Rob- How did your Royals game go? More importantly, what did you have for baseball-food? WE are stuck with the Bees. Which I liked better when they were the BUZZ (to match JAZZ).

I think listing baseball food may be a violation of this thread's no fattening foods rule. Actually, if I can find the time this weekend, I am planning on doing a post about the game with some pics.

WELL, THEN.....GOOOOOD MORNING!

I stand corrected. Gladly. It just seems I'm always here by myself on Saturdays drinking coffee and posting on random threads til around 10ish.

Sleepover was fun! We ate, we crafted, we learned about missions, we painted fingernails, we prayed for kids in other countries, and we watched MULAN! I KNOW! (But I'm guessing Mulan's rated G. Enchanted is PG.) But I love Mulan. I always cry happy tears when the emperor bows to her and then she turns and everyone in the Forbidden City is bowing too.

I commandeered the sofa again and the last of the squirmer/talkers went to sleep around midnight. Nobody puked. It was big fun. Strangely I never spent the night when my girls went to that sleepover so it serves me right to be spending the night there with other peoples kids now.

So I came home this morning and the house is empty. Emily stayed at the neighbors, Mimi stayed at her boyfriend's apartment (he's still in Oregon), and DH spent the night at the house where DS was spending the night. So. Very weird. I am now consuming my weight in coffee to offset the headache.

Twinkie....Got a big chuckle out of the Family Fun recap. Deranged circus monkey?! And if Giselle is old, I must look like the old hag.

Moo....I had bacon cheeseburger pizza last night. I think that's approved on the Atkins plan? Thanks for the . Poor Grandmother will be having her gall bladder out in the next 30-45 my mom says. She's going to a new doctor who has found all these issues so hopefully once they're addressed she'll feel lots better. She'll be 90 on her birthday this year and still drives up to the church to walk everyday.

BNCG....I knew you weren't sleeping! Have fun at baseball.

Wendee....I haven't slept til 10am in at least 18 1/2 years either. I hit everyone wif a pellow for ya. How did the peeps do yesterday?

Monica....YAY for GNO! It keeps me going sometimes!

Allie.....You MUST rent Enchanted! You and DD can cuddle up and watch it together. I hope she's feeling better today.

Oh there's NO non-fattening foods post rule here, so feel free. In the dieting world, that's "looking but not touching". It's been years since I've been to a baseball game so I've forgotten what food is there besides peanuts and pawcorn. Post pics! We're curious as to the face behind the wit.

Pretend this is my first post and I just woke up!

Today is Thunder Over Louisville., which I am certain y'all know is the kickoff to the Kentucky Derby Festival, which I'm sure you know is the countdown to the Kentucky Derby, which I'm sure y'all know is the first Saturday in May, which I'm sure y'all know it's held at Churchill Downs, which I'm sure y'all know that I have been to Churchhill Downs, just never on Derby.

And just so y'all are clear:

Thunder Over Louisville, the annual kickoff event of the Kentucky Derby Festival, is an airshow and fireworks display held in late April in Louisville, Kentucky. It is the largest annual fireworks display in North America. Last year 850,000 people attended. It's held on the Ohio River. Both sides of the river are packed. We prefer the Indiana side. duh.

I did know all those things you mentioned except that you've been to Churchill Downs but never to the Derby. Which is weird. Because I've been to the Derby but never to Churchill on any other racing day.

Wow fireworks, pizza and sleepover talk this morning.

It is like grand central around here. My brother in law came in put a hole in my kitchen floor. Can't get drywall in the basement so they thought this was a great time to do it since the new floor goes down on Tuesday. The kids and cat keep looking down the hole. I am afraid one will fall down the hole... They want to keep the hole.

We are suppose to be painting but haven't even started that yet. Poor hubby has a test in 4 days too.

Rob-- Would be nice to see what you look like.

I better go make sure the cat doesn't get out while they are caring in the drywall...

The drywall sheets will not fit around the corner of our stairwell. They would have to be cut in two. Meaning we would have more seams etc. when they mudded the walls. All in all more work.

Since the kitchen is empty....they thought they would just drop it though the floor with all the other supplies need to finish the basement. We are going to be so broke..... we have a budget for kitchen/ basement and when the money runs out that is how much of the basement will be done. My BIL will do the basement so that is cheaper too.

Ah! Dry wall dust is about to permeate your every pore when they cut the pieces to fit and when the mud is sanded. OY. Just went through this! I hear ya on the going broke thing. DH is doing all the work himself (although I bring him cold drinks and occasionally yell downstairs "ARE YA DONE YET?")

It is sleeting and snowing here today! Baseball tournaments and football games (which should never be cancelled due to weather IMO unless the weather is truly dangerous such as lightning, tornadoes, etc.) have been cancelled. Someone please make this Winter stop!

UMA-- we have not seen that one yet but have seen all the other Barbie ones. I am sure that will be the next Blockbuster pick for her.

I want my paint colour to up so bad. BIL just left and now hubby says lets go out to dinner. Me thinks he is putting it off. When we come back he will say it is too dark to paint.

Wendee....I'm bored too. I locked myself in the bedroom and watched Love Actually. I LOVE that movie. I'd hate for DS to walk in at the wrong moment on that one. My girls only got in on the very beginning of the computer animated Barbie movies. We have Barbie Nutcracker which is still what they put on if they've had a bad dream and can't go back to sleep. (that or Alice in Wonderland)

NAB....Start painting, sister! I noticed you had the soffets (?) taken out. Will your new cabinets go all the way to the ceiling?
