Monster PIN?

I did, but it is for:
9/1–10/9/10 • 10/24–10/30/10 • 11/14–11/20/10
11/28–12/4/10 • 12/12–12/18/10

and we are going 12/8-13.

Got the same one yesterday. Our trip is currently planned for 12/3-12/11. I emailed our travel agent last night & hope to hear back this morning if she can get it applied to most of our stay if we move our dates to 12/10-12/18. But, we're staying the the value suites (DH insisted), so I don't even know if they'll honor it for the suites. (Read the postcard in the mail & the email I got this morning! to see if it said anything in the fine details & can't find a thing about not covering the suites, which I know some have mentioned previous PIN codes mentioning.)

Ahhhh Disney! Why do you send me codes when we aren't going again until at least December 2011? We're trying to have a baby so no Disney for us!

I really don't know...AND BELIEVE ME I'M NOT COMPLAINING...but I must be in the Disney Good List because I have been receiving PIN Codes every month for the last year. I just received the Monster Code....wow! We are booked to go in September but I might just have to book another trip...what to do!

Just got the MONSTER pin last night, too! Interesting that just last night I priced out yet ANOTHER vacay on the Disney site, completed their exit survey...and then BAM!...PIN! And while I may not be able to use this one, it gives me hope for my trip in February! At any rate, it is quite clear that Disney won't be abandoning its discounts any time soon. Right??

Also..quick question...if I book a room only I know that I can then go back apply a GP offer after...can you apply a PIN if you get it after you book room-only at rack rate?

I got it too! We are going the 28th-4th and my balance went from 452 to 265 on the room!! (I already had a discount for booking my room during my march trip). So happy!

In my snailmailbox today was the Monster Savings code from Disney Destinations. I can't believe it! Unfortunately, I don't think I'll be able to use it.I'm just happy I finally received one.

Just received our Monster PIN yesterday! We're already using a PIN we got a few weeks ago for 30% off Value resorts-that saved us $250.00!!!! I would like to use this new pin, but I'm not sure since we are staying December 16-21 if we could use it for our whole stay or just 3 or the 5 nights. The offers good through the 18th. I'm still secretly hoping to receive a FD pin!!!!!

The Monster PIN is a discount PIN code we received from Disney-it will save you 40% at most resorts on selected dates. I think they call it a Monster PIN because it is such a good deal-the website shows characters from Monsters, INC! Go to www.waltdisneyworld.com and set up an account. Save a few itt. and you will probably start receiving PINS from them. We have received 3 in the past three months! Good luck!

I finally got this PIN this morning and sent it straight to my TA. She said it doesn't apply to premium packages. I always thought the room reservation was kept separate from the package reservation. Anyone happen to know?

My travel agent offers 40% off . I took advantage of it last year and stayed at the Poly at 40% off. We weren't able to take the free dining because of the discount..but I tell ya..the free dining was a better deal..

We just came hom on Tuesday from 5 nights at CR, upgraded from atrium club MK view to a 1 BR suite tower club MK view! How can you top that ? My pile of mail is delivered today and there sits the Monsters Inc PIN code! Granted, 40% is not as good as what I had for our trip last week (I believe 45% off since we stayed 5 nights) , not counting that magical upgrade, but 40% is nothing to sneeze at! Unfortunately, DD's marching band is going the week between Christmas & NEw YEars, so I"ll probably pass! (sob)

No you can't combine offers, even if its a PIN. You just have to decide which deal is best for you. With 2 adults and 1 child, free dining only saves us about $100 a day, plus we have to buy passes we don't need. 40% off, especially at a deluxe, is a better savings for us.

Has anyone asked about the minimum number of nights you have to stay with the Monster PIN?

I came home today and had a Monster pin code, TA has applied it to my current reservation for some of my trip! I can't change my dates to apply it to more days but heck, any money saved is great!

Wow 40% off is awfully tempting, but we just went in March! Why does Disney torture me so??!!!

We got this one in the mail today. Hoping for something similiar for our trip in January so we can afford the Poly!!!!

We were going to go the 7-13th of Dec, but this pin just forced me to move back a week.

That they excluded that period on the pin tells me they're expecting a crowd that week. That's Pop Warner, too...

I don't mind moving back a week to save several hundred dollars!

Disney is reeeaallly working on me, just received a snail mail PIN yesterday in addition to the email one!! Leaving for Antigua in a few weeks & just started a new job, otherwise I would be planning a Poly stay right now!!!

....Spent hours yesterday trying to see if the Monster Pin Code was a better deal than the Visa Kids Stay, Play and Dine Free Deal......Well, it wasn't! For 5 days/4 nights we are paying $1212 for 2 adults/2 kids at ASM with the Regular Dining Plan and 5 day park tickets. (air extra)

It was intriguing to look into the Poly with the Moster Pin, but it came out to $1000 more. I just can't justify that.....I just can't justify that.......I just can't justify that...... (I'm going to keep repeating that until I believe it

If you call I'm sure they have record that she received it. Many people call and are told they have a 'pin' attached to their name. Good luck!
