I'm 6 weeks today and will go for an u/s on April 29. I'm still reading and wishing the best for you really pg ladies!

You all have been chatty today!

It has been a long day for me, but a pretty good one. I worked until 11:30. Since I was leaving early, I had practice tests for my kids and I finally caught up on grading and recording. Then I ran to the next town (9 miles in the opposite direction from my dr!) for what I thought was an interview. There was no interview-he flat out said he wanted me for the job! We both agreed to keep it quiet until May 1, when my kids are through with state tests. I don't want any of my students shutting down because I'm leaving. I'll have a 9 mile drive instead of 2 miles, but the kids will be in a much better situation. This is the highest ranked school in the county.

Then I drove the hour plus to my dr's office. The nurse hooked me up for the nonstress test, and I got to hear her heartbeat for about 45 min. My dr got called to the hospital, so they just left me hooked up while he was gone. She was moving all over the place. I turned in my paperwork for the tubal-definitely through having babies! I'm still slightly dehydrated-which I don't understand since I've been drinking water nonstop since I got out of the hospital.

Next week (now I'm having weekly appts!) I get to have a sonogram! This will be the 4th one with this baby.

I went to Target and got some more baby stuff on clearance. I also got some pjs and a robe, and some sample size stuff. I have my bag packed now. I can't believe in 5 wks (or maybe less) she'll be here!

I don't have a nursery, or any room for full sized furniture. I have a pack n play at the foot of our bed, a swing in the living room, and a high chair in the kitchen. My school secretary's son works for BRU, and he got them really cheap on clearance. I bought them from her at a yard sale-with the tags still on them.

I'm planning to take Katie to WDW next July when she'll be about 14 mos old. But we live in MS, so the heat and humidity are normal for us. When we went in July in 2006, it was cooler there than it was at home! I really want to go late this year (I haven't been since Nov. 2007 and I'm going through withdrawals!), but a really great deal would have to come out for me to be able to do it. I know I need to stay here and save all I can, but we'll see.

Our Pack-N-Play came from Amazon.com, today. I wanted to set it up but DH looked at me and went "Uh, where?" and I looked at all the boxes and got sad. No room.
I went for the no-frills Tango in the Tongo for $60.45!

Handprint station at my baby shower... I had people paint their hands, put them on the black foamboard and sign their names with a metallic Sharpie paint pen. The boards will hang on Lucas' wall as my "decorations"

Patsy, I love the quilt!

It was nice to waddle in for an interview (I pulled off my Mickey crocs in the car and put on heals) and find out he already knows how pregnant I am and was mainly there to convince me to take the job! Regular shoes just aren't working for me-I'm afraid my coworkers and students will be seeing the crocs every day until the baby comes! What looks better on a pregnant woman than a giant sized pair of red shoes with Mickey holes all over them.

I told the kids, but told them the job is top secret for a few weeks. I was afraid dd9 would be upset, but they were both excited. Neither is really happy this year. There have been too many changes, and none of them for the better.

I bought Katie the cutest sundress today. It is for our trip next summer-yes I'm obsessed! She isn't even here yet, but has a princess dress for CRT in 2010! It is yellow, with a pic of Cinderella, Bell, and Snow White on it. She better be a girly girl!

I love the quilt, too. It makes me wonder if my boss is bipolar, though. That couldn't have been cheap to make and she hasn't been too thrilled about me being pregnant.

I think it's just personal preference. I never use the liquid kind, getting it in during the right cycle would never happen for me. I've always used dryer sheets, not exactly the same thing, but way easier to remember.
