My days are too long and my nights are too short.

Kids invasion in 25 minutes. I counted 12, yikes! My poor house.

Put a load in, took a load out, and started another. Hate laundry.

Washed the upteen cups I will need today. My boys had all the dirty dishes in the dishwasher but it wasn't full enough to run.

Extended the table to fit all the munchkins, the highchair is nearby for Maddy since I need all the chairs today for the bigger ones. I'll have to serve in shifts.

Looks somewhat cloudy and I can feel the humidity. Hope we are not stuck in the house.

Yesterday woke up to storms. Then it got hot and stickey around 90.

Malorie has dance rehearsal again tonight, and then we will go cheer on the neighbor's team in the little league finals. If Zack's team wins tomorrow, the final game could be between Zack and his best buddy.

Then I have to fit in finishing typing my papers and continuing my reading for a final. I hope at some point there is room for sleep.

congratulations on the new position Allie......this is wonderful news to wait for....

Marita......I always tell Megara to take care of the house when we leave and go someplace ....The animals are good security people....

Minni Moo...the kids got me that board with the mouthy animation....geesh...yah think they thought I may need it or something.....hahaha.......I think I may get that dance one though.....I could dance around the house better then trying to figure out which foot goes where........another GEESH..

It is raining this morning and I could not encourage you know who to go potty....its a little rain.......thats all.....will wait for it to slow down and then I will shove her out........big baby..

Hope you all have a great day

Marita-- I know what you mean about people liking to be out in the open during a storm. People are suppose to stay away from the windows too but you just can't help looking at what is going on durning a storm. Human nature. That being said I would be in where it is safe that is for sure.

Pumba -- we have a wii board too but I don't use it at all. The kids love it though. I might have been on three times. Don't that darn hoop game. Can't do the soccer ball head thing at all...

Moo-- glad you checked in. A boat ride down the river....better then sitting in an office I am sure.

Mony-- you made me tired just reading your post. Hope you get outside too with that many kids in your house.

We had rain yesterday but the sun came out after supper and made it really humid. So we are in for a hot day here. So I am off to the mall for air conditioning , have to find a wedding gift for my nephew who is getting married in a few weeks.

Hello, y'all! I'm posting from work, since Crazybossman is out for a while. He's driving me kooky bonkers today.

Moo and Pumba, I have a Wii Fit w/the balance board too. I like the Wii Fit trainer lady, cuz she says my Wii Fit age is 23! I think I might just make her my new BFF! :rotfl:

Allie, congrats on your new job and the new pup! So exciting!

Okay, gotta get back to the grind. See ya later!

The first wave of storms came through. I did take the kids out, but we were ATTACKED by mosquitos. No thank you!

They are calling for severe storms with hail in a little while. we just bunkered down with Enchanted.

Made taco bake. I took ground beef, browned it with taco bell seasoning packet.

I took some Pillsbury crescent roll dough and rolled it out into one piece and laid it in a rectangle pan.

Baked for 12 minutes. It was nice and brown at 400 degress.

Layered that with the cooked meat. Then shredded cheese, then chopped lettuce from the garden, then diced tomatos. Yummy! All the kids liked it. If I were making it for just tim and I, I might have added olives and onions.

Boys back to being grounded for physically fighting. I warned them, I guess they didn't believe me. I'm thinking they might get the hint.

I take the video games away from Memorial Day to Labor Day. And sometimes I will give them a freeby and let them play. Today was one of those days with the rain, but, nope, they had to get into it and ruined that.

There was a problem with the cap in the gulf and they had to take it off for maintenance. Makes me so steaming mad! WHY CAN'T THEY FIX THIS ALREADY???? I'm reading that it might take as long as September.:sad1::furious:

Live Feed of Oil Leak

Just felt the earth move!

Sitting at my desk, rest time, kids on floor and we felt trembles! My chair was rocking side to side.

I thought my daughter was crawling under my chair or a ghost was finally visiting me.

They are saying people felt in Toronto, New York, Michigan, and Baltimore!

Any of you?

YES!!!!!!

That is how it felt to me too , I thought it was the cat in the couch under me....:lmao: It was suppose have been a 5.5 one too. We never have earthquakes here.

Nab, how far are you from Quebec? Isn't that where it registered?

I googled it and it is about 495 miles away from me. Yes it was Montreal to Toronto. I am just east of Toronto.

