Ariel: Congratulations for team Blue!
Snow: I am so sorry to hear about your sister, I am glad you got the opportunity to spend some good time with her.
E: I know what you mean about being paranoid about US! We have so much pink stuff now that I am terrified of Charlie coming out with a winky.
AKL: Oooh, painting sounds fun. We will be painting this upcoming week as well.
Today was my 33 week appointment. Start weight was 157 and today I am 165.

Only 8 pounds so far! I am really hoping to be able to lose some of the Grad school weight after the pregnancy. I had gotten chunky before getting preggo and needed to lose weight. So not gaining too much gives me hope. Charlie is also happily flipped head down, so I am happy about that! I was convinced she was still head up judging by where I was always feeling kicks.
The only issue I have been having is dizzyness. This morning I woke up super dizzy and even ended up stumbling into the wall. I felt dizzy for over an hour. I have has short spells before but nothing that was so bad I couldn't walk.

The doc said my blood pressure is running a low, and that probably contributed. She also said that after my glucose challenge last month, my glucose actually came back LOW after drinking the glucola. So she recommended keeping water and some of my dried fruit by the bed to have before trying to walk around too much.
We had our family baby shower this weekend and it was a lot of fun. Almost everyone stuck to the registry which is nice. We have an informal shower this weekend just for our local friends. We are also going to be starting to finish up the nursery. We got some coupons to BRU and will be ticking off some of the bigger items that we need before the big day. After the baby shower DH and I looked at each other and had that sort of 'smack in the face' moment where we realized how soon she will be here and how much we need.

I am starting to get somewhat nervous/frightened of having an actual infant. Labor doesn't scare me at all..... but bringing home a newborn seems terrifying.
Today we did a costco run to fill up our new freezer which had arrived last week. I am going to be bulk cooking so that we wont have to cook for the first several weeks after Charlie is born. I will also keep items for our lunches at work. Recipes to be done this week include: Crab cakes, chicken chimichangas, Chicken Lasagna, Salmon nuggets, Lentil soup. Next week I will add in: Split pea soup, Polenta, Falafels, Stuffed Shells, & Spanakopita. We also got various roasts, whole chickens, fish, chops, and tenderloins in there. I am set!

Cooking is the one domestic thing I am good at and I am determined to keep that freezer stocked.
That is my life! Picked up more overtime next Tuesday. Best of luck to everyone here!
