Thanks for the laugh and for triggering my
Post Traumatic Possum Disorder!
While I choked & laughed at the visual of you at the carwash ,
I recalled the "joke" a family friend played on me.
After trapping a very large, adult possum
in our trashcan he came in and asked me if I'd
thrown anything out that I didn't intend to.
So, naturally, being the 'genius' that I am I fell for it
and went out and opened the lid - can you say STUPID??
Let's just say he and all the neighbors had
the best laugh they'd had in a looooooooooong time

I will never forget that face, and the teeth, and the hissing,
and the.... and the.... and the.... AAAGGGHHH - run away, run away!!

OMG.... I am laughing so hard here... this is one of the best posts I have read in a long time..

I so loved the part about screaming like a girl and run fat man run... I am printing this out and showing my husband in the morning..

Thanks for sharing your story.. I cannot believe you, your wife and the babies drove around all day with a possum in your car, it makes me shiver just to think about it..

The moral to the story.....stay away from Target...

One more thought.....what a good guy you are to treat those guys to dinner and beers after work... Bravo to you!!!!!

OMG !

You are soo lucky it didn't attack! My step dad was trapped on top of the the washing machine in their shed for three hours by a mean butted opposum before it decided to leave!

OMG-that is classic. My jaw hit the floor when you said it was a possum!!! I was totally expecting something like a mouse or cat.
