hi gang!
gotta "bee" sneaky, the lil'sweetie is on a cleaning binge, & whoever
she catches..are put to work-

,
we're gettting ready to cruise , well @ least i am thinking about it.
want to share some positive things. what made me feel good about
putting that idiot in his proper place-jail. well i set out a motion
sensor camera. just in one week, it took almost 100 pictures.
[ raccoon, many deer, snakes, squirrels, skunk, turkey & even a
bunny]. this is just a small area, but it showed how important
an wildlife area can be.
then @ work, sometimes you don't realized how important "you are"
until something happen. we had this mean, drug seeking , abuser.
he was trying to get more drugs & escaped legal charges from beating
a person in his town. he was verbal abusing the other rn [female}
so i had to redirect. he responded by unleashing his abuse toward
me. however, he made the mistake of doing it in front of the
other pts.. we almost had a near riot.{ if you was there, & saw how
he was, it would be self evident.} we had to get security in order
to protect him. of course, he threaten them. the next day, the staff
told us , all the pts. got together and made "it clear" to him that they
won't tolerate his abuse to the staff [ us] liked that again. funny, he
has changed completely. it's called peer pressure ,and it can help prevent
dangerous acting out when some have low-self control.
* note, this is a person who thinks he has the right to physical harm
others, and is willing to do it, in order to get drugs. a few years ago,
they accepted a similar person. he made a shank & attempted to
killed all of us ..not to escape but to get drugs. i was the only male
staff & we had to disarmed him. the chief lost his job.
fyi, our job is high risk, in an area most cannot imagined. the system
is faulted and there are dangerous persons taking advantage.
in this situation, the pts. saw the threat and they were impressive how
protective they were of the staff. however, this situation should have
been addressed by those in the authority positions because without
proper followup, the person will resume hurting others. but for us, we
were amazed how the ward "rally" around the health-care providers,
illustrating they valued our services.
oh, ohio law, are wanting to changed nursing programs. i guess they
are realizing there's a big gap in today nurses & the past. trust me,
many programs are "failing" in too many critical areas. there isn't any
excuse, not being able to get the basics right.
hope everyone here's healthy! things are going great for us. did
i mentioned i can retire any time i want?
so who's watching football?
