I am calling it a night too. Kids and I are heading to the water park tomorrow with one extra kid for an overnight outing. They said it is going to be hot so it will be a good place to be or not it is really busy.

Hugs to all, with parent problems. Say a prayer or two for my hubby. Tomorrow he takes his Mom (Alzheimer's disease among other things) to get an MRI re a mass that they have found. Her mental capabilities are getting worse. She cannot remember things that she just said in a conversation. She is sometimes a bit combative.

Morning Moovers!

Mental note to keep sleepovers limited to the weekends. They would never settle down and played musical beds up until Midnight. I am tired.

3 10 year old got scared sleeping in the basement.

Tim is actually driving to Bay City ( About an hour and a half drive) today to visit one of his hubs. I guess he's ready.

NAB I love the drapes. The warm tones look especially nice with the dark rich tones of your cabinetry. Good choice. I am sending over the HGTV camera crew at noon.

Thanks again to all for the birthday greetings. It was a low key but enjoyable day. In the evening DD1 and DD2 phoned to wish me a happy birthday which was a nice surprise. Now that they are getting older and need to remember on their own without their mother telling them "Hey, it's your step-mother's birthday today," I wasn't sure they would remember. No call from DS but I see him more often since we swing by and pick him up for the flea market and church every Sunday. He's usually the one to give me a mother's day bouquet so I'll forgive him the lack of a birthday card or phone call.

Her problem is she drinks way too much and then she has a loud mean nasty mouth - none of the neighbors are talking to her and she told me to cancel the Bridal shower/party that we are all looking forward (everyone from the wedding Sat! my aunts and their kids) Always drama. Joy. not!!

Oh, and I got locked in the garage last night. The spring broke. You CAN'T open a garage door with a broken spring! Remember that! Anyway, the garage door man came early this morning and has fixed our door. Now DD can have her b'day party as planned. Let's just say there was some drama last night with her worrying about how we were gonna get to her own party. My MIL is coming, so she would have come and given us a ride, so she didn't have anything to worry about.

Mony - We are having a weeknight sleepover tonight, but it is only the cousins, so hopefully it will go ok for me.

I really haven't lost anymore.
I'm at 183 - which I first hit in May - but the last few month of gaining a bit and losing a bit has shifted it all around.
Anyway, my thighs are HUGE, so yes, I still need to lost some more.
I want to get into a 10 - and I'm still in a 14.
So I'm hoping 30 pounds will do it - I just don't know how long it will take me to get there.

bh - We actually have a beef o brady's in the small town I live in -
I still haven't been there, but considering it's only 3 miles from my house, Ishould check it out!
It's just that I spend so much time at the breadman's, I never go anywhere close to home!

Breadman learns fast. When he wants to.
A week and a half ago he showed me a picture of an overweight girl on myspace and he commented that it wasn't very attractive -
so, me playing the innocent female, asked if he thought I was unattractive.
His answer? "No, but you won't put half naked pics of yourself on myspace because you know better."
me: Because other people don't need to see what you have?
him: Ha. Yeah, that's what I meant.

Then on Thursday he came home and said we were taking Camden out for his birthday - I started to change and he asked what I was doing.
Me: You think I could get away with wearing pajamas to the restaurant?
Him: Yes, but I don't want everyone seeing what I have.


I told him I loved it when he said the right thing, even if it's a lie!

Ok. .then definately go there and try the wings....ask for extra crispy and a draft Blue Moon or Amber Bock to wash them down....I usually order 10 wings and a few of the 99 cent drafts during happy hour 3pm to 6pm here locally.
I think when the breadman comes and visits you... he would like that place.

Kay (and BbN)- I DID have a BIG Birthday post up yesterday...until my DARLING husband turned off the computer. I was in the middle of it, and POOF it went (grrrrrrrr!!!!!). I shall put my smarty pants BACK on and push the re-do button.
