goog morning everyone.

Well Ms. Toots woke us up at six thirty and thought she would go out and do her thing and then get her FOOD.....but she cant have anything at all. Tell that to a dog.....THIS IS A FASTING BLOOD TEST DOGGIE........hahaha.......she followed me around as I ate mine......tried to do it quietly and secretly....but heck she has a good nose..

The sun is out and the house is warm........BUT it is only 1 outside......yah its cold.

I agree Nab, anyone who got our snow .....please keep it and do not return to sender......hahaha....

Last night had to go back out to the store and get arm and hammer det. for the clothes and they only sell the scent free and perfume free at one store. So we had to go and get it. We also get the scent free fabric softener too.......I have smelled some and omg that is so strong it makes me gag....wish there was one that smelled like a baby so soft and sweet....but no.....all the stinks are stinky...

sun is on my monitor now so I will see you when the sun goes behind the other side of the living room windows......bye bye

Pumba -- good luck with the doggie tests. Buddy our cat wants food in the morning too even if his bowl is full. We go up and show him it is full ,he think we should stand and watch him eat I guess. :confused3

It is -4 F out there now and not going much above 0 today so I think I will stay in and get some house work done. Nicholas has projects to do to so I will have to crack my whip too.....will a least unplug all electronics until he gets some done.

Hubby is working today and Hannah is going on a playdate. So it should be a quiet day. Better get cracking....

Megara passed her thyroid test so she will stay on this dosage of her levathyroxin for six months and then have another blood test..
She also has more antibiotics for her on going ear problem and also some stuff we will attempt to put in her ear...we will go and get a muzzle to see if we can do this ..she is not a happy camper when we touch her ears or toes........
She did have a pedicure today too....took a few to hold her down.....she got her breakfast at eleven thirty....gave her a treat too..

It is still wicked cold here. Didnt stay out long when she came home either. Sort of squat and run....

Hope we all have a warmer day tomorrow...wishing us all warm weather....

Pumba, yay for Megara passing the test.

It's 78 here today, but gray and overcast, down to 64 tomorrow. What's up with that?????????

I really need to do some work this weekend, been avoiding it like the plague so far for 3 days, but big meeting on Wednesday to get ready for HUGE meeting with directors and VP's next week, and next week is forecast, no time then, so I really need to get going on it. BLECH!

Also need to go get some wine, that's a 1/2 hour trip, grrrrrrr. And make dinner, chicken a la king today, I think, that's very good and not too difficult. I need a manicure, nails are getting too long again, but BLECH to that too, it's a looooong, boring hour that I dont want to do!
I'm not sounding very upbeat here, huh? :lmao:

I have noticed a trend for Saturdays lately. We can have lovely (if cold) sunny days all week, but invariably weekends are dreary. What's up with that? It just makes me want to stay home.
OK, better get my butt moving here and get the wine purchase over with to restock my wine cellar (aka trunk of my car)

ETA a few hours later: "wine cellar" is restocked. Tried to get a snack of McD fries. but their register was offline, and I didnt want to go inside. so I decided to see if I could get in for a haircut instead (not at McD's). Got about 2 inches cut off without a wait, made dinner, took a short nap. Now I have to empty dishwasher and reload, fun!! I need a maid!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Successfully avoided the work project I absolutly have to work on. Tomorrow is another day...

Pumba - Glad Megara is doing OK! Our pups want their breakfast first thing in the morning too.

Marita - I've got a big project going on at work next week too. I finally made some decent progress on it toward the end of this past week.

I'm pretty pooped tonight. Went to work out this afternoon instead of last night so we could go to a surprise birthday party for my BIL and I got done pretty fast, so my trainer had me do five sets instead of four. Whew! I've been too tired to work out using the Wii lately, but I may try to do that tomorrow. 135 lbs gone as of today. My weight will probably bounce around for a few days though.

Earlier this week, we got a new counter height table for our kitchen and hubby cleared off the old table and set the new one up. The kitchen looked pretty bad with the brand spankin' new table, so I decluttered and scrubbed the counters, wiped down the cupboards and stove, and mopped the floor. We have stools now instead of chairs and ended up putting the microwave on the new table to make more space on the counters, so it looks pretty different.

I bought some chicken tenders yesterday and need to figure out something to make with them tomorrow, so I'm off to look for a recipe.

Moo. gee, you exhausted me just reading this! Congrats on another 5 lbs :thumbsup2

Chicken recipe: 1 lb breast, 3 tbsp butter/marg, 3 tbsp flour, add milk (use judgement, maybe 1 cup), salt, nutmeg, jar of pimentoes, 1 can of tender peas, 1-2 cans of mushrooms.
Heat, stir, serve on toast. Yummy an easy and not fattening.

