The family May birthdays gathering at Copperton Park last Sat.:

This is Tyler (16, whom I adore), cousin Braedan (10), and my Dallen (10) on one of many cool trees I trip over every year.

NOW you can have THIS visual when I'm talking about my "D"FIL. I wish I could say he's a lovable old carmudgin, but he's a totally mean, grumpy, SOB. The kid in the red cap is Scotty (14) who kissed me ON THE LIPS when it was time to say goodbye. EEEK! Like I said before I was wearing my tingly lip plumping lip gloss (Lip Fusion XL for you girlie girls) so I prolly made him numb. Heh.
Pict0221.jpg

Riley's turn to be "IT". You can't tell in these pictures, but we're in a huge circle because you need a lot of room to play this game.
Pict0225.jpg

This is Raechel (18) and she's the one who was wearing a tube top underneath this hoodie. It got warmer out and she removed the hoodie (at a family gathering!!!! I think it was because there was some "boys" nearby) Let's just say we all saw WAYYYY more than we could ever want of her chestal region (the other two Teen girls were not there, or this would have been MUCH more interesting)
Pict0217.jpg

Bradean's turn...basically smacking Rae with a pool noodle. NO pictures of me being IT but I was IT a few times too many.
Pict0227.jpg

And this for the awwww-factor!

The End.

Well? That's IT?

J/K RobIn.

Well, heck, you're making the other DH's look bad! Although my DH exceeded any of my "greedy" expectations, STILL, I didn't get my nap or a clean car/house/weeds whacked/non-cat-chewed roses/ POSTERS (nice touch).
The posters were all the kids' idea. I'm proud of them (the kids) too.

GOOG MORNING, SUNSHINES!!! :cool1:

Moo...hope you're feeling better and you and Cel have a great Disney day!!

Lexi...I am impressed by your DD's straightener breaking skillz! :lmao: Glad you got a new one. :) Off to check out facebook pictures.

1 a. Omelets? Do you eat eggs? I can't ever remember.
b. pancakes with lemon marscapone?!?!?!! Oh my goodness! Sounds yummy!
c. What meat did you cook? I HATE cooking breakfast meat. It makes everything stinky! and it's greasy! and annoying! (but it sure is yummy if someone else cooks it. hee).
d. I've been thinking about you a lot as I eat around WDW. Most of the vegetarian dishes sound so YUMMY! I haven't been giving in to ordering them since I need protein when I can, but goodness! Pretty good choices. And the asian salad at ABC commissary is pretty darn good.

2. Sure! I'll take her to the airport - but she has to dress as Ariel and has to stay in character the whole time. Hee!
1a. Yes, I eat eggs.
b. I'm secretly a loser who loves to cook. I was adding sugar and almond extract to the pancake batter because I decided I wanted them to be dessert-ish so then I was thinking about what else would go goog with that and the lemon marscipone was born. It was, in fact, yummy!
c. I made bacon AND sausage. Both turkey because no one in my family eats red meat. They just eat turkey, chicken, etc. Well, except Hollywood who eats anything that even remotely resembles food.
d. Go for it. :thumbsup2
2. I'll let her know. She should be thrilled. :sad2:

Utah...I can't believe it's snowing there! It felt cold here yesterday. I don't know what the temperature was but I don't think it was snow cold....wow!!! And I think all IHOPs are redneck-ish. ;) Not that I don't like them!

Twink...happy giving birth day!!! I think I might giggle if I ever found one of my professors on facebook.

Mony...yikes about that baby! :scared1: And I agree with you about tube tops. I don't think anyone of any age needs to wear them. :scared:

Hope everyone has a lovely Monday. In the final stages of packing here.

