We are planning a June trip and can only go for a few days. ( Staying at the Dolphin) Can you take the monorail system around the whole park to get an overview and end up back at your hotel? Is there a better way to get an overview? Any help would be appreciated.

You can take a ride on the monorail. The Dolphin isn't on the monorail system so you would have to walk to the front of Epcot and ride the monorail from there. It will take you to the transportation and ticket center outside MK. From there you would have to transfer to the MK monorail to get to the park and you could see the resorts. If you want to visit the resorts take the resort monorail not the express.

Welcome to the DIS.

the monrail only goes to the MK and Epcot.

the buses are your only choice for AK and Studios - plus the rest of WDW. they are free to ride!
