Sis, you need cataract surgery, too? I guess you've been reading too much DVC fine print lately! I'd be nervous, too, but my mother had it done and it wasn't too big of a deal. Still, sorry to hear you and Pumba both have to deal with this.

I am off to see a couple more apartments, then my mom is going home and my friends are meeting me here to continue to the beach. Last night we stumbled across a free concert downtown (John Hiatt, anyone?) and then I had my first experience with fried green tomatoes. Not bad, if I do say so myself.

Gotta run, the beach is calling my name!!!

Its raining here today and very dark and dreary.......I was awake a few hours in the middle of the night so I slept in this morning.......hubby got up and tended to the dog and making the coffee.......Woke up at 9 with a phone call from the little munchkins.....They are coming to visit us today. They have more things to bring to the storage unit.....they have to be out of their house the 12th and they stay with us thru the First of July.......Have to remember to get stuff....

You're welcome, but it didn't seem to rouse you very quickly!

Yes, this is not Stinky/Emily: she was banned from our property for attacking Tornado! Emily seemed like a nice cat at first, but she had a sneaky devious streak.

We got Crystal from an animal shelter, figuring if Tornado eventually accepted Emily on his territory, he might do OK accepting a second cat in the house. We were never sure if he would enjoy the companionship, or hate us for getting him a friend. The first few days were dicey, but now they play together and get along.

LOL. Actually, here you will hear it either way. Being smack-dab in the middle of the USA, tellemarkters claim that Kansans and Nebraskans have the most accent-neutral dialects in the country. So, you will hear things here that will float on different sides of the right-cost v left-cost and Mason-Dixon line.

Officially, here we have Garage Sales (that don't have to be in the garage...lol), Yard Sales (that don't have to be in the yard), and Estate Sales (that are seldom on Estates).

He really is a good cat an very tolerant of the small pets we have. I dont think he would ever hurt them...he watches us play with them and knows we love them all and he knows he is loved them most for sure.

Blech, Kay. Most of my Saturdays are spent trying to slay the laundry monster. I am seldom successful, unfortunately. Also, my kids have decided that all of today's meals will be multi-course extravaganzas which require elaborate preparation. So I'll have a sink full of dishes shortly too.

I just took a shower and got dressed......today is my 60th birthday and the kiddos are coming to make me feel "SOOOOOOO GOOD" yah .....of course it is just a number.....I went to bed being 59 and woke up to being old...not really...just another day in the life of a nutcase.....that would be me......

Hubby is putting all the petunias in the boxes so I can say.....oh those are so nice......and megara is sitting close to my feet.......warming them up I think.....hubby did a few loads of laundry before I even got up.......he is good.....think I will keep him around for another 41 years.....hahaha...
