Hey, anyone here have an AP. I have question.

Can I check in using my AP discount (already booked with it) and show them my voucher, or do I have to present the actual AP?

Our first night will be at POP, so I booked the AP room-only discount.

First off - Hi everyone :goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes

Steph - Yes you can check in by showing them your voucher. In all of our trips I can only remember once when I was even asked to show it. If they do ask they may request that sometime before the end of your trip you show the actual AP. But no worries about check in :cool1:

We just booked a return trip to the BC this evening. Nabbed an AP rate for July :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

Update from news:

9 arson fires set around I-95 yesterday, at least 10 homes burned down so far, 3000 acreas in flames. I-95 closed down for many miles.

How close are the fires to WDW.?? Hope you all are having a great night.:wave2:

Hi Cel's mom, the fires are at least 80 miles away, no worries, ok?

I am not loosing sleep over it, and I am 30 miles closer than WDW.

Actually, probably closer to 100 miles from WDW

Good Morning Moovers! I had one of those nights when I couldn't sleep but at least I beat Melinda to the first post! :rotfl2:

GOOD MORNING! :sunny:

Spent last evening at MIL visitation. Funeral today then over to SIL house for a family meal and gathering. I've gotta get busy and throw some food together before I go to work.

Twinkie....I didn't comment on your Mother's Day card. I got a couple of those too. I was excited to be 34 and 100 pounds on DS's card a coupla years ago. When Emily was in kindergarten, she drew a picture of me and I was totally thin although IRL I was 6 months pregnant. :)

Wendy....I love Riley's poem. Soooo sweet. I haven't seen the *recorded cards*. That is definitely a keeper.

Marita
...Sorry about mean, absentee boss man. Eat something!

Monica....Emily likes The Hills too! I can't wait to see your new pictures. Hope your head feels better.

Rob....Just BARELY beat me! You posted while I was posting, mister! But if I had posted a just-to-get-in-before-Rob post I could've beat you!

Celery's mom....It never gets any easier does it? Always worrying about them no matter how old they get.

Moo & Cel....Hope your new 2 BR is fab. Your DHS and Epcot day sounds GREAT! Did you ride Toy Story? How did Davy Jones look? Ancient? I was in love with him when I was 6.

Minnie & Steph.....:wave2:

HAVE A GREAT DAY!

Rob....Just BARELY beat me! You posted while I was posting, mister! But if I had posted a just-to-get-in-before-Rob post I could've beat you!
Whatevah! 16 minutes Lady! :rotfl: But I do believe you about writing your post while I was posting.

 Moovers.

'sup?

I have a meeting at work and then a doctors appt. Thrilling, isn't it?

I did have a good nurses week, Nab. Thanks.

Speaking of nurses, last night I weighed one of our newly birthed and her weight came out on the digital scale as 6 6.6. I had to share that info with a certain someone who is askeered of that number. (the kid was a redhead too. that figures. ha)

twinkister: are you feeling better?

celery: BEHAVE or I will take your smiley out of my signature young lady. don't think I wont.;)

lexi: I read about all that drama in your life. Hang in there.

i gotta meet my goal of smelling nice, so hello to everybody. have a super spectacular day or something of that nature.

I'm being good y'all, I swear!

marita - I know you can't respond cuz you're probably already at work, but tea is at 3:20.
(any stalkers out there wanna join us?)
You have our cell numbers, I think.

We rode toy story mania yesterday it was fun.
We also ate at the brown derby and the cobb salad was the same price as the platter at tangeriene cafe! :confused3 But it was good.
Davy Jones is still cute as a button, he's just an older button now. ;) He's REALLY talented and an expert at taking pictures with the ladies while he's still singing.

these four japanese ladies were HEEELARIOUS! They saw his guitar player before the show and had a fit over him.
One of them was in the bathroom, so she missed the excitement - when she came back and they showed her the picture, she SQUEALED! heehehehehe. :rotfl:
They knew all the words to the songs and sat there swaying back and forth with these little lights.
it was adorable.
Moo tried to take a picture of them, but I don't think it worked.

