Monarail from POLY to GF?? If so how long?

Hi I was wondering if anyone knows if you can take the Monorail directly from the Poly to the Grand Floridian. We have a split stay in April. We are doing 4 days Poly and 3 YC. We want to do the Character Breakfast at the GF and I would like to know on which half of the our stay I should book it. From what I have read it seems like Poly and Gf are both Monorail resorts and I should book it when we are at the Poly but I want to be sure. Also about how long do you think it would take to get there? I was thinking an 8:00 ps but if it doesn't take too long to get over there. Thanks for any info you can give.

GF is next on the monorail route after the poly. Trip time has to be 2 or 3 minutes.

Dont know how often they run but its constant. Cant beleive it would take more then 15 minutes at worst. Also, there may be a path you could walk, the resorts are next to each other.

It's literally a 2 or at most 3-minute ride. If there's traffic the drivers may temporarily stop the monorail for a minute, but that's all.

In the time it would take you to walk from your room to the monorail station, you could walk to the Poly itself. We made the walk a few times while eating at Ohana's. Made me feel better after stuffing my face.

Good idea about walking ir its that close> I agree about burning off some extra calories! Than I can justify a BIG Mickey Waffle!!!
