Moovers!! Thanks to everyone who said congratulations to me.
It was definitely surreal walking across that stage yesterday and hearing my name called. I was thinking wait, I can't be graduating, I just started going to this school!!
I am feeling very reflective this evening, so I'll try to keep the rambling to a minimum.
I learned so much these past 4 years. Not just school stuff. If you had told me 4 years ago everything that would happen while I was in college I think I would have said NO THANKS and gone and hid!!! But now that I look back I am grateful for all of my experiences because I've learned from my mistakes and without them I wouldn't be me! I can't count the number of times I wanted to give up or thought I couldn't do it. I especially didn't think I was going to pull off graduating in time. That was iffy until the very end. I had to take a semester off my freshman year for reasons we won't get into, so I graduated in 3 1/2 years. I feel sad to be leaving my campus and leaving things behind, but there are also things I want and need to leave there and I'm ready to say goodbye. I have a song (act surprised)...I'll just post part of it. This is one of my all time favorite songs and I listened to it driving to graduation. I just think it's appropriate.
How do you wait for heaven?
And who has that much time?
And how do you keep your feet on the ground
When you know that you were born,
You were born to fly
My daddy he is grounded like the oak tree
My momma she is steady as the sun
Oh, you know I love my folks
But I keep starin' down the road
Just lookin' for my one chance to run
I will soar away like a blackbird
I will blow in the wind like a seed
I will plant my heart in the garden of my dreams
And I will grow up where I walk wild and free
How do you wait for heaven?
And who has that much time?
And how do you keep your feet on the ground
When you know, that you were born,
You were born to fly

Congratulations on your achievements!
Little baby kittens would be so cute!
Fortunately, they gave me a pass so I wouldn't have to wait through the entire security line again. But I still ended up overheated and very red in the face from trying to hurry back. One of the guys from the check-in counter helped me get situated on the plane. I had upgraded to business class so the flight attendant brought me some ice water so I could cool down. I'm glad they didn't give my seat away!!! I got some headphones and listened to the XM radio and had a couple drinks during the flight.
I'll get some pictures later in the week.
So cleaning that up has been loads of fun . . .
The new kitchen guy really worked his butt off on Friday to get my powder room almost done but useable and all the electrical stuff done in the kitchen.
I asked him were was he weeks ago. They have to come back and do some small stuff.

I'm so sorry! Sounds like you had fun anyway. Can't wait to see the pictures!