I didn't feel the earthquake today, but my office is essentially in a basement. My hubby works nearby and didn't feel it either, but the lights in his building flickered. I remember the one from several years ago - that one felt like somebody had run into our house.

Nothing too exciting here today.

Marita - Hope you can meet up with Peej sometime this summer!

Goooooood evening!

Glad everyone here was unharmed in the earthquake! I didn't feel it at all, although the local news reported lots of stories about people who did.

Moo, I'll be meeting up with Peej in just 18 days!!!!!!!!!!! I can't wait!

The kids and I are watching So You Think You Can Dance. Anyone else?

Lynette - That's AWESOME!!! After seeing your FB posts today, it sounds like you're ready for vacation ASAP!!!!!!!!

My friend who I helped plan a short notice trip for has been at WDW this week. Tonight's their last night (they were only staying three nights at the Dolphin). Hope they're having a great time. She doesn't regularly use a cell phone or text, so I haven't been able to check in to see how things have been going.

Mony--are you were all the bad weather is right now? It keeps interupting my tv show. I am watching America's Got Talent. I think Moo is up higher then where they are showing on the map.

Lynette-- I tried watching that show but couldn't handle the lady that screams. So I never went back.

Moo, work is a BIG part of why I am SO looking forward to vacation! When business slows down every year at this time, my boss dreams up little projects and new "procedures". Seems to me (and my coworkers!) that his time might be better spent finding NEW products to bring in MONEY, but apparently, he'd rather we spend time creating manuals and reviewing existing policies. BTW, there are a grand total of THREE employees. Two of us have worked for him for 5 1/2 years, and the other guy has worked for him for 3 years.....think we really need a procedural manual at this point????? :confused3

NAB, Mary Murphy doesn't appear much anymore. I agree, she's a screechy one! The judges change occasionally week-to-week, but mostly it's Nigel, Adam Shankman and Mia Michaels.

Thanks everybody! I am excited, but I'm going to miss my little germ monsters. ;) Luckily, I go to church with all my coworkers, so I will still get to see them. I am really looking forward to this new position. I will post pics of the puppy on FB soon. Just been too busy. She's sleeping in my lap as I type. :cloud9:

Nabbers and Mony
- Glad y'all are ok. I read about that while I was in the Dr.'s office waiting to get my TB test read. I will also have to have my fingerprints done for a background check.

WOW, I didn't hear anything about an earthquake. Glad everyone is OK.
Just more work here today.
Hopefully the kids didnt all overboard and will be home tomorrow.
Moo, I'm not scheduled to meet with anybody, probably wouldn't have time anyway, LOL.

morning.......people around here felt the quake too. I couldnt say it was that or those dang trucks going by and making the house shake....I remember one year when our son was in high school....I was laying on the couch and all of a sudden it felt like it was rolling....like going over a merry jump on the road.....I jumped up and husband came up from downstairs and everyone was looking at each other.....yup it was an earthquake....it is a weird sensation......not sure I would want to move to Ca. and feel the earth move under my feet......naaaa I will take an occasional hurricane, and occasional tornado and northeasters........and a few feet of snow.......but not for long.....:lmao:

1. I have never met any NKOTB IRL.
2. Congrats to Allie on the new job and new puppy.
3. Canandian earthquake? whoda thunk it? Glad all y'all are ok.
4. It is hoTT here on the prairie. And humid.
5. For those that asked here and there: my upcoming trip is mid october. Not free dining. I am so tempted to start posting threads like "will it be hot and crowded during my trip? should I bring a stroller?" :rotfl2:

twinks - don't forget these classic threads:
Can I use my mug from 1984?
We're entitled to go to stormalong bay because we paid for 1 value room for our 1 million+ kids. Do you think they'll mind?
If I send one kid to wait in line at the front of Toy Story Mania, I have every right to bring everyone else through the line.
I have no reservations for Cinderella's royal table, but I know they'll accept walk ups because I have a friend who is a hostess at Chef Mickey's and she said it's ok.
My other friend who works at the Contemporary said it's totally fine to use California Grill's patio for viewing Hallowishes even though we're not eating there. popcorn::

Allie: Congrats on the new job!

Marita: Do you still watch Hell's Kitchen? That's the only show I dvr right now.

Celery and Twink: Don't forget can I use my sisters kids annual pass to get my kid in free?

Everybody: Hi!
