to ask me questions like why did you name me Hannah, what would you have called me if I was a boy etc.

We had Nicholas last ball game last night they played so well and almost won over the #1 team in our league. And the game went late so they got to play under the lights. That was a big deal to them.

Celery-- so sad, prayers for that family for sure.

Babynurse-- I can't imagine losing one of my sisters. Prayers for your families.

Windy (and others who like deep fried goodness) -
When Breadman and I were at church two weeks ago we overheard a VERY flamboyant church member describing deep fried oreos to the pastor -
he said "Pastor Cindy! It was the devil dancing in my mouth!"

Breadman was able to resist when he went to the fair last week. He stayed away from that devil.

For those that are new - I go to a church that is 95% gay and lesbian.
It's interesting.
I myself am a recovering lesbian.

How sweet! Kaleb's prayers are super long and drawn out.

"Thank you Jesus for this food. Please help Mommy not to spank me, please help Mommy not to spank Ethan, Please help Daddy not to spank me, please help Daddy not to spank Ethan. Help me and Ethan get knives. Amen"

Somewhere in the process he's forgetting to just obey so he doesn't get spankings.
