Yes. We do call him our little deranged circus monkey. Which is a quote from King of Queens.... Doug calls Arthur that behind his back but then when Arthur overhears him tries to pass it off as a term of endearment.

Well, he is 14 so everyone over 25 is old as the hills. He kept complaining about how old Amy Adams looked- I guessed she was 27. Almost ancient.


Ok all you bored peeps. You could come to the PTA Fake This-is-so-not-a-fundraiser-Carnival. There will be no parking, crowds, over priced games and carpy prizes. Whoohoo.

Guess what. Yep, the podcast still has yet to be taped. Mike tore a disc in his back, so he can't make it to the studios. Next week. Reminds me of a girl I dated, or rather, didn't date in college. Every time we had a date, something happened to her dad and she couldn't go. Our last date, I called and she said her dad had died. I bit my tongue hard, it was just a bit much. Sadly, her dad's obit was in the paper the next day. We decided to be friends. Long story short, we'll wait and see. BTW, you can listen on your Real Player. That's what I do.

I grew up 6 blocks from Churchill Downs, but was never inside till I went away to college. And yep, just on Dirty Day er Derby Day. Back in the day, on Derby Day if you were going, you had to drink a beer before you got out of bed that day. Ahh, tradition. Of course, that meant it had to sit on the bedstand all night. I've never been to Thunder. Didn't have it in the dark ages.

Lexi-- we are going from 30 inch to 36 cabinets with crown moulding. We dont' have 9 foot ceiling for 42 inch ones.

I would paint but he is a picky painter. I usually go fast and have paint all over me by the time I am done , he is lucky if he gets any on him. And he has to have a perfect line along the top by the ceiling. Meaning he is really slow painter....

I did my dues with painting. I painted all the rooms of the house when we moved in because he wasn't here and Nicholas was a baby and stayed at my Mom's until I was done.

MommyP-- save travels. Hope there is some fun involved for you there.

Rob -- Moving furniture is fun. And if she is like me she will just put it all back the way it was because it didn't work the other way.

Twinkie-- have fun at your carnival. Don't let the kids buy back anything you donated.

OT- So y'all know I lost big weight this week (today it's 10 lbs. since last friday ) from my jaw and going off the hooch so now I'm making chocolate chip cookies for my kids (and the big 47 yr. old kid) AND I don't even want any at all Did someone hypnotize me in my sleep?

My triple chocolate chip cookies with pecans are the bestest I'm told by all who partake of them. Not to toot my own horn. (TooT)
