Monorail broken down on Epcot line.

... How the heck do I get from Epcot to MK if monorail should decide it wants to break? ...

It was last century when we stayed at CR so things may have changed. I don't remember their being buses from CR to EPCOT, we had to take the monorail. I think we had to go from CR to TTC and then EPCOT. One could go to an EPCOT resort and take a bus from there to MK or take the monorail to TTC and then take a boat or the monorail to MK.

I don't remember us having problems with the monorail last century. In 2007, we noticed the monorails having delays and just not working. We have sat on the beam for awhile a couple of times. It was never long but it certainly showed a weakness in the system. This was before the monorail accident and I have heard the system has slowed down as procedures changed after the accident. I don't think we have been on monorail since 2009 or 2010. We just avoid the monorail.

Hello again! Back with another update!!

O'hana was able to get us in for dinner!!!!! We spoke to a wonderful manager named Meredith who knew our name and our story. She immediately put us in to the computer and handed us a beeper. We were seated 10 minutes later!!! Yay!!!

Even though being stuck for 3 hours was a bummer, everything seemed to work out. They have been generous with the fast passes so I feel the time wasted has been made up!

We were even brave enough to take the monorail from the Polynesian to magic kingdom after our dinner

We leave tomorrow and I am happy to say, I have felt the disney magic these past few days!!
