I've only had one sonogram since the baby was big enough to tell it's sex and she said it's a boy. I am still leery though because I am carrying like I carried my daughter and the woman doing the sonogram was a little loopy. We went with what she said and I have a blue nursery with a dresser full of blue clothes and only have picked a boys name. I have this growing feeling that the baby will come on April fools day and be a girl. I've mapped out a plan of action to switch out clothes and have the nursery repainted ASAP if that happens.

Origionally this afternoon I was going to have a MickyD's chees burger and small fries. Took a look at my belly and second guessed that one and went for the salad and VERY small serving of mac & cheese! Do I still wish I had the cheese burger, HECK yeah, but I'll be able to break my diet another time when I will REALLY NEED To!!!

The heartrates didn't work for me. DD#1 had a fast one, the second a slow one. Both girls! But for what it's worth (not much) the chinese predictors said girls for both. A little superstition is fun.

Congrats to all the new pregnant ladies. Can't believe DD is already 7m old. WOW!

Morning everyone! So today is my 40th Birthday! I can't believe it's here! I can't believe I really don't care that much and I'm much more excited/nervous bout Friday! Mike gave me some lovely gifts this am! I mean truely wonderful and full of heart! I am so very lucky! Tonight we are going to Meghan's vollyball game and probably not to much after, which is really ok! My mind is so on Friday, I'm not sure I could enjoy anything without being preoccupied until then. I'm at a stand still until I see our Bean

I had a list of questions for my Dr. and she answered each one and then proceded to tell me to stop acking like I have a disease because I am only pregnant! Cracked me up! I guess I can stop being so paranoid now I will be 14 weeks on Saturday.

I am keeping a list too and Mike said last night I should keep it next to the bed side as we always think of things when we are lying in bed!

I've had high heartrates like that also! My first was in the 160's, and my last was 154 I think. Most also tell me with high rates like that, it's a girl.

It's funny, because my DH says, "What is SHE doing in there?" or "Is SHE kicking?" If it is a boy, it will be funny to tell him that for five months, his dad called him a HER!

I've been trying to stick to "baby" or "little bean" most of the time, but I did say "her" during our 2nd ultrasound. Then I quickly corrected myself and the tech said, "you can call it whatever you want right now."

Wow, that would be crazy! But I am sure it is known to happen. Glad you have a plan in place, but I hope you get what you planned for!

I have never heard of that? Faster heartbeats = Girl? Hmmm interesting! So can't wait until Friday to hear our baby's heart beat. I feel like I have gassy pains today. My tummy looks like a balloon. Mike is calling me Bumps as a nick name now

If you go by Chinese predictor, its boy for me. If you go by what side the baby is implanted on, its boy. If you go by heartrate, its girl...lol. So, I guess I'll just wait to paint the nursery!

I am keeping a list too and Mike said last night I should keep it next to the bed side as we always think of things when we are lying in bed!

Yeh, I just have a piece of paper and keep adding to it but my doc answered my questions last time. No new ones as of yet. I have a pregnancy journal but since I don't keep it with me (it is beside my bed) I don't use the "questions to ask doctore" section very much.

Hi, ladies! Happy Friday!!

Not sure if I mentioned I ordered some thing for me several days ago. I ordered a cuddle pillow, some books, and a doppler. The pillow came in but I haven't opened it yet. Just something told me to wait, but I think I will open it this weekend. Got the books; Girlfriend's Guide to Pregnancy, A New Mom's Guide to Breastfeeding, and Heading Home with Your Newborn, From Birth to Reality. Also, got the doppler! Listened to what we think is the hb last night!! The first time we did not hear anything, then I remembered I needed a full bladder. So we tried again a little whilae later and I think we heard it. We listened to my hb and this one was definitely faster, yet it wasn't as fast as I think it should be based on our last u/s. So I am not certain. But it was down by my pelvic bone on the left side. I'm sure we will try again this weekend.
