Ok, we've finally pulled the trigger and bought our tickets for an October trip!
Guardians of the Galaxy is my favorite ride, so I am super excited for Monsters After Dark. But my son has never ridden GOTG and has been too scared to ride in the past. So a few questions:
- Does just the ride part change or are there different elements in the queue? Would it be worth going through the queue for someone who doesn't ride?
- If he does want to try and ride (he says he does), is it more intense than the regular ride? Are the ride mechanics the same? (same length/number of drops?).
- Do you feel like it is a not-to-be-missed experience compared to the regular ride? We likely won't be visiting during Halloween again. I know I could probably watch some videos to judge, but I'm trying to maintain surprise for myself.
For reference, he has been through the regular ride queue twice. Once he decided to head for the exit once we got upstairs and the second time he panicked and had to have them release the seat belts right before the ride was to start.
