Steph-- you will be in WDW next Saturday....are you packed yet?

Mony-- I do believe your Wings are going to win the Stanley Cup. I love teasing my son since he is cheering for the Pengins. He has Crosby posters on his wall.

Umm nope... workin' on it. After I finish up a couple of avatars.

Yep, Nabbie! I was scrapbooking yet again tonight. But I was invited over to some work friends' for dinner and scrapbooked 6 pages while they and some other friends were painting their foyer. Before that, I met my friend Debbie at Best Buy and she found an LG stainless microwave for around $150 after she picked her mom up from the airport. Then we went out to lunch at Panera. I lent her my digital camera so she can take photos at her DD's graduation tomorrow I'm going to take photos at her open house. I think I probably only have 10-12 pages to go. Yaaaaaay!

I just got back from the BBQ Cookout...there was way more food than 20 more poeple could have ate...lots of beer leftover and I was the Corn Hole champion of the Day....yeah
BH, I think my daughter and some of her friends play that too (if the way you play it is basically a beanbag game!!!!!!) Maybe you had better explain what it is :lmao:

I booked a campground for 4th of July weekend. We are gonna camp out right next to Michigans Adventure. Spend the days at the park and just sleep in the tent. How's this sound?

LOVE the name, Mony! :rotfl2:

GO WINGS!

Hello, everyone!

Thanks, Wendy! I hope this post finds everyone well. I'm posting from SIL's house so no time to catch up.

Thanks to everyone for the sweet PMs. Last week was long, sad, and tiring but we got through it. I appreciate all your prayers and kind words. Keep praying for my friend and her family. There will be lots of hard days ahead for them.

The cable man came on Thursday to install my broadband and phone service and he was going to change my phone number. (We've had it for almost 20 years.) So he put a hold on it but the broadband is gone at home until the phone number deal is straightened out. Wednesday is supposedly the day. We'll see.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MOMMY P! (whose birthday I missed)

See you all soon! :wave2:
Welcome back, Lex! You were missed

We recently had a similar thing happen when we switched our phone service to be through our cable company :scared1: They said to my husband "Would you like to know your new phone number?" and he said "NO! Switching was contingent on keeping our old number. Uninstall it!!!" So they came back a couple weeks later once they figured out how to leave our 20+ year-old phone number the same. They didn't mess with our high speed except that we have lost Internet AND phone service two or three times since we switched over. Bah!

Ack! I missed Pumba's and MommyP's birthdays too!!!

Pumba, Happy 60th!!!!!!:

I think when she "bathes" her guinea-babies, she's really TASTING them ::yes::
:rotfl2:

Happy Birthday to Pumba and MommyP!!!!!

I will not attempt Melinda's MSO, but I will give us a bible verse today.
Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes? 26Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? 27Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life? Matthew 6:25-27

This is what our sermon was on today.

Love you guys! I'm off to help with pride for a few minutes then back to the breadman's house.

Mony2- Up for hours on this fine and beautiful day of rest? What's gotten in to you? Oh feeding da babee, I forgot.
Getting ready for Camp SchelpneppaHo? :rotfl:

My precious-angels were up late :rolleyes1 thus they slept in!

Celery- Thanks for the scripture, sister! How IS the Breadman doing?

BH- Cornhole Champion? That sounds interesting, yet I'm afraid to ask. LOVE bbq lately. Can't get enough of that Sweet Baby Ray sauce.

Hi Wendy: corn hole is a tailgaten party game of choice for the midwest....you can set up the game anywhere....it consist of two slanted boards with a hole towards the top... spread out about 20 feet apart for either 2 or 4 players... each team has 4 bean bags filled with dried corn that attempt to get tossed into the corn hole(think of ole time corn bin in a barn) which involves massive quatities of beer drink(4 in my case) in short periods of time....lol

huh! Good to know!

We just had an impromptu house showing. As I was cleaning the master bathroom, I heard a few adult voices in the front room... and what do my wondering eyes should appear, but a young couple talking with DH who was giving them a tour! They had been walking in our neighborhood and said they wanted to have a look. Mid toilet scrubbing, I took over the tour a little. My DH gave me and apologetic, yet scared (of me) look since I like the place to look more polished and not have tons of laundry in the works of being folded. It turns out they don't have any kids and this would be "too much house for them", but Chatty Patty still yapped with them for a good 30 mins.

So I guess his stressing about the house being clean ALL the time is valid. NOT that I want to admit it.;)

My boys have been riding our 4-wheelers out in our back yard for 3 days straight (practically). The come inside all crusted with boy-filth only to eat and pee and get drinks of water. ::yes::

Mama wants a pink 4 wheeler! :cloud9:

Mal and her partner in crime thought it was more fun to be awake rather than sleep through the night. Mal was just to excited to sleep cause she had pictures and got to wear her costume today.

I'm uploading pics, so I will post some when they are done.

Not really. He just needs to do what I say when I say it.
Duh.

Sounds prezackly how my DD and her friends play this game :lmao:

Wendy - ACK! on the impromptu house tour. Sounds like some lookie-loos. As if they couldn't tell from he outside that your house was going to be too much house for them @@

BTW, my hubby has a camo-colored 4-wheeler. But it's NOT pink camo :rotfl2:

Mony - Mal is SO cute in her recital outfit :) And your landscaping looks terrific.

We are trying to declutterify the house today and do some cleaning before our daughter arrives Tuesday evening. My suitcase from the gradiation/WDW trip is still sitting in the living room :rolleyes1 Hope the grandwuppy's coughing has let up a bit.

P.S. I'm all caught up on my games.

mony - I HATE those border stones! they are so hard to get them to look JUST right.
at my old house we did a snake curve.
argh!
I thought I was gonna die!
hee.
breadman still sucks.

(just kidding, mom!)

Mony, LOVE the pics, all of them!

What beautiful little angels you have. And your landscaping looks Wonderful!

Wendee, EEK on the impromptu drop-in of house shoppers  Couldn't they tell just by the size of the house it was too much for them :confused3

Celery, I am glad breadman is fine and good *Ahem*

DH went shopping for a care package for DS yesterday. It all has to be indivdual serving size. DS said, well, if you send something, send some iced tea packages small einough for 1 glass or something. So I just packed a box with lots of those, some peanut butter crackers, some peanut packs, and DH thought for some reason he needs a new razor and razor blades. Well, I am not a man, so what do I know? Oh, and I threw in some York peppermint patties that I think were meant for DH. Hope they don't melt. I know DS likes his dad's chocolate, but he can't have a whole bar, so no chocolate for now.

Monyx2 Very nice pictures. Your kids are adorable. Your landscaping looks so tidy and pretty. Right now our lawn is a forest of dandelions. :( We don't use any sort of weed sprays etc. Such are the blessings or curses of living in the country. We got a heavy duty, barely used, weedwhacker today at the flea market, so maybe that will help whip the yard into shape. Not that we plan to use it on the dandelions, though.

My yard is a disaster! Brown with weeds and anthills. Since DH is a landscaping manager (not by choice, but circumstance) mowing is about all that ever gets done around here, and no rain for months, so all grass is dead!

Like the cobbler's kids go without shoes, or whatever that saying is.

Well, he does water a hanging basket by the front door, and does plant flowers in the front of the house a couple of times a year. But the grass is a disaster!

Maybe you should dig up all the grass and redo the yard with desert landscaping ;) You could have some sand, cacti, rocks and that sort of thing.

Great idea, SIS, I'll see if I can hire someone for that, cause it sure won''t be me doing the work!
