Yes, this morning after our breakfast I discovered Emily/Stinky/Squirrel curled up in the box we gave her on the porch. I actually let her inside for a little while because it is so cold, windy and rainy today.
It was funny watching her walk cautiously around the house like in "slowmo" with Tornado following at a distance to see what she was up to. I think Tornado might be OK with a cat friend after all. I used to have doubts about that. Unfortunately, aside from Emily being someone else's cat, I don't think she's a good choice. As the neighbors said, "She likes people a lot better than other cats." She continues to whine and moan if Tornado gets close. We spotted him slinking along behind her, swatting at her retreating tail, and couldn't help but laugh. Once he popped out from around the couch and gave her butt a whack and she let out a Yelp! I think he was just playing, because he does things like that to us all the time, grabbing our legs as we walk away, but she was terrified.
