I am IN. :cool1:

Sadly, my kids are out of school starting Wednesday. So I will be on my Summer Schedule. I will be around- just not so much. I will be sure to come by the riddle when I can.

Have a Great Summer Everyone!

Thanks Linty :lovestruc ;)

Ok- which geeks here have already seen Prince Caspian? I need reviews! How scary is it? My six year olds want to go. They haven't seen The Lion, The Witch and Wardrobe yet.

You know I have seen it. But you should see the first movie before you see Prince Caspian. I think you will understand it better.

As for the fighting...yes there is fighting but there is no real blood. You see them stab and such but you don't see blood.

I have seen the first. And read all the books many times. The girls were just too little when the first one came out. I would definately show them the first movie first but was wondering if the second one would

1. be to intense on the big screen for a kindergartener
2. be as good as the first quality wise (though the trailer looks great)
3. be to boring for a little girl.... how much fighting is there?

Thanks for the info on the lack of gore- that is helpful!

::yes:: I 100% agree. Weird how someone can get stabbed and there be no blood on the weapon :confused3 It is awafully violent. I think it was more violent than its PG rating dictates, but not really violent enough to be PG-13.

It probably is too intense for a kindergartener. It's as good or better than the first, quality-wise. If the little girl is a typical little girl, it probably would be too boring for her. If she's a tomboy, she'll probably enjoy it.

By the way, there were two riddler birthdays over the weekend that you all neglected. I especially blame Donna because she's supposed to keep track of all this stuff.

I saw it too. I thought all that fighting was totally boring...lol. It was pretty violent...I don't know that I would take a 6 year old. I thought the movie was visually beautiful (the Prince included) ;) but by the end....both my DD and I were tired of all the battles. It seemed to be more about battling than plot to me.

You must confuse me with the RG who cares. ;) :lmao:

Was it your birthday, Brat...:flower3:

You also forgot about crcormier, whose birthday was yesterday (unless I'm mistaken).

Why didn't I mention you in my edit? :headache:

Because you didn't expect such snarky wit from me?

Nah, it wasn't that. I guess I just didn't think about it :p

Some loser on the community board is being a complete idiot. It's either someone new or some pansy on a different name trying to cause trouble. I hope he gets banned quick because he's really pissing me off and he hasn't even said anything to me.

Thanks for the reviews. From what you said I think we will wait. I wouldn't have thought to take a 6 year old but one of them asked after seeing a trailer. I think she thought the Prince was a hottie.

Happy Quarter of a Century, EM!
