Monsieur Paul an over the top dining experience.

We just dined their Saturday eve and it was fantastic. We arrived at 6pm for our reservation and were seated immediately. They gave us a nice window table. Service was great, my wife has a salt allergy and we advised our waitress and she went and devised a menu with the chef and came out and went over it with us. The food was delicious and the chef kept coming out and looking in on us to make sure my wife was enjoying her food. It’s so much food and the waitress asked us if we wanted to take a break and we did. She was very good at anticipating our needs. We were in no rush and just finishing up when fireworks started so they said sit as long as we want. So we sat while I enjoyed my coffee and fireworks. My wife did the less expensive wine paring and enjoyed the wines very much. The sea bass in puff pastry was excellent and one of my favorite items of the night. They were just so helpful. I don’t drink and when the brought out the sorbet which they served with a pear brandy, they gave me a vanilla citrus mixture that was delicious.
For those concerned about dress code. I had heard upon reopening they required a jacket. We were staying at Boardwalk so we dressed nicely as it was easy for us. It was 90 plus degrees the day we dine. We dressed and walked over. There were people there in park clothes, shorts and t shirts. I guess they have loosened up realizing they are inside the park. Also for those who asked about children there were children of all ages there and seemed to be enjoying it. They must have a menu for younger children as we were next to a table with 5 and 7 year old girls. They were amazing they had their own little filets and sampled everything that was put in front of them and sat there having conversation with their parents for over 2 hours. It was so enjoyable to watch. I don’t know what they were charged but I am guessing it wasn’t full price because their portions We’re smaller.
a great experience all around and so if your concerned you can go comfortably and bring kids.

Sounds like you have a great experience just like we did. We are going to take friends with us to Disney world in February and we are going to take them to MP. I know they will be very suprised.

Oh my god I had no idea this place was even open again!

Hi. How long does the whole dining experience take?
We were there 3 hours but we stretched it out because we wanted to see fireworks. They willl take your cues and make it quicker if you wish but I would say 2 hours is necessary

I hadn't realized they allowed children to enter Monsieur Paul.... I thought it was adults only, but maybe they reneged on that.

They did originally say age 10 or older. But when we went in January, there was 1 boy a few tables over who was probably about 6 or 7. I don’t think they really encourage children, there’s no child’s menu published for example. Not sure what the price would be, but if someone is willing to pay the hefty price for a child’s meal, you know they’ll be let in.

there were quite a few children there. Mainly teens but as I said there were 2 younger 5 and 7 year olds only know the age’s because we were talking with the family

@BeachMouse1 can you tell us what those items were? We had the chocolate dessert, but not the other items pictured.
one is the lobster salad which was a nice lobster tail and claw with minimal greens so it wasn’t just lettuce with a few pieces of lobster. Delicious. The next was the sea bass in puff pastry with that was probably my favorite item and they shaped the puff pastry like a fish! Then the last is the rack of lamb also excellent. It’s pricey but no so over the top expensive that we want to do it again on our next trip. We actually made the reservation the night before and there were a few times available

Thanks! I had the mussels soup, scallops & fillet. I was debating on the lamb. I had heard how good the mashed potatoes were with the fillet, so I went with that. Everything was excellent.

I will be going next year and will put this on my list. I've had haute cuisine in Paris so I'm curious how this compares.
