Ali-- Prayers for your dad. It must be hard for you not to be there.

Pumba-- I am guessing 95 is good? Did you get my email address?

Nicholas had track and field regionals yesterday and came in second in shot putt :woohoo: He only missed first by a hair. Then he won his baseball game last night so he was on cloud nine.

Hubby has been off so we have been just out and about all day. I love this time. Our Walmart is finally opening today in town it will be a mad house I am sure. That and Ribfest this weekend in town it will be crazy.

well 95 is better then 125, but low for me.its weird.....

Deb, I sent it last night, checked and just resent it again..

its oldish looking but a little updating and I am good to go....hahaha

Pumba - Thanks for the prayers and the pics! :thumbsup2 It looks so clean!! I'm excited for you!

Well, I talked with my dad this morning, and he sounds ok considering, but they will do surgery this afternoon. They are going to replace the hip instead of trying to fix it, which I think that is the better option. Thanks again for all your prayers, but if you don't mind, say another one this afternoon. Thanks! :grouphug:

UPDATE - Dad just called and they are prepping him for surgery now. It should take about an hour. I'll keep you posted here and there. ;)

Thanks for all the thoughts and prayer for good exam taking. I really felt I did good, I didn't ace it, but I did well enough to think I can stick this class out. I haven't the official grade, but its just a feeling.

Then right after I got to look at human and sheep brains. For reals!

Allie: Praying, keep us posted.

Marita: No wonder its hard for you to quit smoking. I don't think you should even try under that kind of pressure. Makes you more stressed.
Stop working late at night from home, that's when you should be chilaxing.

Pumba, I hope you get my pm, i'd like to see those pictures.

Amanda: Sorry the babies are sick. At least they waited until after vacation.

I had the day free of day care children and my kids just came home from their last day of school. I now have a highschooler (9th) and middle schooler (7th) and first grader and one still at home.

I bought tickets for Karate Kid for the 530pm showing. A little treat from me while I have this free time.

Jealous of PJ and BBN for the girl time. Hope you two are having a blast! And I hope we get to read about it.

Pumba-- still nothing are you sure you are putting .ca at the end. That is a common mistake. It is for Canada.

Ali-- Your dad sounds like a fighter, hope all is well with him. Prayers for a fast recovery.

Our weather is heating up again , just in time for the weekend. Hubby did drag me off to the Walmart with the other million people....as if we never saw a Walmart before.:lmao: We did get free cake and coffee. And there were samples all over the store. Even got a up front parking spot so that made us stay.

My EG washer had a recall on it yesterday so I called right away.Thought I would have to wait a long time for a service person and they just showed up instead of calling back. Bonus. All fixed now. Maybe I should go out and buy a lottery ticket since we are having a good day.

okey NAB.......this is the third one I hope that Canada will realize that I am a FRENCH PERSON TOO....:cutie:

Third times the charm Marie.....:thumbsup2 Thanks. I'm sure you will love it when you get there. Lots of windows. And it will be warm. Are you going to be snowbirds and stay there a few months at a time?

Dad came through the surgery fine. He's not being a cooperative patient according to my mom. I told her to discount anything he says today because it is the drugs talking. She was REALLY loopy the evening after her surgery. ;) Thanks for all the good thoughts, prayers and well wishes. They are very much appreciated!

Mony
- How many more classes do you have to go? Aren't you getting a Special Ed. degree?

MommyP - How are the kiddos? Dr's visit go ok?

great news about your dad...I remember when my dear MIL was under some good drugs.....she said words that she would of never ever thought of let alone say......She would of been embarrassed for life.

It's funny to hear my mom's reaction to how expensive the parking and the food are at the hospital. :confused3 Um, I did that twice last year for her with both of her surgeries. Don't think she has put that together yet. I didn't mind doing it because I needed to be there, but I just find it funny.

Yes Alie, Epecial Ed-Cognitive Impairment. Great news about your dad.

Homework is beepy!

Good night!

morning moovers.

Today it is already raining.....when the dog (bless her little heart) woke us up at four thirty and I tried to go back to sleep ......five fifteen the sun was shining in the bedroom window.....BRAT...THE DOG not the sun...

I have to get my act together and go to Mass. Today is the greatest ladies birthday....she will be 90 and we all love her to pieces....

I hope you all have a great day today......bless your daddy too and hope he gets up and running soon

It's hot, hot, hot and muggy here in Michigan today! Going to try to meet up with a friend for a late lunch and a little shopping at the mall.

Allie - Glad to hear your dad's doing OK

Hope everyone has a nice weekend!!!

Hey all. I read most of what I'd missed -almost 10 pages worth!
Sorry work is so stressful, marita.

Hi to everyone else!

The teacher commented that I probably don't want to be a teacher in an SXI room.

What is SXI? Was the teacher being rude?

The Dr. visit showed now obvious ailment. Seth has no fever today, still says his belly hurts. Jeremiah has the fever today. lol. But he is a good sick kid.

What is SXI? Was the teacher being rude?

SXI stands for: severly multiply impaired, the kids in that room, age 12-14 were all in wheel chairs, vision impaired, partially paralyzed, tube and spoon fed, out of 9 two could talk but very limited. They were all completely in need of us to care for them. Oh, and all in diapers. Some of the other kids in the school are on oxygen and breathing machines. She was not being rude, it was an unusual day with an assistant passing out and a student who stopped breathing on us. I think that day just made me stronger.

Hope you are well Cel, come out and play more often.

Just got back from a nice bike ride. I loaded my car into the back seat of my car (with the top down and a towel covering the seat) and drove into town to ride in the park and around the downtown area where it's safer. After I got home, I did a little adjusting on the seat and pumped the tires up a bit. I think it rides even better now.

Hopefully, I'll be able to use my bike rack in a few days. I had to order a trailer hitch for my hubby to install because a trailer hitch bike rack is the only type that'll fit my car! Fortunately, I already have a bike rack that should work. I just need to clean it up because it's been in the shed for several years

MommyP - Hope your kids all feel better soon!!!

Cel - Nice to hear from you over here! :) I see you often enough on FB that I don't worry. Hope MamaCel is doing OK lately.

Morning!!!! Not much sun here, but I feel like a ball of sunshine. Probably cause my sinus infection is getting better.

I have a babyshower to attend. I actually used to watch this girl. I feel so old when the kids I watched are grown. I like the image of them being little in my mind instead of seeing the reality of my immortality. I'm gonna pick up a bunch of diapers, wipes, burp cloth type things

Cheryl its nice to read about you doing all these things.

No sun here either. Hope the rain doesn't come.

We have church, kids club at the church after, Nicholas has soccer practise ( church servers are playing against the other two churches at the end of the month) then Nicholas plays baseball out of town tonight. Run, run , run.

Moo-- I second what Mony said, you seem to be enjoying life and getting out and having more fun.

Marita -- and you my dear need a vacation. Hope things get better for you soon at work. Isn't you son coming to visit soon or is that only in Nov.

Hope everyone has a great Sunday!!!

Thanks, Mony and Nabbie! It's so nice to be able to be more active!!! I had forgotten how much I enjoy bike riding.

Glad you're feeling better, Mony :) I haven't been to a baby shower in ages. But I do have a graduation open house to go to later this month.

We have some sunshine this evening, Nabbie. Maybe it'll be coming your way soon :thumbsup2
