Hi MP. thanks for that. I did a friend request and got accepted (thanks!), but I can't find the pics. Can you send a link? Wouldnt want to miss your chickens!

I had a fairly productive day, some work, some housework. Have to go fold some more laundry now. For once, I did NOT have a left over sock :thumbsup2 I don't know how that happens with only an old man in the house :confused3 Don't tell hubby I said that...... and still need to vacuum, but that may have to wait til tomorrow.

Mommy P -- wouldn't it be easier just to post them here? :confused3 I really don't go to my facebook to often.

Pumba -- your right , live is too short and the older we get them more I notice the months, even years go by.

Hubby's birthday is on Monday so I am teasing him he will be a year older then I. But really it is only a month and two days, but if someone asked we don't count in months so for this next month he is a year older. :lmao:

I barely watched any Olympics today we went out instead. The weather was beautiful , 4 above 0 I will take that in the winter any day.

Nab, 4 above 0???????? YIKES!! Finally got back to 68 here. I had to make a wine run, but other than that I didn't go out. I might go for a pedicure tomorrow....

Waiting for the last batch of laundry to dry and then fold. Yuck! Good thing is, with just 2 people, I dont have to do it every week. Work clothes need be washed tomorrow. I have been wearing the same 4 sweaters for weeks with this cold weather, but we get a break for 3 days, then right back to the turtlenecks..:headache:

Well Marita that is about 37 F for you. We are sitting at 28 F right now.

I get to wash twice a week usually. That is not too bad. I just wish the kids would not turn clothes have inside out or leave there underwear and sock stuck inside the pants. :sad2:

I guess I should be heading to bed....church in the morning.

My computer just died on me, totally freaked me out! I went all black and gave weird messages. But it appears it recovered. Just hope ot doesnt keep happening like last time when I had to call my new best friends in India!

Marita - I put the link on your FB wall.

Nab - There is a whole album of pics already captioned and I don't have the time to move pics over. lol. It's so much easier to upload to FB than to copy and past a zillion links to here. I sent you a PM.

:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2: new best from India.

Mommy P-- I checked out your pics. That it was funy you were building it at night with headlights on. Love the frizzle chicken with his feathers all ruffled.

Today is even suppose to be nicer then yesterday. :woohoo: Have to take the kids out to get their dad a birthday gift.

Have a great Sunday Everyone!!!

Thanks for the link, MP, That is one fine chicken coop!

I went to be at 2am last night and woke up at 9 and no nap :scared1: This can't be good!

I work most of the day again, grrr. DS asked if had a video camera installed to record it, since if I am not in the office, it doesn't count!

He also sent some pics of his house, interior, looks very comfy :) He got a sleigh bed with a very nice comforter, he just needs a girl to go with it

Talked to my mom today, she said sometimes the old folks in the home get in fights. She just sits back and enjoys it, LOL. My dad would be 101 this week if he were still alive, but he died in 1981.

I really need to figure out what I want to do in retirement. Any ideas? Preferably something that earns money.....

Well, off to hang up work clothes from the dryer, make coffee and get something to eat. Oh, and curl hair, yuck!
Then Olympics.

Since we haven't had any crazy babynames lately from elisabeth, I thought I'd contribute.

Posted by one of my friends on facebook:
Pretty much the best day ever...it was so nice out Maisie had her lunch bottle on the porch swing, the windows are still open so we can hear the rain, and we overheard a lady at Target talking about her son Anakin. ARE YOU EVEN SERIOUS?

My response:
"Yes, son, I named you after one of the most famous villains ever. Now be nice to your sister Jezebel!"

Cel - LOL

Finished painting the gate for the chicken run and painted the little latter thing for them to get in and out of the coop. We also put up the barbbed wire along the top of the fence to help with climbing preditors(like our cats, one of which has already tried twice to scale the fence) We got a ton of the wire for free because the neighbor kids brought it to the lot near the house for a fort they have since abandoned. lol.

morning my friends. I think we may be getting rid of the grass and get that dreaded white stuff. Megara likes to run crazy in the back yard...be it grass or be it (yuck) Mud or SNOW......hahaha...

Today my DIL and I are going SHOPPING....I will forego the walking at the local mall and make up for it tomorrow. Dil is making some sun dresses for Megan ...The material that was on clearance was the elastic type top and the bottom designed....so she has to go up the back and make some straps. She also got some other fabric to try to do the same thing and a pattern too. We are on a roll....70ish something to go to warm weather (hopefully) and sun (hopefully)...I tried on my bathing suit and for some reason .....IT FITS alot better then last fall. Maybe my diet is working and I havent notice it. Maybe just MAYBE the added stuff is moving around to other places .....and making bathing suits fit better.....we shall see......we shall see.

Hope you all have a Fantastic day and I will see you all later.

I would like to see the chicken coop too....and the chickens......I asked hubby if we could have the allotted three for the city....and he said....MEGARA would have a field day....hahaha...

Megara could be a chicken herder! Ha!

I'm off to New Orleans today and I can't find my gps. Grrrr. I hate driving with regular maps or directions. and if I get lost, they can't get me back on track!

Celery-- hope you found you gps. Wouldn't want you to get lost. I am pretty good with a map though. I have to navigate when we go away in the summer. Mind you to do that and drive not a good idea. We see that all the time, map up on the steering wheel trying to read it and drive.

I did a lot of running around this morning because they said a snow storm is heading our way this afternoon. Isn't here yet.

Anyway I had to take back a key I got cut for hubby for his birthday. It is our house key. He got me a Winnie the Pooh one for me at Christmas so I wanted him to have the Mickey mouse one. Long story short I got it recut today brought it home , still doesn't work in the door. I will have to give it too him and tell him we have to fix it. The mall isn't that close.