Rob....Nice job on the mother's day cleaning/pampering. You love fresh flowers? And Cary Grant?:rolleyes1 I guess you're just in touch with your feminine side which is what makes you such a good husband. (not counting the mower/gift incident)

Wendee! Thanks for the pictures. That puts things into perspective. Your father in law looks like a cheerful guy. Heh. And the niece looks muuuuuuch older than 18. Thanks for giving us the hoodie picture. ;)

PJ
...Not only did she step on the straightener but she broke it into two pieces, connected only by some dangling wires. Yep. Nothing in that house really belongs to me however.

If I had the money and a DW that did not think it was a waste of money, I would have fresh flowers in the home weekly. I would.

Heya MOOvers! I enjoyed reading about everyone's Mother's Day!

Mine was full of wonderful homemade gifts from Boris and Natasha (including "coupons" for "One week of dusting and vacuuming" and "One major chore of Mom's choice w/no complaining". Heehee!), as well as a new pair of earrings to replace the pair I lost half of on Friday, and a pair of new blue spruce trees (they were my Dad's fave, so there's sentimental value there) for my front yard. Plus, DH is taking me to dinner at the restaurant of my choosing at MY earliest convenience. He wanted to go either Saturday or yesterday, but I declined because I had no desire to fight the Mother's Day crowds.

Best of all was the major overhaul that DH did on the yard and his assistance with MY clean-a-palooza of the dressing room. He kept the kids and the puppy busy for nearly 5 hours so that I could jettison all the clothes/shoes/purses I've been meaning to give to charity. Then he schlepped all the off-season stuff to the attic, and brought down the Summer stuff for all of us so that I could wash it and put it in its proper place.

Twinkie....Join as (real first name) Twinkie! Seriously! Will you have to communicate with IRL family and friends who will be perplexed by your Twinkie alias? Lynette just went with a last initial. Which may also be fake for all I know.

Melinda and Twinkie: My Facebook name is my first name plus the initials of my middle and last names. Twink, I don't even use an actual photo of myself as my profile pic. I use my Meez image (which you have seen over there, I believe). In order to see actual photos of me, I have to add you as my Friend first.

Twink, I'd say you should join as "Real Name" Twinkie too. Or "Real Name M." (shhhh!....the M stands for Montessori ;) )

Monica, YIKES on your daycare baby! Thank heavens you were conscientious enough to insist that the baby go to her doctor! :sad2:

Wendy, looks like your picnic was fun, despite the family antics! BTW, your FIL bears a frightening resemblance to my own. :scared1:

RobIn, good going on Mother's Day for your DW! Now, can you live up to those standards for the rest of the year?

Back to work now.....have a great Monday, everyone!

Wendell, EVERYONE needs a Meez, dontchaknow!

I think the snack cake is caving too! Come closer, Twinkie....closer!

I'm going over to take my turn RIGHT NOW! Exit, stage left!

Peej, I started a game for the two of us the other day. It's your turn, precious!

What? yesterday was MOTHER's DAY?!? I was supposed to get presents and cards and food?!?

Just kidding. My favorite part was the mad-lib style cards my twins made at Sunday School.

My mother is the most wonderful mom in the world. She is as pretty as a flower. She weighs about 40 lbs and is 62 inches tall. Her favortite food is spaghetti .
In the old days when my mother was little she played with Barbies and played horsie. I think mom looks funny when she sticks her tongue out. My mother is happy when she eats with me. I wish mom would swim at the hotel with me everyday. I wouldn't trade my mother for a thousand dollars.

Love,
Princess Twink

Twinkiebell writes that I am as pretty as a heart, my favorite food is salad, I used to read and she wouldn't trade me for a pet.

I was pretty impressed by the pet thing. They have offered to trade any brother for a pet.
The 14 yo says he wouldn't trade me for $100 but would for $1000.

Ok all your temptresses. I am a facebook'n..... under a completely cool alias being as I don't want any students to giggle if they find me on facebook. However I am completely CLUELESS as what to do next. Someone PM me instructions in small words and tell me how to set you up as "friends" since I don't see "internet stalkers" as an option. ;)

Also don't get excited and start a bunch of scrabbul games just yet. I need to spend less time on the computer not more and I don't want any black marks on my permanent record.

