SO many June and July babies!! It makes September seem so far down on the list... although its less than 3 months away!!

We didn't have the sex either, so I figured she hasn't been around...I think rparmfamily did and I know Mendy did, but I don't want to update til we have details from them...I think someone else up there did too...

Piecey - Yes, sharing rooms, something I had NO desire to do. I can't imagine what that would have even been like. As it is, you're woken up so much between feeding the baby, checking vitals, etc. Imagine doing that for someone else too?

So I had planned to nap right now, but my mom called and now I only have about 30 minutes before I have to pick my daughter up from camp so that sorta ends that.

Any updates on the situation with the dude-who-shall-not-be-named? Did you figure out the birth certificate thing and whether or not you can put his name on and such?

Not as of now. Apparently, I can't take any sort of action until after the baby is born so I'm holding out. And of course, he hasn't tried to contact me at all. Big surprise there But I did look at a few legal websites and going off of that, it seems I could have his rights involuntarily revoked if needed since he left knowing that I was pregnant with his baby and did not help out either financially or emotionally. They consider it a form of abandonment here in Texas. So once I actually have the baby I'll get the ball rolling and see what happens.

Well we went in for our sonogram and everything looks great! They changed the due date to February 14, Valentine's Day!

I am starting to get pretty sick- I threw up in a parking lot yesterday when I picked my husband up from work.

I just hope it doesn't last past 14 weeks like it did last time....

My shower is 8/1 as well!! We will be happily showering together!!

Here's a copy of the invite so you guys can see how creative my girlfriend is - she know's I'm not a "girly girl" with showers (heck, my wedding shower was Nemo themed!) so she came up with this...

We are also to have a small hospital that doesn't do room sharing - it's still all one room with a kick butt tub and shower, sleeper sofa and we don't move at all during the whole stay. I guess that's might be the benefit of a small town hospital...

My last appointment I was 4 cm.

Rparm has been posting on Patsy's new moms thread. I know she had baby but not statistics.

I had my growth scan this afternoon. I'm at 29w 5d. The little girl is estimated at 2lbs 15oz & the boy is estimated at 3lbs 8oz. Which just sounds huge to me. (Dan was born at 26 1/2 weeks & weighed 2lbs 5oz.) I know that they are just estimates & in no way guarantees, but the boy sounds like a monster to me -- in a good way, of course! ;~D

All else seems to be well with the kids. I keep talking to my uterus, telling it to stay calm & the kids telling them to stay put!

Can I just say I am so sick of shaving everyday!!! It stinks worrying if today will be the day and have to shave. Is it just me or do any of you find shaving twice as hard when your belly is in the way!!!!!

YES! I hate it so much that I had my first (and last) bikini wax just before my due date with my 5 year-old so I wouldn't have to worry. But I did still have to shave my legs myself and that wasn't (and isn't) fun either.

CONGRATS on their growth! That is very exciting!! You are almost at 30 weeks, which is a milestone, and then you have to reach a few more! Hopefully you can keep those buns in the oven as long as you want!!

I'm already having issues and I'm only at 24 weeks, not looking forward to when I am as far along as you. . . maybe I can convince my DH to do it for me

It just gets worse...pray you don't get to 40 weeks and still have to do it.
I have cut myself more pregnant than the 30 years I probably have been shaving!

I was determined to shave before I went in for my induction... I cut myself a million times but I was shaved!

It was horrible trying to shave the week after the c-section. I can't sit in water yet and I couldn't bend to sit on the edge of the tub. It was a funny site I'm sure.

Well I had my anatomy scan today and you can add me to the Blue! team!! It's a Boy!! Which means my feelings and dreams were totally wrong, but I am thrilled with a boy! He's already taking after his father stubborn little thing. The tech needed him to roll over and no matter what he would not do it...just was not going to cooperate today . It' so nice to be able to put a name to the bump now and time to go shopping!!