Spent the rest of the day making apple pie instead of a cake or giant cookie for his birthday. He asked me last night if I was going to make a white cake since Hannah gave up chocolate. I know I am the only one that likes white cake in family and Hubby really likes pie better so why not. I bought little candles that spell out Happy Birthday that I will put on top. Having said that I hate baking pies, my kitchen is a wreck and they never look as pretty as my mom's.

Pumba-- How was your shopping trip. Did you buy anything for you.

Marita-- I would probably be like your mom and sit back and watch. I love to people watch in the mall too. To bad about the overtime you work and don't get paid for. You would be rich by now if you did.

Hello? Hello? Is this thing on???

Heh. Sorry I was missingish. New baby, terrible cold, yada yada yada. Now for the news.

My teenager is taking drivers ed. This means I have to DRIVE him (with allllll the other children in tow) to and from school every evening. WHY did we wait for the 10th snowiest winter in prairie recorded history to do this???? Also he is busy. Probably texting the Pope since he told me he NEEDs 1000 texts per month just to exist.

The twinkie twins are also busy. Birthday party season has been going strong since Christmas. I am going broke buying bakugan and littlest pet shops and whatchmacallists. Ok. So I made the last one up. I bet someone else will make a million dollars making them collectible. I am a terrible (aka busy) mother and have yet to throw them a birthday party. However I have no clue when we will have time. Or energy. Also elemetary school continues to be a riot. They rocked the parent teacher conferences (child led, complete with Power Point Presentations, clip art and fancy shmancy fonts) despite the fact that I forgot to send in Bird Nest Fixings. Yep my deer friends. For some reason (maybe the Peej can explain?) my second graders had to build their own AUTHENTIC bird nests out of actual bird next ingredients (did I mention the ground has been covered with snow for months now?). Which I forgot to send. MOooving on.

Goldenchild adores the baby. The only thing he likes more than holding her is playing the Wii (did I mention that Santa brought one?). He is abnormallly gifted at dog fighting and sword fighting. Go figure. He even beats his teen brother who insists that the game is broken. Heh.

Grasshopper seems so old and grown up now that we have a real baby around. He is enjoying the olympics. After watching a side by side triple lutz he looked at me and said, quizzically "I can't do that."

The Princess is delightful. She looks just like all her brothers and sisters only fatter. Seriously this is the fattest baby I have ever had. She was 10 lbs 1 oz today at her 1 month check up. I am pretty sure the twins were 4 months old before they hit 10 lbs. She is a good baby.

If Mommy Poppins has any spare time after building the barn, I think I need a pink sling to carry this dumpling around :cutie:

NAB, I am sorry the USA beat Canada at hockey last night. No I am not. I am just being polite. Did you see the YAHOO article about how the Canadians trash talk? "Go Canada". It is funny because it is true. Y'all are so polite. Eh.

I do think of WHEAT THINs every time they play the Canadian National Anthem.

Thank you all for your kind wishes and welcomes for the Princess:cutie: You are the best imaginary friends!

Twinkie!! Hope you took a nap after all that .....:lmao:

Yeah , Yeah rub it in. We will win the next one. It was an exciting game that is for sure. Got everyone talking.

Since the baby is getting bigger as we speak, we need another picture of her before she turns 1 because you know you will blink and she is. :lmao:

Our streak of no snow has ended. It is snowing pretty good out there right now. Shovel it, fills right back in. Kids are hoping for a snow day but I don't think that will happen, well at least I hope not.

Yay for Twinkie Family news! "They" say that the work of having a child goes up exponentially after the first one. Not that I would know from personal experience! Once you get over the shock of driver's training and practice driving and your DS actually has his license, you're gonna love it. I guarantee it!

MommyP - The chickens are cute. Hope your neighbors don't mind being woken up by a rooster crowing!

Nabbie - We got lots of snow today. About half a foot worth. Yuck. Happy Birthday to your hubby!!!

Pumba - Hmmm, I wonder if you're getting the snow front that moved through Michigan. I noticed while driving home that its done a number on the pine trees. I saw a couple that were broken off from the weight of the snow.

I threw a pot roast and some vegetables in the crock pot this morning and came home to a delightful smelling and tasting dinner (even though I forgot to put celery in and the potatoes were very well done) :) Easy peasy. I must do that more often.

In other Moo news, DD tells us that she started seeing someone recently (met him on-line). She called last night and sounded very happy. Not many details as of yet, but he sounds like a nice guy.

KIds, babies, and chickens.....you guys are keeping me busy in the reading. We are in for rain/snow from tomorrow into Wednesday into Thursday.....I hate this ...but you guys knew that already.....
Baby weight got me to thinking......when our first child was born he weighed in at 7lbs 3 ounces and at his six week checkup he tipped the scales at 12 lbs and none of his clothes fit....He was a horse.....but now he is a tall lean 40 year old.....yesterday was my Dil's birthday and this coming Saturday is my daughters....So Our granddaughter is coming home for a two week break from classes and we will have a turkey dinner on Sunday.....Just have to remember to take the BIRD out of the freezer...I love to feed the troops and have a feast .....it is the best.

Kids have been outside playing in the snow since they came home from school. Only came in to eat supper. They are happy campers.

Moo-- can't imagine what it would be like when the kids start to "date" and actually bring someone home. Never thought of putting a roast in a crock pot. That would be good because we are always out and I never get to put something in the oven because you have to stay home to babysit it.

Speaking of baby weight Nicholas was about the size of Twinkie's baby at 1 month..... went to a mom and me at the hospital after I had him and they weighted them each week. They couldn't wait to see how much he weighted every week. But like Pumba said he has got tall and skinny now.
