My camera comes today! Can't wait! I just hope I'm not disappointed. lol. I fiddled with all the point and shoot cameras at Best Buy and hated them all. The flash was over exposed and every single picture I tried to take of Isaac was blurry. I never remember getting blurry or over exposed pictures with my Panasonic. So I bought another even though I wasn't able to play with it at a store first.

The only time I've ever received PIN codes was while we were unemployed and unable to go to Disney no matter how good the deal.

MP, exactly the same way we would get a code.

Like the other day I get a 40 percent off our sneakers at reebok......but of course hubby and I already got ours two weeks ago.....go figure.

Hope you all have a great day

What beautiful and stunning Mooovin babies! Consider them all pinched, squeezed, hugged and doted on by EVERYBODEE's favorite babynurse.

I also received the pin code for the free dining thingy. Our very first one, but it doesn't look like there will be a family trip to WDW this year. 3 of the nurses at work are trying to get me to go on a long weekend trip with them. But idk. Money, time, and of course going sans kiddos are all factors.

I am not trying to one up Cat Lady (pssst. that's you Lynette. heh) in the busy department. But I will say out of eleven days, I have only had ONE off. And that one was busy running Miracle Boy to the eye doctor.

You see Miracle Boy survived another miracle this weekend. He was up to bat for his high school baseball game and decided the best place to take the pitch would be in his EYE! He fell to the ground and lost consciousness. We spent most of Saturday evening/night in the emergency room. Only bruising on his brain. no bleeding and no fractures. YAY!

Life is crazy. I will try to check in again soon!!:)

please tell your son that we are thinking of him......poor thing...

Ouch, I think you should put that one in a plastic bubble.

Our baseball people are selling helmets with a cage on the front. We had a helmet so thought this wasn't needed . Maybe I should rethink that now.

Moo-- I really want one of the yellow team to go home. For some reason they are getting on my nerves. Especially when he won the car and he said it was for and she looked at the camera when in the car and said Thank you daddy. I felt bad that the others only had themselves to win the car and she had two her and her father. I am sure if Koli or Sam won they would keep the car. They need to break up the teams soon.

Busy day today. Wednesdays are swimming days again only they are not right after one another ,so we have an hour and half between but it is in the next town so we don't go home. Makes for a long night .

Yikes, BBN, glad DS is OK.
I was tired as heck tonight, fell asleep sitting on the couch

MP, hope your camera works out for you!

Pillsbury was kind enough to send me the recipe for the million dollar recepice winner (below). Anyone going to try it? My money is on Lynt (after vacation) and NAB.

INGREDIENTS
1package (16 oz) Pillsbury® Ready to Bake!™ refrigerated sugar cookies (24 cookies)
4teaspoons sugar
1/3cup Fisher® Chef’s Naturals® Chopped Walnuts, finely chopped
1/2cup Hershey’s® semi-sweet chocolate baking chips
1/4cup Smucker’s® Seedless Red Raspberry Jam
1 1/2cups vanilla bean ice cream, softened24fresh raspberries

DIRECTIONS
1.Heat oven to 350°F. Spray 24 mini muffin cups with Crisco® Original No-Stick Cooking Spray. Place 1 cookie dough round in each muffin cup. Bake 15 to 20 minutes or until golden brown.

2.Place 2 teaspoons of the sugar in small bowl. Dip end of wooden spoon handle in sugar; carefully press into center of each cookie to make 1-inch-wide indentation. Cool completely in pan, about 20 minutes.

3.Meanwhile, in small bowl, mix walnuts and remaining 2 teaspoons sugar; set aside. In small microwavable bowl, microwave chocolate chips uncovered on High 30 to 60 seconds, stirring after 30 seconds, until smooth.

4.Run knife around edges of cups to loosen; gently remove from pan. Dip rim of each cup into melted chocolate, then into walnut mixture. Place walnut side up on cookie sheet with sides.

GOOOOOOOOOOOG morning everyone.........

Today the sun is shining but not sure what the temps will be. yesterday was a mite chilly ...but I did manage to take Ava out and let her run around in the back fenced in yard......she can really move even with alot of grass (which hubby will mow this weekend) under her feet.......Usually we dont have to mow until the middle of May.....what gives with this green stuff that is growing like mad and the clover that got mixed up in the batch of grass seed.

Sunday I guess everyone will come here and we will celebrate our granddaughters 4th birthday .......I cant believe she is already 4.......Owen will be 6 in June and Nathan would of been 7 this past March....we think of Nathan often and know that we would of loved him forever and ever.

I woke up early today and just finished my coffee and my egg McPumba.....I cook an english muffin in the toaster......while that is cooking I thaw a small tiny sausage in the microwave in water....drain the water and cut it up ...add one egg whipped in it.....when the muffin is cooked I put the bowl of egg and sausage on for 40 secs in the microwave and put a slice of cheese on the muffin....take the egg out and put one half on each side of the muffin and then close it up and cut in half.....so it is good for us diabetics for a breakfast...it has just enough carbs and protein and calcium for this ol' lady

Hmm......sounds interesting, Marita! :thumbsup2 What's this concoction called? When I cook, I feel the need to name things. Makes me feel all Lidia Bastianich!

I may try that one before my vacation since (sadly) it's still 88 days away. (Who's counting? :confused3 ;)) May need to substitute pecans for the walnuts though. Mr. Lalijack says that walnuts are to nuts what Spam is to meat.

Boris and Natasha are on break from school next week (yes, again!), so I took next Friday off from work to do something fun with them. Maybe we can try that recipe then.

My online sales continue to do well, thankfully. I'm up a total of $190! Can I get a w00t and one of these guys-->?!?!?!?

