Hey pumba! I just thought of something! You're not the oldest on the thread anymore!
My mom posts now and she turned 60 on May 5th -
Love you mom! :rotfl2:

Wow slow day here.....

Did all my errands this morning because the kitchen guy is coming to do some small jobs that were left. He isn't here yet and was suppose to be here at 12:30.

It is getting very humid outside and we have baseball practice tonight.

We are also in for a very humid and hot weekend. In the 90's with the humidex. I will melt selling all my junk this weekend.

Babynurse -- hope you don't have it so humid. Nothing like having your dress stick to you....

Mony-- Your Red Wings won!!! What an exciting ending though.

Celery-- does your mom know you are boardcasting her age here....:lmao:

OH CEL.........I am sooooo happy......I mean Welcome to your mama .......I am Marie glad to meet you......

I just looked and googled eyes again.....maybe I should not do this EVER......to much info is worse then not knowing.....I will be fine cause it is only a ten minute procedure.....and I am not going to worry anymore....GOT IT......:lmao:
Next week is also the Moose permit thingie.....I would love to be able to get another permit and go and bag me a BIG moose.......it is the ultimate for any hunter....let alone a FEMALE hunter.....I was thrilled beyond belief......four of my silver 44 bullets and that thing was MINE....:moped: of course we had our truck and a winch to put it on the trailer.......we are still eating some of my meat......we shared it with six or so families and I gave some away and cooked FOREVER with moose or deer.......it is so darn good:bitelip:

Hi, DTD, good to see you again, I was getting worried you abandond this "herd" (who was it that called us that?)

YAY on a full night's sleep and 2 days off! Any relief in sight for a more regular schedule?

I think that was me...or some other choice simmialr adjative/adverb..whichever...lol

Tim is feeling less pain and can go extra hours between taking his vikes.
It was funny in the hospital cause they'd give him this great pain med through his IV and flush it, so within seconds he'd become "stoned". He'd say some silly stuff and doze off rather quickly. I had it after my 3rd c-section and it's some pretty powerful stuff. Daladin. I'm not sure if that's the right way to spell it, but that's what it sounds like.

His spirits are good. We were on line learning more about this and grading and staging him. So, I guess we are dealing.

We are not 100% sure if it is Cancer. We believe we'll know after the surgery. We were told there's no reason to bring in an Oncologist since the only treatment is surgical. We shouldn't expect any follow up treatments after the surgery. Our apt with them is tomorrow.

It was nice watching the game with him, since the last one was spent at the ER.

Hi Mony, I glad the wings won as well...my grandmother moved to Detriot before I was born and we've always been fans of whatever team they had over the years.
We will be praying for you and Tim :grouphug:

Wow slow day here.....

Maybe there was a BIG DisMeet and the poor slobs posting today were not invited?

Allie, thanks for the airport info, somehow I missed it yesterday.

Mony, glad Tim is doing better, relatively speaking.

So, with Celerymama and Pumba and DTD, that means I am now the FOURTH oldest here! Hey, I find my thrills where I can get them.....

Apologies to Pumba, Celerymama and DTD, I am really not very far behind!

Slight change of plans for Epcot tomorrow. The group is meeting at 9am to go walk over to Soarin' before lunch, but no fast pass run. So I am just meeting them for lunch at LeCellier (filet mignon, baby, for free!) and then see from there. I got backstage parking thanks to our lovely GM"s assistant's connections. Another  for that.

Actually, it's a bad day tomorrow for a team outing, we have lots of stuff to do for Budgets, I have 2 deadlines on Monday, but what the heck! I am not passing up a free filet mignon, that would make me a crazy person.

Filet Mignon... Now that's a good piece of cow!

I think I'm next after you, Wenchy. You're a few months older than me, if memory serves.

Pumba, I am turning 56 in July.

And I am anxiously awaiting your surgery report for cataracts, as I am going to that soonishly. My DR. told me NOT to look up stuff on the internet for that! But I think I have seen that on TV before anyway.
My Dr. said the drugs they give you make it really easy.

I believe...... I believe.... I believe.......

Pumba, this past January I celebrated the 12th anniversary of my 28th year. Heh.

I'm almost the youngest!!!!
Twinks is a *smidge* older than me.
MommyP and Lil L are both younger than me.
I don't think anyone else is younger.
I'm a ripe old 32.

I'm in the middle at 45 I guess....

OK, I give up on canned soups we have at home! We have about 12 gazillion cans of soup (mostly to cook with). DH subscribes to the theory that it is better to have too much than run out, so he buys if he is not sure what we need. (which is why we have 3 16oz bags of shredded Mozarella cheese, unopened).

However, a few years ago, DD decided on a life-style change and got DH wrapped up in that, and now we have ONLY fat-free (not low fat, but fat-FREE) milk at home. And mostly fat-fre or low fat soups and other stuff. So making any kind of soup that calls for milk turns out more like flavored water! So next time I go shopping I am going to look for ready to eat cream soups!
Speaking of food, I had some ready to heat Chef Boyardee Mac & cheese (with real cheese, per the label) for lunch today. Let me just say it was not very satisfactory, flavorless even. So between lunch and dinner today, I should be good to go to enjoy my lunch at LeCellier tomorrow.

There was a Dismeet today. BH and I met at the most redneck bar in Bowling Green for wings and beer. We discussed DL.
Yes, Marita, you are fourth by a tiny bit. I turn 56 in 2 weeks. But don't worry, I like younger women.::yes:: And BH is in his late 40's.
Pumba, 60 is worth celebrating. We have reunions every 5 years and every age decade. Our 40th is in '10. our 60 yo is in '12. At fifty we celebrated half way to 100.
UMA, there is no MToT Party on Monday when we're there, so we bought tix for Tuesday. BH has a Disney Visa so we got them for $25 each. We're gonna come in under budget.
The best chick flick ever is on, The Princess Bride. Best line for me fight now, the evil Prince's even more evil right hand man(with 6 fingers) tells him to get some rest, if you don't have your health you don't have anything.
Where's li'l G lately? We don't need to lose any guys, we're outnumbered badly enough.
:wave2: Nab, Bbn, L(Big and Little) Moo, cel and Mom, Twinkie, Sandy, K&K, (welcome), Allie, and Melinda. And prayers for Mony and Tim.

WOOHOO! I'm 4th! Thanks for checking in,DTD, glad you had a night off with the guys and got some beers! :dance3:

EEK! I looked up airfare to Birmingham tonight. $675 for 3 of us And it's 5 hours+ flight time with layovers. Plus car rental on top of that. !
DH has a Camry Hybrid, so gas would be around $100, unless my math is wrong, which is entirely possible this time of night. So. looks like driving 10 hours each way is in my future! Providing DS makes it of course. I wish the boy would call!!
I guess I will finally finish the Twilight series then! If, the big IF!

Its so good to know I'm not the oldest... just sayin, round these parts, *I* am the oldest... *sigh (that's what happens when you "rob the cradle" and dh is just a year or two... not more than that older...) lol

Speaking of good cow... I went to the store to get some Pop ( soda, coke... for us non caffeine stuff) it was on sale $4.99 a case...

I just wanted to check out the cow sections... hmmm thin sliced strip steaks for $27... on sale for $15.... but I had a 50% OFF coupon!!! i got 7 thin cut strip steaks for $7 BUCKaROONIES!!! :cool1: and DS cooked 'em on the grill!!
