I was born in Bozeman, but live in Alabama!! We love Montana, and may even give up a trip to Disney to take our family to Montana next summer !!

We live right outside of Bozeman in Belgrade. When was the last time you were here? My family has lived here for almost twenty years; I grew up in Miles City.
My hubby and I moved our family here three years ago. It has grown so much and is terribly expensive.

I would definetly bring your kids here. I would do it in the early part of summer as the middle is HOT and the last few years (this year is bad) we've had so many forest fires that you can't hardly see the mountains around here.

We are moving your way in the spring - to South Carolina!

I was 2 when we moved south. My dad went to Montana State, and then moved to Huntsville....the engineering capital of the US!!! We have not been to Montana in 16 years....my grandparents lived in Anaconda, and they have passed away, so we have not made it up there to show the last 3 of our children all the beauty!!! We really want to go to the Anaconda area next Summer, but it will have to be late summer due to college schedules for our older children. I hope your transfer goes well! Have you lived in the south before?

No, I lived in Northern Virginia years ago. I have spent 1/2 of my life on the East coast; mainly in the DC/Baltimore area. I am familiar with the humidity (boy that will be change from here) and I visited S.C. this summer and the people were all so friendly and such.

Montana has changed a lot. It's hard to find someone who was either born here or at least raised here. The Bozeman area has grown so much - most people here have $$$ and brought attitudes and their changes so it's not the friendly place it used to be and prices here are very high. The Eastern side of Montana is pretty much unchanged, though.

I hope ya'll can make it up here next summer. It's still so beautiful and in late summer if you go through Yellowstone, you might get the chance to see a grizzly. There are more and more sightings of them!
