Well then you lost your spot on the mystery machine because your detecting is off. There wasn't a single note of snark.
 You can only aspire to be as angelic as me.

Nope. And I deny being frenemies with anyone who might even consider such a thing. Harumph.

Last edited by PrincessJasmine08 : Today at 08:56 PM. Reason: yet for some reason i'm detecting a snarky undertone. imagine that.

Snark? Here? Surely you jest! :lmao:
Did I miss the coining of the phrase frenemies? Because I love it! :lmao:

1.I can't believe you're the only one to get that, RobIn! You are a chick, aren't you!
.

That is because you cheated and added the quote AFTER I read your post. Harumph TMsnarkgirl.

I can quote the Princess Bride all day long.

Goog evening everybody :) Busy day at work for me. Mondays ALWAYS are super busy and I hardly have time to peek at the batphone.

Nice to have you back again, Peej. Smoochies to bbn if you're reading tonight  Hope you're continuing to feel better every day.

Sorry, Lexipoo, I have sworn off free dining - too hot and humid, too much weight gained :sad1: last September, and too busy a time at work (dang end of fiscal year)!

Mony, I'm still thinking of going again in December. I really think that would be a great time for a mini-meet for anyone who's game!!!

Pumba, any chance Cel and I can "accidentally run into you" next month??! :lmao: I can send you our tentative schedule. We do have plans for LeCellier lunch with Marita :yay:

L, sorry to hear you were finally back to work today. Sorta better than being  though . . .

LOLing over Twinkie/UtahMama's mini-posting frenzy tonight!!!

Wendy, GRRRR is right regarding your hubby's grumpiness about meet activities! :rolleyes1

Rob, I will NOT be rooting for Kansas tonight! Actually, we will probably only check in a couple times to see the score. Have to watch Medium at 10.

Please feel free to add it to the hotT college chick lexicon. You're welcome.

BTW, my caffeine is at the optimal level, thankyouverymuch. Besides, the "I'm confused" role has already been cast on this thread. AHEM!

ETA: 1-4-3, of course!

Thanks, Moo. :) And don't worry about that babynurse, she's perfectly fine. I'll pay for that.

Consider it done.

Really? By who? I'm confused. :confused3

1.I can't believe you're the only one to get that, RobIn! You are a chick, aren't you!
2.Not even at a Denny's?
3.Ah! Sports. I'm watching a House repeat. Now there's snark for ya.
1. No! And don't make me prove it! (I think the rest basically ignore your posts Wendee.)
2. Not even a Denny's, Ihop, Waffle House, not even a truck stop (which is what we thought we'd find, the only one only had a convenience store in it). It struck me a bit odd that there were a number of national chain restaurants in the town but only fast food ones. There was not a single chain sit-down, waitress take your order restaurant -- only local places that all closed up by 10 (many of them closed at 8 Saturday evening).

Hi everyone

I'm kind of dragging tonight......

Marita! Sheesh! Go to the store and buy some frozen dinners or sumpn if you don't want to cook! At least there are veggies in those! I know you're not a big eater but try to eat something good. (I saw that you were the only one with your menu closed in the Beaches/Cream pic on nebo's thread.)

Lexi, I don't like frozen dinners
The reason I had no menu in the Nebo picture is because I only had 20 minutes to spend before I had to run off, so I only had a glass of water. I look horrible in that picture :scared1:

Bad news of the day: I couldn't sleep last night till about 3 am, so I dragged into the office at 11:30 vs my usual 10:30. So I got a gentle talking to. Boss said how about 10-3. As opposed to my usual 10:30 - 3:30. OK, I guess I can handle that, I have to train my brain to wake up a little earlier.
I should have just called in sick!
(Remember, I DO work from home when I get home)

Good news of the day: Between hubby and I, we got a $100 a week raise :woohoo:

Hey Moovers,
Had the most boring day ever at work. They had planned to do some dusty work so we were serving a cold lunch. They never did any construction today. Guess it was too pretty(high 74). then came home and crashed for 2 hours. Or I would have answered Uma's Princess Bride. Not a chick flick. By casting Andre the Giant, it makes it a must see for 'rastlin fans everywhere.
Rob, is Nevada, MO dry? that's why most towns don't have chains. Although how a town exists without a Waffle House is beyond me.
This game is keeping me up waaayyy past my bedtime. Just can't not watch.
The Disneyland trip seems to be a go. All four of the guys are planning on making the trip. Just have to wait for WKU's football schedule to be official so we can avoid missing homecoming.
NAB, I won't be working 2 jobs during basketball season, so I should be okay. If job corps job doesn't go federal by summer's end, I'll give it up.
I have to reset the podcast interview. Mike's daughter's basketball team made the finals in St. Louis, so he couldn't keep our appointment. Sometime this week.
Later.