PS: Cook chicken in microwave first and pull into small pieces, then add to the sauce

Hmmm, Marita - I'm not a fan of pimientos, but I could probably make it without. I do have mushrooms and frozen peas in the house. I'll have to see what I can throw together tomorrow. I was looking at a recipe for chicken cacciatore.

I'm heading to work and don't have lots of time, but wanted to say that you look great Moo!!! I can't believe how much weight you've lost. Keep up the good work.

You can join Nicholas , I took him screaming and kicking to the desk to finish his three projects, one is already late. :sad2: We both said we would never be late on a project and a teacher called home about it too. Just don't know what to do with this boy. He was never like that until this year. I did tell him if he doesn't get the one done he can't watch the Grammy's tonight that should get him moving.

Good luck Marita.

Now to get to the wash ....:laundy:

LOL, Nab, Nicholas and I are in the same boat. I think puberty happened to him. I was lazy as all get out at that age, just reading romance novels and hanging out with friends (or maybe that came a bit later). I tried finding data back from 2007, not having any luck though. Dang, I dont want to do this!!

Grammies! I think I will actually watch tonight. Makes we wonder if kids today what "grammies" stand for? Do they even know what a Gramophone is/was?

Have to do a hair restoration today, to use Pumba's term, LOL. Another thing I dont want to do.I need to get nails done too, but I am drawing the line on that, not today!

The Dis is doing it again, won't let me go past the current page I'm on! :confused3

Nab - How old is Nicholas? Boys turn into aliens when they enter middle school. ::yes:: They become halfway decent in high school, and I hear they are a real gem in College.(I'll let you know ;) )

CEL - I'm jealous! All we got was ice, and it was a mess! Although it's pretty and sunshiney today. :)

Moo - Thanks for the well wishes, I think they worked. Feeling much better today. It was a week ago today that the crud started. Must have been an old fashioned cold. Prolly from one of my germ monsters. :rolleyes1 There were quite a few of them missing from school this week. :confused3 Oh, and you look FABULOUS!!! :goodvibes

Sandy - So did DH get laid off from his 3 day old job?

Marita-- the page was doing that to me too. :confused3

Allie -- Nicholas is 12 going on 18 apparently.

This seems like the longest day ever. Not sure why. I guess that means I am not doing enough.

hello..
One point for animal owners.....do not give antibiotics without a buffer in the doggies bellies......she sort of gave me back all of her food and pills this morning.......didnt think the carpet needed a wash but it sure did afterwards..so I gave her the two antibiotics a few after her supper and she was acting like she was going to be sick again......but we stroked her and held her and talked to her and she is sleeping right now.....hopefully she will keep those pills down and we wont be giving her anymore......Her ear will have to do with the antibitocs in her ear meds.....

so tomorrow my dear friends is February 1st......can you believe it......time sure flies when one is OLD.........hahaha....

tomorrow my two grandkids will be coming to spend the day with me......no school for O as it is a teachers workshop.....and M is just happy to come and visit anytime..

have a good night and MARITA........relax....all of your data will be someplace....you will find it later.

Marita-- thanks for the link to the dress. Lady Gaga always dresses strange. Her first first outfit with Elton John was cut up to...well you know. :scared1:

My kids know must of this music, I know some only because of them. I am sending them off to bed now. I promised to record the rest for them to watch in the morning. If they get up that is ....I am heading there too.

The kids are watching the last part of the Grammies while eating breakfast. Boy there are a lot of commericals.

Another cold day here....the kids can wear a team Jersey today. Hannah is wearing a Mickey Mouse Baseball one Nicholas out grow. Nicholas was going to wear his baseball one from team last year but decided not to because he thinks everyone will have a hockey one and he does have one of those. :confused3 I'm not pushing it. All the money they make this week is going to Haiti.

right behind ya nab.

Today got up early to do the morning trash......and take a shower and wait for the munchkins to arrive which is right now.....Bye

we had a great day. Megan was so sweet and we had to play with the babies today......you know lay them down on the blanket and then tuck them in and then read them a story......O on the other hand was busy reading and then playing on the rug rat computer..We had lunch and then he showed me how to play some of his wii games.....YIKES....pretty bad when he is telling me how to do stuff.
Hubby went to the store when he got home from work and bought us some red hot dogs and buns.....so I made a quick salad and had fries with it.......I love red hot dogs..delicious....

put a sweater on cause it is getting CHILLY out again....makes the house cold even though we have it up to 72.......I like seventy two..

Hope you all had a great day
