Didn't even realize I did it. . . I have a younger cousin (12 years old) that's named Veronica and we call her Vero. Maybe it is a Miami thing or something - but all Veronica's I've heard of were called Vero by someone Of course you have to say it in Spanish

PS I can't wait to post pictures of her either! She's very comfortable though. . .

It's a Hispanic thing I'm Mexican and all the people who call me that are too. None of my non-Hispanic friends have ever thought to give me that nickname...my best friend is white and she calls me Nic...veroNICa. Very original of her

So when is your actual due date? I didn't think Jake would come before or on his due date...it was weird that the morning of my induction my water broke on it's own. I know you aren't planning on being induced but maybe she'll surprise you and come on time anyway

My EDD is Friday, 10/16. . . . Can't wait to officially join the other thread - though I don't know if I'll be able to leave this one (I know I won't be able to until all the frequent posters here make it on over to the "other" thread too).


And how original of your best friend, Nic, lol. . . I guess it is a Hispanic thing, hope you don't mind I called you Vero Was just natural for me You should post new pictures of Jake over on the other thread. . . . I can't wait to see how much he has grown!

My EDD is Friday, 10/16. . . . Can't wait to officially join the other thread - though I don't know if I'll be able to leave this one (I know I won't be able to until all the frequent posters here make it on over to the "other" thread too).

I think that is expected. We (Veronica, DisneyRon and I) are still hanging out waiting on those that we got close to over here, too.

You'll be joining us soon enough. How lucky we are to have two threads of people to support each other.

It would definitely be too hard to say goodbye-- luckily there is another thread to say hello on!!

I can't believe that this day is here already! It seems like it was just my first visit to the dr. and I was making our "20 week" appt. Fingers crossed that the baby is doing well and that we are able to find out if it is a boy or girl!!!!!

Sorry it has taken so long to post!

But we finally have a baby GIRL!!!

Klarabelle Noelle was born on Thursday October 8 at 6:10 pm weighing in at 8 pounds 14 ounces and was 21 inches long!

It was a LONG process. I went in for the cydotec on Tuesday and was in the hospital until Saturday. I was pretty close to a c-section a couple of times but things ended up okay!

I will explain try to get pictures up soon!

Klarabelle Noelle was born on Thursday October 8 at 6:10 pm weighing in at 8 pounds 14 ounces and was 21 inches long!

It was a LONG process. I went in for the cydotec on Tuesday and was in the hospital until Saturday. I was pretty close to a c-section a couple of times but things ended up okay!

I will explain try to get pictures up soon!

CONGRATS!! What a beautiful and unique name - I love it!

Can't wait for the pictures (and more details when you have time)!

Hulagirl - Hope all went well with the ultrasound today. Can't wait to hear what you are having!

So no one told me that part of the ultrasound to check cervical length involves the "other" kind of ultrasound!! I never had one of those before and was less than pleased to be surprised about it and had the good fortune of a male medical student to be in the room for it.

Good news though is that my cervical length was over 4cm and it was closed, so at least the contractions I've been having haven't caused anything to start dilating or whatever. According to my LMP I am exactly 23 weeks today, 23 weeks, 5 days according to the 1st ultrasound and 24 weeks, 1 day according to today's. So not measuring super large as of now, just about a week or so. And she (definitely she) was 1.8lbs, so also about a week or so bigger, but I expected that so not a huge deal.

I also got my regular flu shot which hurt like heck. I've become such a baby to shots after getting these progesterone injections with lidocaine!

I don't mind at all And I will definitely post some pictures of Jake later on. He has changed a lot! And just keeps growing everyday

So glad to hear all is well - yeay for the contractions not doing anything to your cervix Now if you could have your uterus call mine and explain how to do the contraction this

Wow Adi you next!! and I'm next after that!! Though I got about a month or so left to go. I can't believe how fast the time as gone and how so many babies have been born while on this thread!

I went in on Friday for my first real OB appointment since being released from the RE. It was long, and they took a lot of blood. I actually let them take an extra for a thyroid research study (and got a $10 Target card for it-good deal since they were already taking blood). It was nice to do another ultrasound. The baby definitely had a very defined face! It was cool, and unbelievable since we were only 10 weeks. Only 1 appointment, then the next is gender. It's coming up quickly!

We're 11 weeks today. I'm so in shock over all of this!

We found out today that we are having a girl!! I have been thinking that it is a boy so when she said that it was a girl I burst into tears I'm so excited!!! And we are due March 5th. yay!