5. Lexy what a bonus! Bounce back discount and free dining!

4. How can my foot feel broken when I did absolutely nothing to it? That I can remember.

3. Cheryl December 10-19th is the perfect time to go!

2. Wendy, I hope my DVR still has some hours left to record. Who has time for TV? I keep erasing Days, sorry Nab, to make room for the other shows. Tim's on a back to back to back travel schedule.

1. My mom and sister and my nephews leave for their 1 bedroom Villa ?Saratoga DVC vacation tomorrow. I am not jealous one bit! Did you know that the DVC people get their ressies made for them?

1. Prove it! Can you quote anything from Legally Blonde? Do you listen to Celine Dion? Do you know what Bali or Maidenform are companies of? Do they really ignore me?

2. Sounds like Utah on a Sunday.

Weather in the 70's and a nap!
I'm shocked you knew my quote.
You are a CATCH, I'm telling you!~

5. If one of us wins the lottery, let's plan a girls only trip in December.

2. What did we do before DVR?

1. I am jealous!

Yes my foot feels broken and it's swollen. I can't step on it, use it, walk, run, skip, hop, jump rope, line dance, juggle, especially flex it.

All I did was get up and go down the stairs and the pain has been quite painful ever since. At school it was just throbbing.

I iced it when I got home.

It's the top of my foot before the ankle.

It feels like I constantly need to rotate it to make it crack to pop it back and it won't pop back.

Silly, trivial, I know. But it's me.

According to our local paper, stroller rental is going up from $10 to $15/day for singles, and $18 to $31 for double.

ECV rental is going from $35 to $45/day.

Mony, I felt like I broke my middle left toe for a couple of weeks, no idea why :confused3 But it's ok now.

Did you know you cannot edit a title?

Never mind, Thanks PJ!

Sounds painful, Mony, get it checked out.

There's a little button that says "go advanced" after you press edit. I think you should be able to edit the title if you use that. Night, y'all.

DTD, I agree. I've never thought of Princess Bride as a chick flick, even if it does have kissing and love and stuff in it. Nope, Nevada MO is not dry, at least not as far as packaged liquor goes. They've got a stand alone liquor store or two and liquor sections in their Wal-Mart and convenience stores. I assume liquor by the drink is allowed too (still shouldn't affect the places I mentioned that don't sell liquor anyway). There's only about 8,500 people or so but I would think the demographics needed for a KFC or Sonic would be about the same for a Waffle House or an iHop -- maybe they figure if the rural folks have time to sit down and wait for a meal to be cooked, they prefer to cook for themselves whereas fast food is more of a convenience thing?

A1. No (the only reason to watch that movie is to watch Reese Witherspoon -- might as well turn the volume off).
A2. No (my sister bought tickets to the Celine Dion concert in KC, I did not -- true fact: the tickets for the NOVEMBER 2008 concert went on sale in October 2007, I believe the Fall 2008 concert sold out in 2007 :sad2: ).
A3. Companies of? I know they make bras but then men do know about lingerie. :rolleyes1
A4. I doubt it. I'm sure they actually read your stuff (at least those who take the time to read back).

Do I pass Utah's Chick test?

1. yes!!!! Whoever said orange is the new pink was totally wrong.
2. No. I did like the titanic soundtrack.
3. Yes. And the closest outlet where you can get 3 for $10.
4. What? huh? did somebody say something?

I have been to Utah on a Sunday. You can eat at the Olive Garden but you can't order wine. However that is also true on a Wednesday. However have you been to SOUTHERN Utah? there you have to know the church affiliation of everybody in the county because some gas stations are not open on SATURDAYS and some are not open on SUNDAYS and they (the gas stations) are few and far between.

So do I pass? do I get a toaster?

Hi DTD!! Nice to see you here with the non-angelic crowd tonight.

Mony, sorry about your foot! :grouphug: Bummer that your hubby is traveling so much. I'm sure timing for December, if it goes beyond the imaginary trip stage, will be dependent upon my daughter's schedule around Christmas.

According to our local paper, stroller rental is going up from $10 to $15/day for singles, and $18 to $31 for double.

ECV rental is going from $35 to $45/day.
Man, what a huge jump in prices, Marita  The way my knee has been feeling lately, maybe I should look into renting an ECV from off-site. They'll probably raise their prices too! I also feel bad for all the families who don't want to have to lug their own strollers on the plane.

No comment on the game . . .

Twink, I agree - orange is NOT the new pink!!! And I am still Princess Bride ignorant  BUT, I would pay goog money to see Legally Blonde, The Musical :lmao:
