Hello ...

The sun is out (maybe not long though the weather guy said)...Megara is laying in her sunbeam.....

Just have Jacob here today. Ava went to an animal farm with her other auntie...its okey I need to get some laundry done....and other stuff.

AGAIN woke up today early....I wonder if I am worrying to much about this place in the SUNSHINE state....
Yesterday got the electric ready to be in our name on May 3rd. Then water dept but I have to make an application out for that.......The electric co. person who happened to be male was extremely helpful whereas the water lady was a bum......Electric to keep on is 5 bucks a month from March til October and then 9 dollars a month for prime time. And naturally more if we go and use it..

HEY WHERE DID MY SUN GO......I turned around and it is gone.......NABBY did you take it????

still waiting for the realtor to email me back info on the insurance company that the owners have now. I would figure that an agent or company that is already familiar with the property would be better.. What do you think???

Hope baby is feeling better today and hope that your other rug rats eye is okey........give them a piggy hug

Pumba- I thought I might have your sun but I was wrong. Big ol' storm clouds here where the waving wheat sure smells sweet.

Mony- Long time no see! :hug:Sorry about what is going on with the school. I hope having a diagnosis will help you find ways to help him. I am a believer that knowledge is power but I do understand how it feels to get news like that.

Marita- Tell knitfreak congrats from all of us! (who wouldn't want to hear from a coworkers imaginary friends?):rolleyes1 Babies are wonderful!

MommyP- Are you back from the dr yet? My princess ran a very high fever for a couple of days last month. Turned out to be an ear infection. I never had a kid get one so young. Her only symptoms were fever and loss of appetite. It is rotten to have a baby you cannot console.

Speaking of the princess, her daddy calls her "Sweet Pea" but now she is "Black Eyed Pea" . Yup. Her big brother *Cough* *grasshopper* *Cough* gave her a black eye at the ripe old age of 3 months. Where is that nomination for Mother of the Year??????

Twinkie-- Ouch poor princess. Did you ever decide it you were going to teach this year?

What is with all the kids here having eye problems.

Pumba-- we did have sun all day but it is trying to have a sun sprinkle as we speak. Just a passing cloud I hope.

Moo-- Did you watch BL last night? Could you believe Koli ate all that food. I felt so bad for O Neal too. Victoria did better at home and her mom looked great too.

Hello, all. My sister is having her weight loss surgery tomorrow morning at 7:30, so I've been kind of preoccupied lately. Thanks in advance for any prayers. Hope she sails through just as smoothly as I did :goodvibes

Forgot to tell Mony that I hope she has a goog network to help figure things out :grouphug:

Commiseration to the mamas whose babies are mending from ouchies, fever, etc.!

Nabbie - I missed the part where Koli was actually eating all that stuff :headache: But he ended up doing OK with his weight loss anyway. I knew he was going to pick Victoria after they showed him commenting that she was slacking during her workout. I also thought both she and her mom looked great when they showed how they're doing now. That sure was a rough time for O'Neal and Sunshine.

Hi all,

Hope all sick babies are on the mend quickly!

I have office news tonight. My collegue, who was my partner, is leaving to take a new position, so I am going to be in charge by myself, and I am getting an assitant, Kristi, mid-20's I would guess. No knickname so far, we have yet to get know each other, I only know her from big meetings. Happening in a couple of weeks.

Moo, best wishes to your sister, I hope she does great! Send her my best

Mommy P-- Hope everything goes well at the doctors. Poor babies. I never nursed but I guess I just held them , rocked them. I really don't remember ever not being able to comfort them though.

I am thankful I can just stick her next to me in bed and nurse her while I sleep. :rotfl: She won't eat anything, only nurse, so she is hungry and nursing all the time.

