cant WAIT! only just over a month till we leave! its gonna be so amazing! i cant wait! we are going about the same time as last year. lil man is 2 1/2 now and will be so much fun :) we didnt get much time in cali adventure last year so we will take more time there this year! any good recommendations for food? we like grill type food and steak and what not, i LOVE hungry bear, and any bread bowl. but any other recommendations? how about the mexican places? we love mex food. we normally havent ate in the parks too much but decided we will dine in the park more this trip! cant wait to get me a dole whip

Unfortunately for your trip, Hungry Bear will be closed :(

I really like the corn dogs from the cart, Cafe Orleans, Bengal Barbeque, Cocina Cucomunga (in DCA), the breadbowls, Plaza Inn, Pizza Port...okay I think you're getting the picture lol. I can find something yummy at most of the places :)

DCA-you may want to try Pacific Wharf Cafe, Taste Pilots Grill and White Water Snacks at the grand.

I am a huge bread bowl fan and I love the broccoli cheese soup at Pacific Wharf Cafe in DCA. For lunch I ate that three days in a row in June and two days in a row at Christmas. :thumbsup2

yes thats partly why i asked :( im sad cause i wont have pooh or splash either! boo

We like the corn dogs from the cart on Main St and in a pinch will go for the chimichangas at the other carts. They are a decent, cheap alternative.

We tend to stay far, far away from the burger places at DL/DCA. I've found them to be less then average and there's much better food in the parks. So I cant help you there...

But we do eat at the Rancho del Zocalo every time we go. DH likes the quiet atmostphere and it's a "cheaper" sit down type. We always split 2 plates between the 3 of us. Hint, you can buy an extra tortilla (a dollar I think??) and use some beans from your plate and make a cheap kids bean burrito!:thumbsup2 We always bring in fruit cups, veggies, applesauce, etc for DS and this way we can routinely buy 2 meals and split them and then just supplement with what we brought in. So I would say give it a try!:goodvibes

We also like Pizza Port for this reason too! 2 pasta dishes or a pasta dish and a big salad and then split between the 3 of us. It makes for a nice "break" from the typical fried foods found at DL/DCA. Plus the servings are huge! But boy do I wish they had more food options in Tommorowland!!

So I would say try the corn dogs from the cart on Main St, the Rancho and maybe look for the chimichangas. Hint, it's the same cart that sells those BIG turkey legs. It's usually somewhere in front of the castle in the afternoon/evenings.
