Does this really exists? We're going in Nov And wanted to give it a try! Any thoughts?

Yes, it exists.

My picks are:

Contemporary, the Wave bar.
Polynesian, Tambu of course.
Grand Floridian, Mizners.
Back to Contemporary and Top of the World at BLT (you must be a DVC member staying at a Disney resort to get in here though).
If you don't mind going off-monorail, then throw in Territory Lounge at Wilderness Lodge.

Thanks, we will deff do that! That's a great way to see all the hotels Christmas themes as well! Just checked out the bars the look incredible

Christmas is the best time to do this. But anytime of the year is fun. The Outer Rim at CR is OK too. The servers are very friendly. It can get chaotic tho because of the people waiting for CMs. Wave is much quieter. ENJOY!

We skip Mizners & do the bar at Narcoosees or hit Territory Lounge instead. Mizners is tomblike to us & we are far from party animals. :lmao: ETA - Territory Lounge has great noshes too.

If you like the Monorail Crawl, you can also do the Crescent Lake Crawl. Of course, we usually just stick to the Swolphin Lounges as their Mixologists are AMAZING! No flavored syrups, only freshly made from real ingredients.... Now thems some cocktails! :drinking1

We love some good cocktails, especially at Disney! Have any drink recommendations?

Don't even like pina Colada, and I love them at the poly bar near Ohana's ... I believe it's not a mix but home made. And is served in cool tiki glasses and umbrella... Feels lke a vacation in a glass to me...:thumbsup2

Over at the Dolphin, stop in BlueZoo - Have a ZooBerry Martini & some Crab Nachos
At the Swan, stop in Il Mulino's lounge & have a Testarosa & some delicious pizza.
If you enjoy a boat drink on a sunny afternoon, check out just about anything at the Cabana Bar & Grill (Dolphin pool bar, grab one of the big couches or beds.) Sadly, they no longer make the pineapple infused rum they used to make the most amazing Pineapple Mojito with! :lovestruc

Flying Fish has a great little bar area. They have seasonal cocktail specials. Stick to those, they are all handcrafted. I have had some delicious treats there. The standard Disney drink menu uses alot of syrups.

Over at the Poly, Tambu lounge is always upbeat & lively. Everyone has to have a Lapu Lapu at least once in their Disney careers ::yes:: It's in a Pineapple - take it to the Beach, watch Wishes for Bonus points, lol

Of the beaten path, but really cool is Victoria Falls at AKL. They have some great South African wine, if you like that for a change. They also have the Victoria Falls Mist. Love the atmosphere of the Lodge. Oh & the spiced nuts are delish.

Can you tell we like a nosh with our drinks? ;) We like to do that instead of a regular dinner. We're not actually big drinkers at all. We just like what we do drink to be really good & in a really cool place.

If you are not staying on Disney property or at a park that day, can you still get on the monorail?

Sounds like you guys are some seasoned veterans of the Monorail Bar Tour! Thanks for all your help! We will deff hit those bars up

Citricos at GF has a nice size bar too. Great place to grab a drink and app

I agree! When we did this last, this past October, our last stop was going to be Mizner's. When we arrived however, we found it to be a quick service type of place(temporarily) and we were sent to Citricos. The bartenders there could not have been nicer. One even gave me a long stem rose that they had behind the bar.

We also double dipped at CR. We had a before dinner drink at CA Grill, and then an after dinner drink at Outer Rim, and started the crawl from there. It was a great night! :thumbsup2

Mizners has one of the best pours in Disney. We dont really hang there but the drinks are strong! Maybe we dont hang out there because the drinks are so strong! I want to remember our night! Lol! The servers are very friendly. TL has one of the worst pours. IMO the last time the drinks were so bad I got a sore throat from the mixes! And I love TL atmosphere and WL. I have great memories from when a server told DS they didnt have orange soda. But somehow found it for him. And the next time we stayed there he remembered him and the orange soda! But the last time the drinks were really bad!!

Mizners is open now as a bar. It was converted to snack service for a couple of months last year while the CS at the resort was closed for renovation. It's not the most happening place but the drinks are good.

I would always pick the Wave bar over Outer Rim.

If you rent points and stay at BLT can you get into the Top of World Lounge at Bay Lake?? Or do you specifically have to be the member?

You're supposed to be a member or the guest of a member (meaning: the member is present and staying with you) to access Top of the World.

I would always pick the Wave bar over Outer Rim.

I second the recommendation. It's also the best place to grab a drink if you need to escape the Magic Kingdom during the early afternoon. The bartenders know where all the bodies are buried.
