We had slush yesterday but school is on time today. Many surrounding counties are 2 hours late.

Good morning to all of you. I hope today will be the last packing day. We got a lot done yesterday. Then I hope to get all my shipping done tomorrow (stuff to DS, stuff to special friends, stuff to favorite sister). Then I just have to get the phone arranges, the electric put in our name, and tell the PO here where to forward the mail. Moving is such a treat!

Just popping in to ask a question - what is snow?

We are in the low 30's this morning but it is supposed to be in the upper 60's this afternoon.

Am I the only DISser that does not watch reality TV?

You are not alone! I don't watch Survivor, or any other "reality" show like it. But I cna't begruge those that do, to each his own!

Snow, I will learn what it is soon. Although it has been chiily enough here to frost up the roofs. GUess that is good for the "fresh cut" CHristmas trees that are waiting to get put into peoples homes.

Whoops...my message could have been interpreted as holier-than-thou which was not my point at all!

Mrs. AA and I just don't watch TV at all; it's pretty much videos or the evening news so we've never gotten caught up in it. I just have no frame of reference for the dating, survival, racing, or dressing from Queers R Us that people discuss.

Of course, before we had kids and did have cable we used to record a block of shows over the weekend and then watch them throughout the weekend. Quality programs like:

Hercules
Xena: Warrior Princess
Highlander
Star Trek (either Next Gen or DS9)
Walker, Texas Ranger

Now that was good trash TV!!!!

LOL, Alan!! The last shows I can recall actually looking forward to on a regular weekly basis were Combat with Vic Morrow, Mission Impossible with Marin Landau(the original, I think there was a sequel), Outer Limits and Twilight Zone.

And I did not think of it that way!!! Alan, your PC awareness is showing.

Actually, I think that true reality TV would be very boring, watching people like us DIS, work, do the grocery shopping, you know all the "real" things people do. Not too many of us get dumped on an island for a month to fend for ourselves.