Morning!

I think the migrain has now downgraded to a tension headache.

On the DEFCON MIGRAIN scale of 1-5, 5 being worse, its a 2.5.

Progress.

Cryers mom dropped her off 10 mins before her needed antibiotic and breathing treatment time. Which was also 10 mins right before I serve breakfast.

Her next treatment is due right in the middle of my lunch time. Figures.

I've been putting Maddy down on her tummy to sleep at night and she sleeps sooooooooooo much better.

Wendy: I like the Host. I'm only a little into it, but I like it.

I went to check facebook to see the twinkster and melinda's pics -- I had a bunch of friend requests.

melinda - your family is so steenkin cute! I love the tinkerbell one -
and then I saw the guy in your raft and I was like "Who in the heck is that guy? Why is he in their raft?"
I forgot your DH met you last September for the later half of your trip. :rotfl:

mony - love your pics too! Maddy looks like such a happy baby! I just wanna pinch her cheeks! :lovestruc

Pics of the day:

Rob- to get credit for Lexy's post of the day, you need to be first AND have cute comments to most everyone proving you didn't skim

Moo- feel better soon!

Cel- You look great! I love the lime green family in the background. Heh. I am enjoying the live updates from WDW.

Mony- I am glad you called that mama. I know how breathing problems can sneak up on you. Also you are a saint for giving breathing treatments to daycare kids. Lots wouldn't.

bbn-last night I ordered 4 hot fudge sundaes and a one blizzard from McD's.... the total was $6.66... the lil' guy kept asking me if I wanted to order something else. Thanks for asking about me. I feel rotten. The baby has this cold too.... and of course when he is congested, he be'urks.

Marita- sorry about all the work drama. I am glad you got to hear from your son again.

Java- I don't know anything about APs. Glad Minnie popped in to help. Hi to you both. :hippie: :hippie:

H guys, :wave2: Just popping in with a funny story/problem I posted on the community board. I usually don't have anything very entertaining to share with you all, but this is sort of cute:

A calico cat occassionally shows up on our property (we have 18 acres) and our own cat, who usually chases away any other cats, has come to tolerate this little girl kitty. She won't let him too close and makes moaning noises if he tries to get within a couple feet of her, but they have sort of a friendship. In the last week I made the mistake of getting her to come out from under porches, outbuildings etc. and make friends with me. Now she's very friendly and loves to see me and have me pet her. I made mistake # 2 of feeding her. After that, she seems to be here pretty much all day every day and she slept on our porch the last few nights. I got tired of calling her "that calico cat" and decided she looks like an "Emily."

I picked up Emily and smelled of her and she smells like a cow barn. Since there is only one proximate cow barn, across the fields behind us, DH and I put her in a kitty carrier and took her there yesterday. We found a hired hand, explained about our guest cat, and pulled the carrier out of the back seat. He took one look and said:

"Yep, That's Stinky!" :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

We let Emily aka Stinky :lmao: out of the carrier and she pranced off to the barn, apparently happy to be home. After a few minutes of chatting with the farm hand, we went home for dinner.

About an hour and a half later DH looks outside and says, "OH NO."

You guessed it. Emily/Stinky was back on our porch. Sigh.

DH wanted to pack her up in the kitty carrier again this morning and take her home, but I figure what's the use? In an hour she'd probably be back.

What do we do now? Any suggestions?

My thought is Stinky Emily adopted YOU. You are now her kitty family officially. The BEST cats are the one's who choose you. Maybe she'll be a useful mouser? Keep her, is my best advice. :flower3:

That is the cutest story, Kay!

Before I go posting this on the community board, does anyone know for sure exactly what the water parks and more option means?

I've had 2 CM's tell me 2 conflicting things and I am so tired of that!

Water Parks and more includes admission to Pleasure Island, Disney Quest and the two water parks.
