Yes it is a short list but growing!

I feel you on really wanting a certain sex. We would really like to have a boy but we are okay with having another girl if that is the case. Just think about how close they will be, being so close in age!

Hey everyone! Pretty slow on here lately. I've been super busy so I haven't been on the DIS in a few days.

sunlover, I got my letters in earlier this week and I like them alot. I'll have to post a picture. I purchased mine from dwellingonline. I sent her a picture of the bedding and she replied with a few thoughts on what she could do and it came out really great.

IHeartTink...THanks for the list! You can update mine...I'm due February 2nd and found out we are having a boy. :)

Hope everyone is doing well. Not too much going on here. I can't believe I'll be 25w on Thursday! The nursery is coming together. I'll have to post some pictures soon. Went to Babies R Us this weekend to take advantage of two 20% off coupons to purchase a new crib mattress and car seat. Woo Hoo! They gave us more 20% off coupons so we're figuring out the best way to use those.

It definitely has been slow around here. I have my 36 week appt tomorrow and my RCS will be scheduled for 3 weeks from Friday. Time is just flying now....while at the same time I feel like things are moving in slow motion :) I am so terribly exhausted and then throw in the pain level and I'm past ready for baby to be here. However, I don't feel "ready" for baby to be here either. The good news is that I know that it doesn't matter if I'm ready or not - I'm ready enough :) Today my back is killing me and it's so weird because it's right down the middle instead of lower back pain like I had been having. But it's welcome to stop any time. It's bad enough I may break down and take some Tylenol later. I did realize today though that I will be 37 weeks Monday and I went out on bedrest at that point with DD - then a week later my water broke......so since I'm working now and don't foresee bedrest in my future this time I need to get a bag together for work in case my water breaks here (which would not be fun). I know I would feel better knowing I had dry pants, a cloth diaper or two (for me to use in MY pants until I got to the hospital), and some towels to put down in my car seat. I work 30 minutes from home and hospital so I think I would much rather be prepared even though the odds of my water breaking are slim. I'm so done with work....but I still have so MUCH to do. It will all be good. I LOVE my employer and my boss so it's all worthwhile. If I wasn't so uncomfortable and tired I would probably feel much differently about it. However, as it is I still plan to work up to the point the doctor tells me I can't or I go into labor or the day before my RCS is scheduled at the latest! Hope everyone is doing well.

Sunlover - is that baby still being stubborn and hanging in there?

DH thinks he can paint them himself. He's crazy. We went out and bought the letters and paint, that's about it. I'd love to see pics of yours. I have a feeling we will be ordering. I just hate that it will probably take 6-8 weeks. How long did yours take?

I hear ya about being ready. I hope your last few weeks fly by or you go early, but not at work. :)

Today was my last day of work. I'm taking a sick day tomorrow and then I'm scheduled to be induced Friday morning, my due date, at 5:45AM! This baby is stubborn.

3 weeks ago, my doc told me I was 1-2cm dialated and 60% effaced. He said I'd probably go a couple weeks early and didn't see me having to be induced like I was w/ DD. HA! I guess he was wrong. Monday, he said I was 3-4cm and gave me the choice if I wanted to be induced so I didn't have to hustle to the hospital, etc. I said yes, please, so I'm going in Friday morning unless he surprises us and comes in the next day or two. I'm hoping no now since I have a ton to do tomorrow.

Hello Again! So I am the bottom of the list, huh?

Feeling much better from my cold.

I was supposed to have my first ultrasound today, but the ultrasound tech called out sick. I am actually glad it was cancelled as I though 6 weeks was perhaps a little too early for an ultrasound. I am rescheduled for next week and am pleased that hopefully by then we should be able to see more/see a bit better. I am excited for the appointment next week.

My DH and I are flying to Houston this weekend to see some friends! So far no morning sickness for me. I have just been feeling very fatigued. I have been sleeping much more than usual. Today is the first time I am having a little bit of an upset stomach. I have some cheese blocks, nuts, and dried fruit I try to munch on every couple hours.

Work is going well. My assignments have been altered so I don't have to be around x-ray or fluoroscopy anymore. Hope everything is well for everyone else!

I am so sick of being sick!

I do not remember being this nauseous during my first pregnancy so either I forgot or it is much worse. I just can't wait for it to be over.

Well I went to my 36 week appt this morning. They are estimating that baby is 8 pounds 3 ounces already - YIKES!! Good thing I'm having a c-section! Oh...and I think she is just a big girl and not just chunky because when they measure her femur it's measuring at 40 weeks. I also had the GBS test done today. I am so super tired though...don't know how I'm going to make it these last 3 weeks.

I have muy big ultrasound next Thursday. Super excited!

Sunlover - Good luck tomorrow - I'll be thinking of you. Update with pics when you can.

Syrreal - so do you want a boy or a girl?

Hi everyone --

I've been missing for awhile because I've been so busy/exhausted since my DH and I got back from Disney last week. It was a really nice trip and just makes me want to go back as soon as possible! Maybe December before Christmas in 2012 .... the baby will be almost 2 then so maybe that will be do-able!

We finally finished registering for the baby shower, and I actually ordered the crib and mattress yesterday. Now, if only we could borrow a newborn baby so we could practice taking care of one :rotfl: Not that's I'm a baby expert, but my DH is totally clueless about babies. He thought that you put the baby face down to put a diaper on and was horrified when he saw a rectal thermometer at Target. We are signed up for lots of classes at the local hospital, so hopefully he will feel more prepared once the baby actually gets here.

WdworBust, i'm right there with ya (since we're due at the same time). ;) We're as ready as we're every going to be. Dd is definetly ready to meet her little sister. RCS is scheduled for November 9th so i've just gotta hang on for 18 more days. Braxton hicks aren't fun though.

I would like a girl, but really am not invested in either direction. If it's a girl, awesome, if it's a boy that's cool too. :)

It would be nice to have a girl, though, so that I don't have to take down wallpaper and pain the room that will be the baby's. Right now it has an off-white striped wallpaper with little pink flowers on it. It's actually really pretty for a girl's room.

Sunlover..it took only 2 weeks. :) I have the pics on my camera...I need to get them on the computer. HOpe you are doing well. :) :)

WDW...I can't believe you are so close! My water broke with my DS when I was 35w6d so I can't help but think that will happen again. I never even thought about having stuff at work just in case that happens. Thanks for the tip! Last time, with DS, my water broke early in the morning when I was home. Sounds like you're little girl is going to be big!

lspst...My DH was the same way. Actually, both of us were. DS was the first diaper either one of us had ever changed (I never did the baby sitting thing). It's funny, though, because after baby arrives, you just know what to do.

Hi ladies. Mason Jack arrived on Friday, 10/22 at 2:14pm (or 14:14 military time, nurses say he's a lucky baby), 7 lbs 10 oz., 20 inches long.

Everyone is doing well. Here are some pics of Mason and his proud, big sister, Abby.
