Well, that’s it for September!! You can find all the calendars for this month on PAGE 1! It looks like some calendars will be for both September/October. I will confirm that once the October calendars have been released. Thanks to everyone who contributed! If you’re going Disney this month, I hope you have a wonderful trip!

Just wanted to thank those who are posting these. As I've mentioned a million times, I thought our trip 15 months ago was our last trip, so our trip in three months really really will be our last. I'm trying to plan as much as possible. I want to see some of those extra little things. No more, "Oh, well, we'll get it next time" It's going to be now or never.

The barcodes just take you to the main Disney World website 'Recreation' page for that hotel.

Good Morning All!

HAPPY OCTOBER!!

According to Magical Resorts Guide, the calendars will remain the same for October, and possibly November. I’ll be sure to check back on November 1st to confirm. PAGE 1 has all the current resort calendars. To note: Fort Wilderness has an updated calendar, which I’ll be sure to include. To everyone with a trip this month, I hope you have a wonderful time! That was for April of 2024. ("Halfway" as in six months from Halloween). Not what I asked about.

I am asking about October of 2024.

If you go to magicalresortguide.com, click on 'Resort Activities', click on 'Fort Wilderness', and on the right click on 'Holiday Activities', and lastly on 'Halloween', you will today see the "page 2" from 2023's resort calendar for FW October. Again, this is last year's (2023).



In past years, this information would have been on the back of the paper hand out (page 2) that had the movie listings, etc for the Fort in October. Since it lists "month long celebrations", those activities are available starting October 1 (one would think).

I guess we'll have to wait until this website updates their Halloween Holiday Activities section (or someone at the Fort can provide this if it is actually on page 2).

I know what the Halloween activity sheet is, Ed, thanks… unfortunately that is all that’s posted at this time regarding Halloween. If you find it, feel free to post it. Other Resort Halloween activity sheets typically aren’t posted until the week of. I post them as I find them.

Although the April activity of 'Halfway to Halloween' was irrelevant.

The Fort activity sheets (page 2) usually had the H activities in October.

That was the only Halloween info posted for FW for 2024, so I shared it. Did not give a date. Page 1 will be updated as the Halloween calendars are posted. There’s already a Halloween section ready and waiting.

It had a date. It referred to April 27, 2024.

The 'Halfway to Halloween' reference you posted for later this month (October) was from the April/May 2024 reference that usually promoted/announced MNSS dates, etc.

The 'Halfway' event is listed right there in SPRING 2024 between Easter and Mother's Day.



You posted the contents of that April/May 2024 link. (referencing April 27).

I have no wish to quarrel with you.

Apparently you lack information that (annually) has activities available beginning October 1.

It would generally be available on resources that start on October 1. That's what we both need.

The Fort is a different animal from all the other hotel resorts and DVC resorts which takes some getting used to.

Schedule & Pricing
Delight in Holiday Sleigh Rides from December 1 through December 30, 2024. Please be aware, this experience is not available on December 24, 2024.
Board your sleigh for a 25-minute ride at the new Tri-Circle-D Ranch Barn near the Settlement Bus Depot at The Cabins and Campsites at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort. Sleighs fit up to 4 adults, or 2 adults and 3 small children.
Please allow for one hour of transportation time, as Guests will be required to park at the main entrance of Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground and take a bus to the Settlement Bus Depot.
Each Holiday Sleigh Ride costs $80.

Advance reservations are highly recommended, as availability is limited.
Reservations can be made on this page or with the My Disney Experience app up to 60 days prior to your visit. Same-day reservations and walk-ins can be made on a limited basis and are subject to availability.

Know Before You Go

• This experience may be cancelled due to inclement weather, but will occur in rain and cold. Umbrellas, ponchos and sunscreen are not provided.
• Guests using a wheelchair must be able to step up into the sleigh.
• Rides accommodate 4 adults or 2 adults and 3 children only.
• There is a 24-hour cancellation policy. Full price will be charged/forfeited if the Guest cancels within one day or fails to show up for the reservation.
• Please check in 15 minutes prior to your reservation at the New Tri-Circle-D Ranch barn near the settlement bus depot at the Cabins and Campsites of Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort.
• If arriving in your own vehicle, please park near the main entrance of Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground and take a complimentary bus ride to the Settlement Depot.
• Allow up to 1.5 hours to get to your destination when traveling within Walt Disney World Resort.

The Fort Wilderness October/Halloween activities for the end of October have been published in your favorite website, @mrsap. For guests who are ACSHUally at the Fort and checking in to get an activity calendar, it's biz as usual. Speaking for myself, I'll be there later this month and would be happy to feed you the Nov24 FW activities calendar if you so wish.

But the Halloween activity calendar is ALL OVER the DIS Camping Board (as anyone would expect it to be) becuz I put it out there.

BTW, you will want to spread the following message: the FW management screens non FW-guests to keep them OUT of the Fort in the couple days leading to Halloween (they have for several years now). Every park/DS, bus/boat has a CM checking - Magic Band) if you belong to the Fort. If you have an ADR for HDDR those dates, no problem - same if you are a guest there). But the Halloween activities are BY campers FOR campers. So no crashing Trick or Treat. Duh.

The Fort is not a FREE MNSS substitute. It's our 'home away from home'. I'm sure you would agree, no? Of course you would. Those are the rules.

I know you will want to follow Disney's rules in this regard. Because you're a good DIS'ser. I'm so happy to help you with this month's info. Maybe more folks will want to reserve a FW campsite in the future.
