Has he ever seen the Monsters, Inc movie?
Even if he doesn't understand the movie, having seen the characters before will help him to like it more.
Does he enjoy being in places where other people are laughing and making loud happy noises?
It is a very cute and funny show and you will hear a lot of laughter. I have never seen any kids getting upset or afraid in it and even the babies seemed to like it.
The theater is very cute with a lot of bright colors.
We have been to the Laugh Floor quite a few times and have never needed Fastpass. The theater holds a lot of people.
If he has a wheelchair or is using a stroller as a wheelchair, he will be waiting in a bit quieter part of the queue.
This is a picture of the entrance into the building. People with wheelchairs,
ECVs or special needs with a Guest Assistance Card enter thru the door on the far right.
You do need to be aware that the attraction is pretty long and you will be waiting in 2 separate rooms during your wait. Even if you do not wait in the line, you will be waiting thru at least one show inside the building before you go in for your show. I don't know how long the show is, but think it's around 10 minutes or so.
The wheelchair/special needs area if roped off from the time you enter the building and the roped off area is maintained thru the whole wait until you enter the theater.
Here is the first waiting room, which has many banners from the ceiling:
This is the entry to the next waiting room, which actually has a little preshow that intoduces the characters and tells the story of Monster's Inc.
The video screens are above your head and angled down.
This is another view of the same room when we were the first in:
This is a picture of the seating. Sorry it's kind of blurry, but as I was taking the picture, a CM scared me half to death, saying "no Pictures."
