Shirley you jest! We loved Enchanted! We have the movie and the soundtrack in the car.

In fact, we're showing it tonight at the sleepover at church. I can't wait. :dance3:

I'm with you. LOVED it. The soundtrack is awesome too. Can I come to your church sleepover? :lovestruc

MommyP- sorry you didn't like it. My boys won't admit it but they secretly liked it. Odd ducks they are.

Same here. Though my sons refused to go with me to the theater to see it, once we bought it on DVD, they didn't want to leave the couch while it was playing. They still won't admit that it was entertaining though. :sad2:

WHAT?!!! :scared1: Not like Enchanted? Blasphemy! I mean, what's not to love, it's got housekeeping rodents, clothing made out of the drapes, and McSteamy! I guess I'll let you slide on this one, MommyP. ;)

Just had yet another interview. I think it went well because they asked me for another interview in about a week!

But, inquiring (nosy) minds want to know if you liked it too?
Did you cry? :rolleyes1

Me and Norah went twice to the theater. I likes me some real "paw-corn." Which is a carb. :upsidedow

Yayyy! That's great. Hope it works out for ya.

I want the Utahn critters to come clean soapy scum and stinky socks. I'd get a gaggle of sea gulls, spiders, elk, and assorted dogs and cats. :sad2:

Sleepover a 1,000 miles away? Hmmm, tempting, but my fear of tornados keeps me here. Smack someone with a "pellow" for me, though, Melinda!

Hi LilG. Nice to see ya again.

As far as "Enchanted" goes I thought they movie was pretty good, but what I really liked was the soundtrack. We did take the kids to see it in the theater. Julia thought it was "dumb" (although she did say Patrick Dempsey was cute)
Caleb asked why he had to go see it. Ethan liked the one legged pigeon, and the red head really liked it.

Sooooooo, when we are in the van, the redhead and I will pop in the "Enchanted" cd just to irritate the rest of the family. He loves the Happy Working Song, and I like the rest of them.

Not like Enchanted?!?!!! GWTW ALSO has clothing made out of drapes and it is a classic.

Oh no!

I haven't seen it yet. I was thinking of going to The Targets (or mebbe The Walmarts if I have enough time) this afternoon and buying it for Family Fun (TMIdunnoIjustmadeitup) Nite for tonight. I thought if I served pizza picnic-style on blankets in the living room some people (the male people) would buy into the whole Family Fun concept. (Also the keen observer would note that I wouldn't have to cook dinner- ha!)

I cannot remember the last movie I saw in a real theatre. Honestly. We used to go ALL the time back in the day when we lived near the dollar show and we only had one kid.

So do you think my crew will like it?
Boys: 40, 14, almost 3 and almost 5 months
Girls: me, 6, 6

But, inquiring (nosy) minds want to know if you liked it too?
Did you cry? :rolleyes1
1. I thought I had already said that on this thread but, yes, I liked it quite a bit. I even splurged for the extra picture quality of the Blu-Ray disc (or, more accurately, DW did -- she bought it for me on the day it was released).
2. Not that I remember BUT I did sit there in the theater with a huge cheesey grin on my face during the "How Does She Know" number in the park (and maybe during other scenes as well).

ALRIGHT!!!

Everybody come to the sleepover! Please. :flower3:

I teach a first grade girls group so it's me, the children's minister (also a girl), and 9 little girls! The minister had scheduled lots of gym time and a short movie. (She is the mother of two boys.) I suggested that we do fingernails and watch Enchanted.

So that's what we're doing. Heh. princess:

I won't be posting at my usually early time but I may still get in the first post since all y'all sleep til about 10 on Saturday. :upsidedow

I second this post except for the caramel apple thing. I know. It's wIerd for me not to get behind the food concept, but caramel's not high on the priority list. I do love that they go to that Italian restaurant though, cuz I always want pizza when I see that scene. (as if that is different from any other time in my life, b/c pizza is WAY high on the priority list)

Totally the wrong season! Great, now I have to find caramel apples. Do you want poison ones or regular? OOoooohhhhh......can I bring Pip too???!! My friend's hamster had babies and I think one of them could pass as Pip!

Why must all of you people come up with unobtainable food? The bunny shaped cookies are so out. They are now baseballs. Because we just had opening day. Then they will be graduation themed. And will be present at my graduation party.

Baseballs will do just fine.

I MIGHT go to Lexington...ya never know what a bbn might do.;)

Well, just to ease some of your all's fears, I won't be able to make the sleepover tonight. I've got tickets to tonight's ballgame and four boys anxious for me to take them to that. Maybe next time, Lex! :thumbsup2
