Monorail - which stop do you HAVE to disembark?

I know that you can ride the Monorail "all" the way around (i.e. you don't have to get off) but they do make everyone disembark at one stop. I just can't remember if it's the Tomorrowland station or the DD station. Thanks!

Everyone must exit at the Tomorrowland station. You can board the monorail at Downtown Disney, but you have to show a valid admission ticket to board there.

Thanks! My younger son LOVES the monorail, so I'm just trying to plan our first afternoon there.

May 30th and they were making everyone get off at both place...no round trips due to the length of the line at DD. I could tell some regulars were used to a different policy because one family questioned the CM three times...then still tried to stay on at the DD stop. The CMs there made them get off, saying that there were no round-trip rides at that time.

Ahhh...thanks for the info. I'll prepare my 3 yr old that we might have get off and get back on - I find that as long as you set the expectations pretty low for preschoolers, they don't have as many tantrums!

Was this happening in the evening, because we were there on the 30th as well. We tried to board in TL for a round trip, but the CM said we had to get off at DD, because it was near the time for the fireworks. Obviously, they shut it down around that time for awhile.

One night we caught the last monorail from DL to DD before they stopped service until the fireworks ended. We left stoller in DL so I asked CM if we would be able to get back to DL. CM told us to get off at DD station, but not to exit gate but instead circle back up to platform and get back on to monorail. They emptied the monorail when it arrived at DL and lets us all on. Then at DD I went running down stairs and back up, wife and kids simply went through gate on platform and we got back into completely empty monorail for ride back to DL as CM was there and I knew we were doing the roundtrip (I asked to sit up front but CMs were in hurry to get monorail back to DL and asked we get on fast) So we got private monorail through DL at night, pretty cool! Thanks to helpful and considerate CM at DL station.