Where is everybody tonight?

I had a fairly sucky day at work. Boss sent out about 8 assignments before he left on Friday, and I got more stuff today. Among them, where do you REALLY expect to finish up expenses this year. Which is a VERY touchy subject. Wish boss was around for that one. Cause there is no way we will meet budget. Even though we pretend for forecast :rolleyes1 I will have to run that one by the GM

Anyway, I pretty much stuck my head in the sand today, and handled none of them......

I put a sub in the oven to heat up (first meal of the day) and forgot to hit the "start" button on the oven, duh! I went to get it out to eat, and it was stone cold! So now I have another 15 minutes to wait.

Ha, Twink! Love the cards! I loved those when the kids were in preschool. One year, the preschool director couldn't wait for me to see that according to Boris, I was fifteen years old and my favorite food was Swedish fish. Another year, Natasha said that I had "stripey color" hair (that'd be my overpriced 'chunky' highlights, which were then promptly eliminated) and my favorite TV show was Jojo's Circus.

I may have started a game with you before I saw this post. :rolleyes1 But don't worry, we'll just go r-e-a-l slow. And if it takes 3 months to finish, it's all good! 'Kay?

Marita, sorry about your day. Eat your sub, get some sleep, and maybe the situation will look less sucky in the morning.

And yeah...where IS everyone tonight?

Hey, anyone here have an AP. I have question.

Can I check in using my AP discount (already booked with it) and show them my voucher, or do I have to present the actual AP?

Our first night will be at POP, so I booked the AP room-only discount.

Hi Steph, sorry, no help from me here, I have no clue.

Cel and I spent most of the day at Hollywood Studios, then boated over to Epcot for dinner at Tangierine Café and saw Davy Jones. Goog show!

We're heading back to the resort shortly. Hopefully they've switched our stuff to a 2 bedroom unit.

Marita, are you able to get away to join us for tea tomorrow?

More updates later . . .

We spent a good part of the last hour before bed playing Disney I Spy.

We pretend we are in WDW and we give out 3 clues to anything for the rest to guess.

It's fun and the kids love it.

I've had an almost migrain most of the day. I felt it about 1:30 this morning and had it evah since. It intensifies when evah it feels like it.

It was a taco salad night.

I followed Lexy's lead and posted pics on the facebook site. Just various pics of us over the last few years.

Have a good night. I got to watch my cheesy reality mtv show finale of The Hills, cause I like that stuff.

Not sure yet, Moo, I have to see how the day goes.
Hope you enjoyed your day!

I totally neglected to comment on all your great mother's day updates today.
I read them surreptitiously at work, and I dont post from work.

Great pics, Rob and Uma. Love the cards Twinkie! Yay on new straightener, Lexi! YAY on saving the baby, Mony! Great job cooking, PJ!
Sorry if I forgot someone. Too late to read all the way back now.

My sum total of gifts and cards = 0. At least DS called to wish me a happy Mother's Day.

I forgot to share (brag) about MY cards!

From all the kids was a recorded card from Hallmark (Walmart) that each of the kids saying "Happy Mother's Day" followed by (get this!) the song, "I don't wanna work, I just wanna bang on the (my?) drum all day" Perfect! Supposedly, it took about 20 tries to get Norah to say it

From Riley a poem/card:

Every mouse
and bumble bee, (with "buzz buzz" written)
Every bird
up in a tree,
Every ladybug
loves to feel his
mother's hug.
Every bear
so fat and funny,
loves his mother
more than honey.

Love, Riley

:cloud9:  :flower3: :lovestruc :cutie:

OK, short rant.

Just watched the finale of the Batchelor. The guy kept going, OH, I can't decide! I love the both!!!!!!!
This is sooooo hard, I can't decide, I can't decide...........

And then 5 minutes later ends up proposing to one after 6 weeks of dating (who is 22, for heaven's sake) to spend the rest of his life with her.

This so totally assinine!

OK, rant over.