Twinkie - Poor "Black Eyed Pea". I hope you got a picture of her first shiner. ;)

Ellie has double ear infections. Hopefully by tomorrow night I will be sleeping at 2:30 am instead of posting. I decided to stay up and quick nurse her instead of sleeping and letting her nurse for longer. So hopefully I can put her down in her own bed so I can sleep better.

Kaleb had a speck of something in his eye that I missed when I looked. :guilty: Poor guy. His eye was no longer swollen or blood shot by the time we left the Dr. office.

Then we had to spend a couple hours shopping. Glad that's over with, and so happy to have food in the house again.

Marita - Congrats on the new assistant!

Hope your new assistant is good for you and fits in well.

Poor babies that are hurting. I once had a pine needle that hit me in the eyeball and I couldnt see either....had to keep a patch on my eye so that it would heal and not be so irritated..

Got the application for water for our old age retreat.(husbands words not mine) and called for info on the insurance. Electric bill will be sent to us in a few. But at least the guy was nice enough not to charge us a deposit. Maybe it was my Mainer accent.....hahaha..

Waiting for Ava. yesterday she went with her other aunties and I just had jacob.....today just Ava and no Jacob.....go figure..

Went to the wake last night and it was wall to wall people. I mean PACKED......when we were leaving ....the motorcycles were coming. I am glad that we went, they seemed to be happy with us being there too....

The little box that held his ashes was just beautiful with his etching of him and his deer. The area surrounding that looked like Cabelas or LL Bean areas. Trees, and his trophys...very nice and so meaningful to the family of MOOSE...

off to get my broken glasses fixed. Maddy is on a breaking glasses spree! She broke Zack's a few days ago. She is a monster!

I have so many appointments, it's crazy!

Tim and I are going to see Dr. Temple Grandin speak in Troy next week. She is one of the most sucessful persons in the world with Autism. And Dr. Kubin who in his adult life was diagnosed with Aspergers. Should be very interesting.

I have my last day of class at Wayne State University for the winter term, I have to take the final. Then I have a few more weeks at Macomb Community College to finsih out there. Then I am done with MCC and finish my program at WSU. They have my application for the College of Education and I am just waiting to hear back from them. I'm getting impatient, its been about 3 weeks. I have to do some kind of orientation and them I can start registering for fall. I have 3 classes I am taking this spring and to get the extra grants I was awarded I have to take 4 classes in the fall. I CAN DO IT!!! (the grants are free money!)

Ok, good luck to Moo's sister. Hope the sun comes back for you Pumba. Prayers for healthy babies!

Pumba - You are going to love Hernando. A very good friend of ours and his wife had 5 acres up there. We loved visiting them, they were older(older than my parents) and such great encouragements to us. He died in 2007 from cancer. We haven't been back up there since. There have been many times we tried to figure out how we could move up there. It's just a million times different than the lifestyle around here. Plus it's beautiful, there are hills and not to mention all the SPRINGS! You'll have to show some pictures of your old age retreat when you get some. We'd all love to see it. :)

Ellie is still running a little fever, but is definitely feeling better. She finally ate this morning, first time in 2 days.

We actually opened up the house last night. That is unheard up for mid April. I'll have to close everything up by lunch, but even that little break is nice. Love airing out the house!

My sister's surgery went well and she was into her room within 3 hours. She's still pretty groggy and having a little trouble keeping her oxygen levels up (the monitor keeps beeping), but her BFF and I are sitting with her keeping an eye on things. I'll update later today.

Thanks for the good wishes!

Moo-- glad your sister is doing well so far. She is lucky to have such a great sister.

Mommy P-- glad the princess is getting better and it wasn't anything too serious with the other ones eye.

Mony-- I hate having to get glasses fixed. Hope this Dr. can help you out and get you on track as what to do for your son. Don't know how you juggle all the things you do.

I have been spending the day cleaning. The kids bathroom was a mess and really needed a deep clean. It is sparkling now until the first kids uses it that is and sprays the mirror, misses the toliet or just leaves toothpaste in the sink. :headache:

Prayers for my little sister please! She went in to see her midwife today because she has been having some spotting and the baby was gone. They are planning a D&C for soon. :(

Thanks, Nabbie! She is a great sister to me too.

