Does anyone remember there being among any of the model types since WDW opened, a monorail with a white stripe? That is a monorail "white" with two thin black parallel lines indictating a white stripe in between? I'm trying to settle a debate here.

Thanks,
Jonathan

I don't remember a white stripe monorail, my brothers and I always tried to get on the black strip one...

Our Transportation Board may be able to help with this.

I am always on the Black Stripe Monorail. There currently is not a white stripe on but there may have been on the old Mark4 monorails. According to the pilot I have spoken too the color system was a new addition to make it easier for them to control the monorails on the lines.

The Color Stripe was always there even with the
Mark-4's (when WDW open in 1971), One thing about the Monorails back in the Early days - there were only
5 cars to a Monorail train, where now there's 6 cars to a
Monorail train. Sometimes Disney will show Old Footage
in the TV programs with 5 car train's in them.
