Moonlight Magic! - Is it for "second class" DVC owners like me who bought AFTER the 2016 cutoff?

It has to do with IT. That’s why some are not getting the email with the link.

It's also worth mentioning that Disneys email policy is goofy. I opted out of promotional emails from ESPN years ago, and now get no promotional emails from any Disney entity, DVC included. I would guess that I would also not get that link. Luckily my wife does get them though, and she sometimes tells me when she does.
 

We finally got an email for the April AK Moonlight Magic Event yesterday with the link to sign up at 9am today.

We are 50 point direct point owners, but we booked our April reservation with resale points.

I have 100 points I bought direct with a reservation May 16-18, and I keep getting a message that either my member number or reservation number are wrong? I have tried copying and pasting, I have typed them in, this is so frustrating!

Having the same problem.

Do either of you have multiple reservations for the same time period? They had my friend’s reservation as “my” reservation for Moonlight Magic in MK. It was very frustrating until I put in the other (my friends) reservation number. They actually let me sign up with a number in which I was not in the room!!
 
I have reservations 5/12-5/16 (Art of Animation), 5/16-18 (Kidani), and 5/18-5/22 (Yacht) and have tried all the numbers and got the same error message. After spending an hour on hold for member services I was told sorry they can't register me, even though they see I have a reservation and I confirmed that reservation and my member number with them. She said lots of people are having issues but they can't do anything. I asked her what I was supposed to do since I have been trying to register for 2 hours and she said she hoped we got in. Awesome. Thanks.

Next time yell "Rebellions are built on hope!" into the phone. See if the agent gets the reference. It probably won't help, but they (Disney) were the ones that gave us that quote.

Question - is it their own proprietary registration site now? No longer "eventsbydisney.com" in the URL bar?

I should have, I was just too flustered lol.

So it's a 3rd party site (that works great on its own) now making an API call to a DVC system to verify memberships.
