I would still call and check. You should argue, if need be, that they sent the email to you. They may not honor it, but I would try anyway. Good luck!

I got this pin this morning. But it does not cover the week we are going Dec 4-11.

But 2 weeks ago we got a free dining pin so we are using that pin. So I can't complain.

I got it too, but we're four adult eaters (DD15, DS10) and one child, so free dining would be better, I'm holding out for it.

We have been able to get one room at POR for five people with 8 day park hoppers and free dining for about $2600 the last two years (2008 and 2009.)
Going to call and compare with this deal, but I'm thinking it will be 3200 ish.


EDIT) Yikes, I called back. 40% for the above comes in at $4342! I'll wait for FD... or maybe just go to Universal this year...

I got it too and applied to POP room only resi (Dec. 12-18) = saving of $200.90 I had to book Dec. 11 at the AAA rate since it isn't included in the PIN. Still holding out for FD since it is a much better deal for my family

I got this one too. I guess it's safe to assume that Free Dining beyond 10/2/10 is not gonna happen this year.

40% off during free dine time? I think we'd still stick with free dine, it just makes our lives so much easier!

I got it too! I want to go sooo bad, but DH is still insisting we wait and go in January again. I realllllly want to maybe squeeze in a quick trip for DS1 bday in September. Hoping I can convince my DH!

If you got the pin, then maybe it makes sense to try to use the discount now rather than to wait for a time when you might not have one. Try that argument with your DH!

We like to go for 14 days at a stretch as we live a long drive away and are slow and enjoy taking our time. I do not see anything but 6 days with the code and then a long 8 day stretch, usually, until we could book again. This would mean buying two tickets at a greatly increased price even if we wanted to go elsewhere in between.

Has anyone tried booking and getting a longer period of time if they checked in on a valid date?

Did anyone else get a PIN for 40% off any resort category select dates 9/1/10- 12/18/10? I just received it this afternoon.
Wow 40% off is awfully tempting, but we just went in March! Why does Disney torture me so??!!!

You might want to call and ask because I believe you can. I have bounceback booked for 12 nights ( had 13 nts) and unless ohterwise noted I was under the impression that most offers and packages can be booked for up to 14nts.

I got it in the mail and contacted my TA right away. I got the AAA discount for the first 4 nights and the 40 Percent on the next 6 nights. Total savings over rack rate is over 800.00 which includes tax. This is an additional 200.00 savings over my AAA for all nights. YAHOO!!! I did get the Free Dining one a couple weeks ago but could not use it since I had already brought my park tickets. But when I did all the number this comes out better than free dining for me since I travel solo.

I am glad so many other people are in the same situation. We received the PIN CODE also but wasn't planning another trip. We would love to visit 11/13-11/20 and to stay at POP. We would like to see MVMCP. We have never been to a special ticket event. We usually visit every other June. Last trip was June 2009. So maybe June 2011 but I am tired of the heat & Star Wars weekends. My DS will be in 4th grade and we usually avoid taking him out of school but I would like to do it one time before middle school. I am waiting for Southwest to release their flights. Plus a relative on my DH's side of the family became ill this weekend so waiting for information on that too.

I believe Disney is trying to torture me!! We got the MONSTER pin not once but twice!!!! I received one pin code in my email last week or the week before.....and what was waiting in my mailbox when I got home last night??? That's write another MONSTER pin code delivered by my friendly postal worker....Now if only I could actually use it! We just went to WDW in April and now we are booked on the Dream for March 2011. Oh when will they send me a code I can use?!?!?

Just got the Monster PIN! Seems like a great deal, especially since we are moving to FL and we plan on getting APs.

Has anyone called and tried to book dates NOT included on the email? It's worth a try I guess.

Just need to decide when to go and where to stay!