BabyN - Scary. I hate when one of the kids gets hurt or sick. So scary. Glad he's okay!

LOVE the camera! It's exactely what I remember of my last panasonic only with more zoom and a higher megapixel.

Haven't tried out the HD video yet though. Here are some pictures I got of Ellie yesterday.

It's called "Mini Ice Cream Cookie Cups". You might want to come up with a shorter name though. Here is a link with a picture:

w00t  for your internet sales!

MP, great pictures and beautiful baby!

Mommy P-- I love Ella's blue eyes and those cheeks , could just eat her up. I am surprised she keeps that hat on her head. My kids hated hats.

Marita-- Love the recipe, the picture really helped to see what they look like when done. I will have to try that one.

It was like summer here today.

Spent the day cleaning out some of the garage. Not even have done because we only did it until the truck was full for the dump. We had two old tvs , Hannah's old bike and an old sun shelter etc. I did not want to spend the whole day doing this.

We checked on the trailer and found out that we have a flat tire on it and the fire alarm batteries were dying so it was just a beeping. Hubby wants to get all new tires before we go away in the summer. He will have to work more overtime, great.

bbn - Hope your son mends quickly. Ouch!

Nabbie - I really think O'Neal is the next one to go. As far as him telling Sunshine that that car was hers, I could totally see my hubby doing the same thing with Mari so I kind of understood that. What shocked me was that Suze Orman predicted Koli or Sunshine would win -- I think Daris still has the highest percentage.

Lynette - w00t!!! My hubby has taken the plunge and has stuff listed on e-Bay.

MommyP - More cute photos! Nice :)

Marita - That recipe sounds yummy, but it's not something I can have. Last night I cut up some strawberries and ate them with some lite Cool Whip on top and thought that was heavenly!!!

Pumba - It was super nice here today. Our grass has been growing like crazy too. I got out during lunch for a half hour walk and went downtown and got a Jimmy John's Unwich (lettuce wrapped sandwich). Do you have that chain up there in Maine? It's still relatively new here in Michigan. Good way to reduce the carbs.

I thought I would have to take off tomorrow tonight.

The dog wanted out, so on his way to the door, his legs just gave out, his hind leg was straight out in front of him. I tried to coax him up, lift him up (no way with his 80+ lbs), so I finally woke up poor hubby who has to get up 2 am. He gets up, says "Woody, do you want to go out?" He struggles a bit, but gets up and out. I just can't do anything right anymore, it seems. :upsidedow

For dinner tonight, I cut up a chunck of Kielbasa, fried it and put it on ha toasted chicago roll. Probably not the healthiest choice, but it hit the spot and was a change from the same old prosciutto and cheese.

Thank God tomorrow is Friday! :cool1:

Mommy P-- I love Ella's blue eyes and those cheeks , could just eat her up. I am surprised she keeps that hat on her head. My kids hated hats.

I've been putting headbands on her from pretty much a couple days old. She been wearing hats since December. Every time we go somewhere she wears one and lots of days at home too. She never takes them off. I am so thankful. :thumbsup2

MommyP: That camera takes amazing photos! Love her beautiful blue eyes!!!

Lynt: Did you need a smiley? Consider it done.

Moo: Haven't we talked about mushroom hunting before? We are starting to find some in this part of the country. They are sooooo yummy.

Gang: Thanks for the well wishes for Miracle Boy. He is doing quite well. One more follow up visit to the eye doctor next week to make sure his retina didn't do something funky and we are out of the woods.

Tomorrow is the annual kickoff of the Kentucky Derby festival. We might go to the river bank with 800,000 other people to watch the air show and the largest fireworks display in North America. The boys are begging to go. I hate the crowd. BUT there is lots of good food to eat....

howdy partners.

Tonight we went to dinner with our dil and two muchkins......our son had to go to the main office of his company in NC .....he wont be home until one am ...so we had a nice time, until O asked me why would i want to eat that poor little frog legs.....laughed so hard.......but he didnt try it but I had my fill....havent had frog legs since we used to go frogging....a fish pole with a hook and a piece of red flannel....hit those suckers on the head and cut off the legs...

bbn - Yes, we have talked about mushrooms before! My cousins usually have pretty good luck. One of them is trying to find some people who have wooded property who will let her hunt for morels. On the Michigan Department of Natural Resources and Environment's FB page yesterday, people were reporting that they were finding them early this year. It was SO gorgeous yesterday. Today, not so much, because the wind really picked up and a cold front arrived this evening. But I did manage to get out during afternoon break for a walk with a friend before it got too chilly.

Your Kentucky Derby Festival sounds like lots of fun :goodvibes

Marita - Hope you had a great Friday!!!

Pumba - Less than six weeks until our trip to North and South Carolina! Your WDW trip will be here before you know it :cool1:

okey its snowing......doesnt Mother Nature know that snow and our blossoms on our lilacs do not mix.....what about the pear tree blossoms...we need some fuzzy bumble bees or else hubby will have to go and do the pollenating himself.

20 days and counting..yes I am ready and so are the kiddos.....

shoot still spelt it wrong.

I just got back from helping my neighbor hold trash bags open to get rid of CRAP so the demolishing guy can come and get rid of her garage......YES IT IS COMING DOWN.....she found boxes of tupperware that has not been open yet....she earned it I guess for having tupperware shows......and then pampered chef items.....and those baskets that you need to sell your first born to buy....I said Sonia.....what gives......you buy stuff and then dont use it....

Well hubby and I gave an offer for a place......and they accepted and we close in two weeks......it is wicked exciting.......I am wicked excited......we did this via email sight unseen......my sister checked it out and her husband then went and checked out the rest of it.....I am wicked excited can you tell
