It was fun! The ladies were so nice. They were only running 2.5 miles today, I had 8 on my training plan so I ran 5.5 on my own. That first 2.5 went by fast, ( sort of ) they ran a slower pace then I run but it seemed so much faster having someone to chat with! I finished up with a half mile walk and some yoga stretching.
130 minutes early morning exercises.

Missed the last three days due to things being crazy at work, but am back to exercising. I have to keep my work outs to the front half of my week the next three weeks and make them count. 45 minutes of yoga today makes it 502/1000. I hope I will make my goal, I'm gonna do my best.

480/930 burpees(I at least try to keep doing these, they don't take me that long).

Whoa - looks like the mid-month slump is over (when I go into a slump I wish it only lasted two days). We had 10 folks report in yesterday and a good amount of movement on the boards.

We came up short on my goal of getting to 50% by this morning, but that's ok. Sometimes you set a goal and even if you don't get it you just have to keep working at it, righ?. So I know we'll get to 50% - maybe we'll even hit that mark today!! (or tomorrow, but I KNOW we'll get there)

Another 30 biking this morning. Between yesterday and this morning, I made pretty good use of the fitness center at the hotel where I'm staying!

Kudos to you for keeping up your fitness while away from home! :yay:

Add 25 min to the group (and my) total. Did a little walking this morning but my shin was really protesting so I thought maybe it would be best to rest it. Planning to run tomorrow morning....

I finally ran 5K! Well, run 5min/walk 1min but I usually give up at ~2km! Also it took 40min. So that's not great.

Thank you! But not a real race, just ran around the neighbourhood. Not quite ready for racing yet (although I just signed a for a 5k foam run in July, eek!). I think I felt especially slow because I was with my BF who can do 5k in 20 minutes or so and I could tell how much I was slowing him down. ;)

20 min 5k! OMG I don't think I could ever run that fast even in my dreams! I'm a solid 30-40 min 5k runner (depending on health, weather, training and the course) and after 4 years of training I know for certain im happy with that. As long as you're having fun- that's all that matters!

And lisa0711- thanks for the reminder about compression sleeves. I think I'll dig mine out today. It's been a while since I've had shin pain and I think I was heel striking more than normal last week during one of my runs and that caused it. Today my legs feel almost back to normal!
 
After a few pretty much sedentary days, I went out for a run this morning ... total of 87 minutes (including warm up and cool down). I may have to find a new place to run soon, because the circus is in town and pretty soon my park will start smelling like popcorn and circus animals.

@Trith - Congrats on the run! 40 mins is a pretty good pace for your first 5K - and if you keep going, you'll probably get even faster!

Did a 50 minute Bob Harper core work out today, it wasn't making me sweaty but boy am I sore already. Followed that up with a 25 minute walk which was tough for some reason. There were side burpees in Bob's workout(I don't do side yet, just did regular ones instead) so I'm counting those as my 30 of the day because I stopped the dvd and made sure I made it to 30.
