I'm trying to make a short treasure hunt for the kids. We plan to start at the GF and end up back there after visiting all the monorail resorts. So, I need to have things they can find at each location. I have a few things so far and other ideas are greatly appreciated.

1. What is the name of the organ in 1900 Park Fare?

2. There is a Hidden Mickey in the lobby on the back of something grand and musical. Find it.

3. When you are at the Magic Kingdom, you can see some of the resorts outside and they actually match the area. As we ride the monorail from the Grand Floridian to the Contemporary, match each of the resorts around the Magic Kingdom with the part of the park they are from.

4. The monorail lands on this Arizona landmark at the Contemporary.

5. Find the large mural and look for the animal that isn’t quite right—what is wrong with it?

6. If you are adventurous, find the secret path between the Ticket and Transportation Center and the Polynesian.

7. Find the hidden Mickey in the lobby of the Polynesian. You may need to look down.

8. Find a pressed penny machine and retrieve a souvenir.

Looks like fun, definetely something I would have enjoyed doing as a kid!

Both questions can be answered by listening to the monorail announcer:

How about asking the name of the bodies of water around the monorail resorts-Seven Seans Lagoon?

The body of water behind the Contemporary is Bay Lake?

Polynesian Questions:

1. What type of fish are living in the ponds in the outside lobby entrance? koi or carp

2. What is the name of the building where the monorail station is? Great Ceremonial House

3. What does "mahalo" mean? thank you

4. What is the name of the counter service eatery here? Captain Cooks

Contemporary:
1. What is a "sticky mickey?"

2. What famous movie is one of the giftstores named after? Fantasia

Grand Floridian?
1. What era or style is the resort designed/decorated in? Victorian-maybe a little challenging for kids though

2. What is the name of the arcade and fast food emporium here? Gasparilla games and grill

I hope these questions will add to the fun :)

Thank you! :thumbsup2

Those will be good additions. I wanted to have questions based on the monorail spiel, but I couldn't locate a current version to be sure that they covered the names of the lakes. The other questions are also excellent.

I'll post a completed, tested list after we return.

It is the Grand Concourse.....not the Grand Canyon.

Have a great time.