MommyP - Sending prayers for your sister. So sorry to hear that

Oh how sad. :sad1: Prayers for her and your family Mommy P.

Moo - Glad things went well for your sister. Hope she's a skinny minnie soon, just like you. :goodvibes

Mony - :headache: on the broken glasses.

Twinks - Your black eyed pea is gonna grow up and get him back one day.

MommyP - Prayers for your sister. Was it Mercedes mom? Hope Ellie gets to feeling better soon. Mama needs some rest. ::yes::

BGal - Congrats to knitfreak! :cloud9: Congrats on the new assistant. Hope y'all get along swimmingly!

MP, hugs and prayers for you sister, how sad!

Mony, great progress on the classes, I agree, with 4 kids, you have quite a load!

Moo, YAY for your sister doing well!

Not much to report from my end tonight. I couldnt sleep all night, fell asleep at about 5am finally and woke up at 9! :scared1: This was the second night in a row of little sleep. Just found some Nyquil, going to take some tonight, I have an early meeting tomorrow, just hope it doeas keep me asleep...

Hubby, who goes to bed at 5pm. came walking out at 8:21 and asked what time is it? I said 8:20. He askes "morning or night?" Mind you, it was pitch black outside.. :sad2:

Looks like we will have to put the dog to sleep, he gets worse by the day. Probably within the next week.

Marita....I know about having to put our "best friends" down......it was a sad day for us and took a while to get over it.....Please know we are all here for you whenever you need us.
Hugs to you..
I am also so sorry about your sister losing her baby......When our son and dil lost Nathan ..it was a terrible time for all.....I hope that you all are close as it is a lonely time for some...
Found out from the insurance company in Florida that it is wicked expensive for one type of insurance and we will get the cheaper alternative. Just to keep us insured for less and that includes that no one gets hurt on our property.....that is the biggest issue for anyone...
Hope you all have a great day

MP: I'm so sorry for her loss. I will add her to my prayers. How far long was she?

Marita: A glass of wine or two should do the trick. Hot bath, boring book, white noise playing in the background? I need that cause my DH snoring is just getting out of hand!

Sad my one class is over, I feel I've learned so much. I was even reading parts of the book still last night.

I have just to get through all the review in my Math for teachers class. This class is very unchallenging, and I wish I could ask her to let me take the final now, just to get a break. She literally has scheduled each class until it ends to review each chapter we just did. Ho Hum.

Nice sunny day! Hope its shining over by you!

Thanks everyone. I haven't talked to her, I'm not good at these sorts of things. And frankly if someone like me(has had 6 perfect pregnancies with no losses) tried to console me if I lost a baby I don't think I'd take to it very well. So I sent her a note telling her how much I love her and am praying for her, but that I didn't know what to say to her other than that. So I would leave it there.

It's even worse because she wanted a baby SO bad. Little John is two now and Aimee and I had babies last year. It was going to be her year. But now they will have to wait until 2011 before they can try again. Their insurance is crap and the max yearly amount they have to pay is $5000. If they got pregnant again this year they would have to pay that amount twice.

Her D&C is at 1:30 today.

Mony - She was about 9 weeks.

In other news, Ellie is having loose burning her skin off her butt poop and has a rash on her belly and head. She has had amoxicillian before, so :confused3

I had amox all my life and then when I was 17 I had it and broke out in a HORRIBLE rash from it. So I guess maybe it's the same kind of thing for her? Other than that she is almost back to her old self again.

Forgot to add that last night I was up with Ellie twice, Kaleb puking twice and cleaning puke from the kitchen floor(that I almost fell in because it was dark and I didn't know he had left a trail from his room to mine) AND from the carpet in Kaleb's room.

I need a night away to sleep. lol
