Monsters, Inc. May - move like Roz is watching challenge

Kudos to everyone for making activity happen if they don't really feel like it! :cheer2::cheer2::cheer2:

pix13dust, sorry for the sluggish legs. I know soon you will be back in the peppy part of the training cycle. :flower3: Last night our coach was telling us that all that we have done before is building a good base and now we are putting the point on the pyramid -- you'll be there soon, too. (Or you'll be like I hope I'm not crazy and talking about pyramids at the end of my training. ;))

Big :grouphug: for everyone with those kiddo milestones.

Another 60 minutes with running group brings me to 685/1000 :goodvibes

Ha! I hope I find my pyramid! I'm joining a running group this Saturday so I hope to get some good tips! I better, I never get out of bed that early on a Saturday :rolleyes1
Today is my scheduled rest day, however I'm babysitting a friends 6 month old daughter so I don't know how restful it will be!

130 minutes today at the gym. Was told by a staff member that I'm known there as 'cool pants girl'. I have since realized that I own at least 20 pairs of gym tights/capris/shorts. Is anyone else as addicted to buying activewear as I am?

Please send help I have no money

I can only wish to one day aspire to your level of cool pants! I just posted in my run journal how I'm looking forward to adding a few more items to my run closet. I pretty much run every single time in black leggings and purple tech shirts. I need to branch out.

Old navy compression pants are my one true love. If you wait for a sale (and they always have sales, occasionally 50% off active wear is my fave) they're usually about 20$, and if you wait, they tend to put out codes on the weekend for 20-35% off. When I'm patient, I can get them for around 15$ CAD. The quality is decent, I had two pairs of tights that I wore maybe two or three times a week each through the winter and the only problem I had was a rip where I put my fingernail through a seam at the waist.

I'm pretty sure I'm known at my gym as "that girl who is ALWAYS singing along to her music". :rolleyes1

@Trith - I wish I had such a cool reputation! I always end up with the boring black or gray pants, no matter how much I look at the fun colored ones ... I always tell myself that the boring ones will match everything better.

I totally agree. ALL my pants are from Old Navy. 2 pairs I've been wearing for 2 years and they still look good as new! I just bought 2 new pairs, a speckled blue and a speckled purple pair.... It's possible I look like an Easter egg in them, ha!

Go you! Do you sing out loud? I lip sync... A lot... when I do cardio and sometimes catch myself dancing between sets when lifting... Gotta keep yourself pumped up, right?

A black or grey shirt will go with anything. Just sayin' ;)

I think I know which ones you're talking about, they look awesome! So jealous!

And Just Like That, it's Thursday!

Whoa - what a day yesterday was, between Rose&Mike giving us a big boost in numbers, chatter about crazy pants and all of the awesome check ins we had a very good day and I CAN NOT WAIT to see what today holds!

So we have some Congratulations today, that go out to:

Great Job!

And I think that we're on the cusp of some really great stuff. I predict that very soon we will have some Boo Pink starting to show on page one and we're not even half way through the month! I KNOW...CRAZY!

We are currently 3,010 minutes from hitting 50% by Sunday morning's tally. That may seem like a lot, and that's because it is, but We Can Do It! Right??

Mission: Monster Mid-Way is under way!

20 minutes with running club at work. Five minutes walk/one minute walk. It didn't go great, got a terrible stitch in my side I couldn't push through in the third set. Next week.

630/1200

Going to try to hit the gym later if I'm not too sore, so I may have more minutes then!
