HAPPY EASTER Moovers!

We kind of do the MommyP thing at Easter. We TRY to go to church most weekends but we don't go on Easter weekend because they don't have the children's services on Easter and I'm sorry but my 7-year old boy doesn't have the patience/attention span to sit up in the sanctuary for the main service. Some of the years I would go and take the older boys with me.

Rob....How's your NCAA bracket lookin now? BWAHAHA

Let me just say I only need North Carolina or Louisville to lose in the East region and then all regions in my bracket will look similar.

Twinkie- Lookie that yummy boy! Cute egg! And you know I noticed his matching socks! Happy Easter my friend!

How can you tell his two socks are matching when you can only see one of them? Maybe his other sock is hot pink (like Lex's race horses)?

Let's just say that my NCAA Bracket looks a lot like this........XXX XXX XXX

I'm not a sports fan, but my son and husband signed up for the ESPN tournament bracket thingy, so I decided to join in too. Only, I was a little late, so I'm not in the competition. Let's just say that my Midwest and South brackets are toast. Wishing you better luck than I have had. I have to admit, I did a lot of yelling at the TV today, so that I could stay alive, and it WORKED. (that's me yelling at my teams to WIN!)

I finally got my new desk top finished. Applying the poly coating gave me a headache all afternoon, so I'm only putting on one coat. Think I'll let it dry at least overnight before putting it in the bedroom.

Twink, thanks for sharing the Grasshopper photo!!! He is such a little cutie!

We have been watching the John Adams miniseries on HBO. I'm not that big of a history buff, but it has been pretty interesting to watch.

Not much news to report other than we still have snow on the ground. I didn't feel like shopping this weekend, so we just had chicken and stuffing for dinner tonight. Wendy, Easter egg sandwiches sound good! I haven't had an egg salad sandwich for ages. But then, we haven't colored Easter eggs for ages either. Think I'll give DD a call yet tonight.

My only chicken connection today was some "San Francisco Treat" Chicken flavored rice. It was pretty good, really. DH made steak earlier for himself and DS, while DD went over to her BF's appt to make dinner for friends.

I do NOT want to go to work tomorrow. Is it suspicious if you call in sick on a Monday? Should I wait till Wednesday? I let way too many sick days laps last year, I tell you!

We just got home from my mom's. Where going to come home tomorrow but the kids wanted to see if the Easter Bunny came. All the other cousins came to my mom's and already had there stuff. We did make it to church this morning. Standing room only, all those people that only go Christmas and Easter....like someone else said.

They are hunting for eggs as we speak and it is almost midnight here. Good thing we can sleep in tomorrow because no school or work for hubby.....

Yay for your kids getting to hunt for Easter goodies at midnight, LOL.

DS was working today out near 535 at Disney this morning, and said it was absolute gridlock with people trying to get to Mary, Queen of the Universe church out there .
Guess they didn't build it big enough for Easter Sunday

I always hug my mom real tight when I leave. You just never know. I got to see almost everyone but my one sister this trip. She was at the other side this time. My brother and I share the same birthday so we got picked on a lot about getting older .... which since the clock just changed I am a year older now. Don't feel it though.....

GOOG MORNING!

So it's back to the routine today. One last week til Spring Break.

Did I tell you I'm cutting off the biggest part of our cable and going down to like 20 channels? The only two people who watch TV are the two who don't need to be watching it...the youngest two.

To compensate I got Netflix. They have a lot of movies you can watch online so that ought to keep them quiet for a while. I'll let you know.

Twink....The lil man is precious! We all oooo'ed and aaaaah'ed over him here yesterday. Did you have WKU picked in honor of DTD? That oughtta put you right up there.

NAB....Hunting eggs at midnight? I took my eggs with me this weekend in case we didn't make it back. But you know DS didn't find them all. He's gonna be finding them for a week! I can still see them everywhere...mostly up high where he didn't look.

DTD....Who are all these people who don't know about the Sweet 16??? Congratulations, Hilltoppers!!! How exciting!!! I'm sooo happy for them (and you!). Are you going? Where is it?

Rob....My DS is a bad worship service boy too. I went to Sunday school by myself yesterday.

Lex- YES! I did pick WKU in honor of DTD. Last night I pointed out that I am in the lead both by points and by total number of games picked. The DH replied "Well there are two more weeks to go". Ha. The next round could be bad for me however. His bracket has a lot more potential than mine. Let me know how Netflix and lack of cable works out for you. We have the new digital wireless dohickey. When we mooved they were offering a promotion that made it less expensive than cable. Now it is about the same but we get more channels and a DVR. We LOVE the DVR. I recently was looking into downgrading the channels but it wouldn't save us any money because then they would start charging for other things. Anyway- I could live without it in a instant but the DH likes the sports. Apparently we need ESPN 8, the Ocho.


Thanks Everyone for admiring my little man. We think he is remarkably good looking and obviously intelligent. His latest trick is ROLLING OVER. So now he is waking up every few hours because he has rolled over and doesn't like it. Brilliant I tell ya!

Today the sun is out and I am sitting here starving to death because I was supposed to be going out for breakfast with a dear friend.....she is waiting for the cable guy and then we are going....so I just had a half of a tangerine to hold my system over.......it was delicious but would rather have my COFFEE....

It sounds like everyone had a very nice Easter. We had a nice Easter here too. It was very sad to see my grandpa come in the door without my grandma and everyone knew how much she would have loved to be there. She was definitely missed but we still had a very nice time. I made baskets for everyone and made them actually hunt to find them. Some of the adults really didn't want to humor me, but they did! My friend Eren also set up a competitive Easter egg hunt with prizes! I won, just sayin. AND I went to church!

I'll say a prayer for your mother, Marita. Hopefully you can work it out to go see her.

I would get more fancy, but I'm on the computer in the hotel lobby. I've been up since 2:30 AM central time in order to make it to LOVELY Billings. I was lost for two hours. I found 6 different 25th streets, three of which were 25th Street W, but only ONE is S 25th St W. But i'm here now. And not going to feel guilty about not going into the office. I am wiped!
If your flight leaves at 6 Am, does it count to say you are officially "At work" at 5 AM to get through security? If so, then I "worked" my 8 hours and then some.

You guys know I really am not into sports but I keep finding myself paying attention AND last night I actually was talking to the TV in an effort to light a fire under UCLA

Me too! I was yelling at the TV during the Memphis/Mississippi state game last night - and at the stupid miss state hecklers.
